So what would you have wanted them to do? Issue a public apology to the entire world, expressing regret for having aligned themselves with the Avatars?

You sound as if you saw nothing wrong in them using magic upon others without consent. Is this how you feel? Have you ever considered the possibility that the writers could have allowed the sisters to acknowledge on the show . . . in a conversation that helping the Avatars to peform that spell without the public's consent was wrong?

No, I just feel it was adequately implied that they realized they were wrong when they helped reverse the damage that had been done.
Do you mean in a scene between just the three of them? I'll admit that would have been nice to have something like that.

Well, this is where we disagree. I don't think they did squat to imply that casting a spell on others without the latter's consent was wrong. It seemed to me that all they did was make the Halliwells realize that they were wrong to help the Avatars create this so-called "perfect" world.

I guess I'll have to watch "Charmaggedon" again...I just don't see why they would have reversed their mistake if they didn't realize it was wrong.

They did realize that helping the Avatars to create this perfect new world was wrong. What they had failed to realize that using magic upon others without any consent whatsoever WAS WRONG. Come to think of it, Phoebe and Paige committed this same crime on Darryl in the S6 premiere.

Wasn't using magic without mortals' consent the de facto method by which they helped the Avatars change the world?

They . . . never . . . did. I'm going to say this for the third time. The only thing that the sisters did acknowledge was that helping the Avatars to change the world into STEPFORD WIVES II was the wrong thing to do. That's it.

Ljones, if you were the one writing that kind of scene into a script, what lines of dialogue would you have chosen for them to say?

And Paige had forgotten about him by the next episode, so she obviously didn't care for him all that much. Neither did I. He was all the parts of Cole that were horrible revisited. Much too, MUCH TOO obsessed! Just like when Chris died, I was glad when Brody did, and was INFURIATED when Brody was made a whitelighter while Leo was punished when Leo did much more to bring back the real world than Brody did, despite Leo being an avatar! ZANKOU did more than Brody did! If Brody deserved his wings, then ZANKOU should've gotten his wings after "Something Wicca This Way Goes?" Leo should've gotten his wings back and Brody should've just been dead! Paige was SOOO much better without him! Just like Chris, Brody's only good point is that he was cute and fighting on the "right" side. That was it for both of them. GOOD RIDDANCE!

I found brody very annoying. And I think that the elders only made him a whitelighter because he was against the avatars just like they were. I find that alot of the elders' decisions were very opiniated. Also I don't think that he was the right guy for the paige. soo overall I was happy when brody died. And just like Es, I was upset that he became a whitelighter because he really didn't deserve it.

I liked Kyle Brody very much. He made Season 7 very interesting for me. Although it was a shame that he became obssessed in avenging his parents' deaths. In the end, I'm glad that he realized that the Avatars were not responsible. More importantly, I'm glad that despite this, he also realized that the Avatars were a threat to humanity.
I find it ironic that it was Brody (who had been obssessed for so long) was clearly able to notice the serious threat that the Avatars posed . . . and yet the Halliwells and Leo had failed to see this threat until it was too late.
Leo (along with the Halliwells) had helped bring about that mess created by the Avatars, which is something that Brody is not guilty of.

His death has very sad for Paige... I really liked him but it was to bad he was so obssessed...
In an interview Rose McGowan said she really liked Kyles Character and she found it sad that it did not work out in the end...

My problem op is the Avatars seemed vengeful in not resetting time to stop his death.
Kyle was killed at the same time that everyone went to sleep. It couldn't have really weakened them to turn time back past a minute more. They even be rewarded with a fallen breathern in the process giving them strength.

I liked Kyle Brody very much. He made Season 7 very interesting for me. I totally agree! To respond more in depth to the OP, I believe Paige was extremely grieved by Brody's death, on multiple occasions. The other sisters such as Piper and Phoebe never trusted nor liked him, all that much, so it's understandable (from my perspective) why those two were just "w/e" about it. I don't expect them to care about Brody, but IK they care about Paige, and that was consistent. So, they did cater to Paige's loss, not necessarily grieving about Brody. But, Paige most definitely grieved for Kyle. She cried, when Beta killed him, and the potion cracked, and the lead Avatars were like "nah, we're not gonna re-wind time to bring Kyle back to life". In order for Paige to "feel pain", Phoebe took her back to his place, and Paige cried about his death, once more. After they put the world back together, and she found out he was a whitelighter, and they said their goodbyes, she was crying then. How much more crying do you want Paige to do over Brody?
