With the excitement for the new X-Files move, The X-Files: I Want To Believe, I've recently begun to get back to my XF roots. I suddenly feel compelled to purchase XF seasons and watch them before July 25, when the new movie airs. Trailer: www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMyVCBnRiJYI'm so psyched about this movie! I was a little kid when I first started watching XF with my parents. (David Duchovny was actually my first ever "TV crush," which really just goes to show how long ago that was!) Just out of curiosity, are there any other "X-Philes" (XF fans) here who are also excited about this? I never imagined that another movie would be made since the series ended six years ago, but apparently this movie is supposed to take place in real time, so it'll be set six years after the series finale, "The Truth." Personally, I think it will be amazing to have David and Gillian back on screen as Mulder and Scully again. My little shipper heart is pounding over it. They have such amazing chemistry and they just make Scully/Mulder such an "epic" love. lol ;D This movie is definitely at the top of my Summer Movie List. (I just wish it came out in June instead of July!)

Woohoo! A fellow X-Phile -- awesomeness! Excited? Ha! That's putting it mildly. I'm absolutely estatic and totally cannot wait until July when I Want To Believe comes out into the theaters. ;D X-Files was probably my first TV obsession. I watched the show faithfully from the series pilot episode (which aired when I was still in Middle School) to the series finale (which aired my senior year of college), even though I thought the last season totally sucked without Mulder there. And if I couldn't watch it, I taped it. X-Files, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways: - I braved the crowds and saw Fight the Future in the theater the day it came out.
- I own the DVD and VHS cassette of FTF, along with CD's of the soundtrack and score.
- My dorm room at college was covered in various pics and posters, ranging from the movie posters to regular posters to the famous "I Want To Believe" poster to the calendar that was put out every year (and I've kept every single one of my calendars).
- The Mulder and Scully figures that were put out for FTF proudly graced my desk and now stand guard on my bookcase where I have a copy of every one of the "unofficial" behind-the-scenes books.
- The X-Files: Unauthorized Access program has made it's way from my old desktop that I had down at school to the laptop I currently use.
- There are probably about 6 or 7 different shirts hanging in my closet -- mostly short-sleeve, but there's one long-sleeve too.
- And last, but certainly not least, the first couple of seasons on DVD which I have picked up on my own or have received as gifts over the years.
Obsessed? Me? Never!

A longtime X-Phile here. I have been a follower since 1993 when I was 42 years old at the time.
I liked season 10. I know people complain why did they bring it back. But Im a huge supporter of Mulder and Scully - *they* make the show for me. Yes I didnt like one or two episodes in season 10 - but I loved seeing my two favorite agents back on tv.
Favorite Seasons/franchise in order: 1. Season 2 (Fantastic mythology episodes and some great monsters) 2. Season 4 3. Season 8 (So underrated - great monster episodes and decent mythology episodes - *could* of ended here with Mulder, Scully and William and do a series of movies after) 4. Season 1 5. Season 3 6. Season 5/Fight the Future 7. Season 10 8. Season 6 9. Season 9/I Want to Believe 10. Season 7 (my *least* favorite and so many boring mythology and monster episodes)
Favorite Monster of the Week episodes: 1. Squeeze 2. Eve 3. The Host 4. Ice 5. Wetwired 6. Bad Blood 7. Field Trip 8. Detour 9. Darkness Falls 10. Folie à Deux

Great lists grannycharmed. I have to make my own one when can.
This should be moved to the other fandoms board.
