“Paige! Look out!” Phoebe screamed as the dark lighter pointed the crossbow towards Paige.
Paige wanted to orb out, but her injuries from the energy ball made it hard for her to even move. Phoebe ran behind the dark lighter, and tackled him. She wasn’t about to let her baby sister die.
Paige, now able to stand up looked as Phoebe wrestled with the darklighter. Paige had every opportunity to walk out the door next to her. But, she stayed.
“PIPER! Where’s that potion!?” Phoebe screamed right before getting thrown across the room into a shelf.
“Coming!” Piper shouted back, hurrying up the stairs. As Piper walked into the room, she tried to blow up the darklighter. “He won’t blow up! Why won’t he blow up?!” Piper questioned, concerned.
The darklighter let out a sly grin, and once again point the crossbow at Paige. Paige, too weak to do anything, was about ready to collapse. Without thinking, Piper ran and shoved Paige out of the way. Paige hit the ground, fast and hard. The arrow had hit Piper in her side, good thing she wasn’t part whitelighter.
While Piper lay bleeding, and Phoebe unconscious, the darklighter once again aimed at Paige. This time however, he hit her.
He smiled. “My job here is done” he commented with a grin, before orbing out.
When Phoebe finally awoke, she saw the horrid scene before her. Both her sisters had been shot by a darklighter. She ran to her baby sister first, thinking about how the poison would have kicked in.
“Paige? Can you hear me?!” she questioned, tears starting to well in her eyes. She felt for a pulse, and when she didn’t feel it, she felt like her world had just crashed.
She was about to break down, but then remembered Piper. “Piper?!” she yelled, quickly shooting up. She ran over to her other sister, and felt for a pulse. She was filled with joy and sorrow at the same time when she felt the weak pulse.
“LEO!!?” she shouted. “Leo! Please, Leo, Leo!!” he kept shouting. She wondered why he hadn’t felt them hurt, but that wasn’t her concern now. She then pulled the barbed arrow out.
Leo orbed in. “What is it Pho-” he couldn’t even finish when he saw his wife on the ground. He quickly came to her level, and place his hands over the wound, awaiting the amber glow.
It glowed, and she healed.
“Ughh” she moaned, sitting up with the help of Phoebe. Leo was already at Paige trying to heal her. When nothing happened, he stood up slowly and tears started to form in his eyes.
Piper and Phoebe looked at him, then Paige, then at each other.
“She’s gone” Leo commented sadly, looking down.
“No…she can’t be gone!” Phoebe said, desperately.
Piper couldn’t form and words. How could she have lost another sister? Her baby sister?
‘Its all my fault’ kept running through her mind. Even though, it really wasn’t. But, she was speechless.
“Leo, she can’t be gone…” Phoebe pleaded.
Leo looked at Phoebe then looked down.
“But why?” Piper questioned, tears starting to form in her eyes. “Not again…” she replied, looking Phoebe in the eyes. “We just found her!” Piper let out, before Phoebe wrapped her arms around her older sister.
