"One's Loss...Another's Gain"

This is the lost episode of Charmed. It comes after "All Hell Breaks Loose". Enjoy!

CHAPTER ONE

Piper heard the chimes. Then the running of footsteps down the stairs. "Leo?" mumbled Piper, "Leo is that you?"

"Listen just hold on" replied Leo. Then suddenly awakened Piper. She sat up and looked around. There was a dead doctor hanging out of the window. The windows were all smashed and she remembered she a Prue were thrown through a wall.

"Oh my god! Prue!" screamed Piper.

"It's ok honey", said Phoebe soothingly. "Leo is healing her now". Piper and Phoebe watched intentively at Prue. Blood was pouring out of her ears and her head.

"Oh my god Leo! What's happening? Why isn't she healing?" said Piper.

Leo was almost in tears now. "I-I can't heal the dead, Piper".

"No!" screamed Piper, "No! Dammit heal her. You better heal her dammit. We need her".

"Piper. I'm sorry. This is just the way it has to be" replied Leo. Piper, Leo, and Phoebe just laid there for hours. Clutching Prue.

CHAPTER TWO

Piper held the broom. Just staring at nothing. She thought about all the good things they had together. When they first got there powers. When they went back to the '70s to visit there mom. When Prue was murdered by the dragon demon a year earlier... and survived. Piper dropped the broom. She ran upstairs into the attic, opened the Book of Shadows to the "Call a Lost Witch" spell. She recited it. Nothing happened. Just then she heard a distant voice.

"Piper? Piper? Where are you?"

"Prue? Prue is that you?" Then in popped Phoebe's head.

"Nope. You got the wrong sister, sister" said Phoebe with a chuckle. Piper didn't understand how Phoebe could joke at a time like this.

"How can I have the wrong sister with only one sister" asked Piper, "Look Phoebe, i just need to be alone right now".

"Hey hey just wait a minute. You're not the only one who lost a sister! There are others beside yourself!" At this point Phoebe was in tears. "I-I just miss her so much. I need her here too Piper. She was the oldest and always took charge! How are you supposed to do it? You're just a middle sister!"

"How dare you! You mean person!" screamed Piper. She put up her hands to try something. Maybe Phoebe would freeze now that she wasn't being so nice. But instead the lamp beside her blew up.

"That's it!" Phoebe levitated toward Piper to kick her.. then fell in mid-air. "Great! That's just great! Look what you did Piper!"

"What I did? You're the rude sister" screamed Piper.

"It was both your faults". It was Leo. "You used your powers against each other again. The Elders took them away. And without Prue you are the most vulnrable". Piper had had enough and thenpricked her finger to summon a ghost. But it wasn't Prue. Or Patty or Grams. It happened to be...

CHAPTER THREE

"Dr. Griffiths?" asked Phoebe.

"Ah!" shouted a shocked Dr. Griffiths, "what am I doing here? Oh my god... why am I transparent?"

"Why was he summoned?" whispered Piper into Phoebe's ear.

"I don't know" answered Phoebe, "Maybe he knows something we don't?"

"Weren't there three of you earlier?" asked Dr. Griffiths. The sisters didn't know how to tell him that Prue had died.

"Here I am" said Prue, walking into the attic. Piper and Phoebe exchanged glances. Piper was wondering 'what the hell was going on?' while Phoebe was filled with delight.

"Um... it's not that I'm not happy to see you, but-"

"-what are you doing here" Piper finished Phoebe's sentence.

"What are you talking about? I just came out of the Underworld looking for Phoebe. I was wondering why time hadn't turned back yet after you had... well died"

"But time did turn back, and YOU are the one that died" said Phoebe. But that couldn't have happened. Because Prue was right here.

"Prue, I love you" said Piper sternly.

"Yah I love you too but this is no time for sisterly love". 'Well, she couldn't have been a demon' thought Piper. Before anyone knew it Leo had just orbed in to the room.

"What the hell are you? Another witch?" asked Dr. Griffiths.

"No actually, an angel. Wait, who are you? Anyway, Piper, Phoebe I just came down here to tell you that Prue isn't actually dead", said Leo. Then the sisters stepped out of the way to reveal Prue.

"We already know that, Leo. Now we want to know why" said Piper.

"Well, the Elders have told me why Prue is here alive and downstairs dead".

CHAPTER FOUR

"Well, she's not actually dead" said Leo.

"So tell us why!" said Phoebe.

"Well, Prue can astral project so when time reset itself, the dormant Prue was in the Underworld while the astral Prue was here, in the real world", said Leo.

"So I can be in 2 places at once?" asked Prue. But before Leo could answer, the attic windows smashed open, blowing out the candles so Dr. Griffith's ghost disappeared. But in came Shax, followed by some past demons and warlocks they had vanquished in the past 3 years. Leo orbed out of the attack when Jeremy lunged at him, but never returned.

"Piper, Phoebe, get the book while I fend them off!" shouted Prue.

"Well, we kinda don't have our powers", explained Piper, "we sorta got in a sisterly wiccan battle".

"Well fix it!" screamed Prue, battling Nicholas. Jeremy then lunged to stab Piper, but Phoebe jumped in front of Piper then started to levitiate. Piper acted so quickly she raised her hands to freeze him, but instead she blew him up. Phoebe landed back down on her feet when she heard something.

"Phoeeeeebeeeeee" moaned the Woogyman.

"Not this time" said Phoebe. "I am light. I am one too strong to fight. Return to dark where shadows dwell. You cannot have this Halliwell. So go away and leave my sight. And take with you this endless night!" And with that, the Woogyman disappeared. At the same time, Prue cast the spell to multiply her strength. Then all 3 Prue's astral projected. Prue #5 next said a spell.

"Lavender, mimosa, holy thistle. Cleanse this evil from our mists. Scatter its cells throughout time. Let this Nick no more exist". And with that, Nicholas was gone.

"Ah! Eames!" screamed Piper. He was holding a Darklighter crossbow. Then he orbed and appeared behind Prue #3. She used her telekinis on him but he deflected it. Both Eames' were now coming after the Charmed Ones.

"The spell! Use the spell!" said Phoebe.

"Time for amends and a victim's revenge" said the girls.

"Cloning power turn sour" said Prue.

"Power to change turn to strange" added Piper.

"I'm rejectin' your deflection" giggled Phoebe. Eames was gone then the girls looked around the room. There were no more demons or warlocks except Shax, who the other 5 Prue's were battling.

"You ready?" asked Piper.

"You know it" responded Prue.

"Evil wind that blows. That which forms below. No longer may you dwell. Death takes you with this spell!" and with that, Shax disappeared. Prue nodded at the other Prue's, and all disappeared.

"You didn't vanquish him" said a man's voice from behind. It was the Angel of Death. "He's second on my list, not first".

"Well... who's first?" asked Phoebe.

Then the Angel of Death looked around and said one word that changed everything, "Prue".

CHAPTER FIVE

"Me?" asked Prue, "Why me? Why not Phoebe?"

"Hello?!?! Standing right here" said Phoebe, a little angrily.

"I don't choose who goes on or off the list the list just 'is'" replied Death.

"Wait, wait, wait. Is there anyway that Prue can get off that list? I mean, I felt like a lost her down there", said Piper, pointing at the ground, "I can't lose her for real this time".

"Well, it's not my decision. It's fate. Prue must die. I do not not know when or where it will happen but-". And then Death was cut off by a high pitch scream. It was Phoebe. Then a bang. Piper looked around and there was a girl who had climbed up to the window. She was holding a shot gun and Piper guessed she had just shot it. Then Prue fell to the ground.

"Ha! You bitches! I killed you once and for all! I shot you first", said the girl pointing at Piper, "now I shot your damned sister".

"Who the hell are you?" asked Phoebe.

"I think I know. Alice? What the hell do you think you're doing?" asked Piper.

I knew I had a wierd "deja vu" feeling! So I decided to cast a little Remembrance Spell. I remember everything and you mean witches wouldn't let me into your coven!"

"Oh my god! Leo! Leo come here!" screamed Phoebe. Next, Leo orbed in next to Phoebe, took a look at Prue and immediatley bent down and healed her. Piper got so pissed off she froze Alice.

"Piper what are you doing? You could've blown her up!" shrieked Phoebe.

"What do you think I was trying to do?" Prue sat up and chuckled while looking at death. His list had Prue's name disappeared and then it reappeared again.

"You cannot cheat death, Prudence" said the Angel of Death. Prue gave him her infamous sly smile. She leaned in and whispered into his hear.

"Really? I've got a healer and all you've got is a stupid list. So watch me cheat death. No wait, watch me cheat death five times. Because there is no way I am going to leave my sisters".

"Try and cheat this" said Shax. Then he blasted Prue through the attic door and Prue could feel herself falling down the stairs. She could feel the life slipping out of her...

CHAPTER SIX

"Prue!" screamed Piper and Phoebe running down the stairs. Leo orbed behind them and beat them down there. Thankfully, Prue was still breathing when he got there. He knealt down and healed her.

"Hey, big scary grey dude", said Piper, "Take this!" And with that, she rose her hands and blew him up. He blew up, but then reassembled. "Oh, no. Leo?"

"Right here. She's ok" said Leo.

"Evil wind that blows" said Prue, motioning for her sisters to join in.

"That which forms below" said Piper.

"No longer may you dwell" said Phoebe.

"Death takes you with this spell" chanted all three of them. Shax started to scream and then he blew up.

"Now that was a vanquish" said a voice on from the stairs.

"Alice you need to leave" said Prue

"And you need to shut your mouth" replied Alice.

"Ok that is it!" and with a wave of her hand, Alice was sent through the doors of the manor. Alice got up on the grass and screamed.

"I'll get you for this, Prudence Halliwell!" shrieked Alice. Then she picked up her shot gun and walked away.

"What the hell is up with that girl?" asked Phoebe.

"I don't know, but I got to go to work" said Prue.

"Wait? After you know you're going to die, you're still going to the magazine?" asked Phoebe.

"Um...yeah I think that's the plan. Look, Piper, whatever the cost is for the damages, I'll pay a third. Now I gotta go. I'll see you guys later". And with that, Prue walked out of the manor. Or what was left of it anyway.

"Well, I've got to go to the club. "Bif Naked" is playing at P3 tonight and I've gotta set up for them" said Piper, "Will you call the repair guy, Phoebe?"

"Which repair guy? For the walls, the clock, the stairs, the floors, the furniture?"

"Um...all of them. Or look and see if you can find a guy who does it all. Thanks!" answered Piper. Then she left too. 'Typical'. thought Phoebe, 'I'm the girl without a job so I'm stuck doing the chores'. So Phoebe picked up the phone and called the repair guy. He said he would be there in an hour (he was having a slow day). For some reason Leo was still there. Standing next to Phoebe.

"Hi, ya, I'm not the one destined to die" said Phoebe.

"I get it" said Leo. Then he orbed out and orbed into the passenger side Piper's car. But it wasn't moving. It was stopped in the middle of the road. The he saw Piper, on her knees in front of the car. There was another car a little further ahead. It had damage to the front of it. Enough to kill someone. And oddly enough it looked like Prue's car.

"Leo! Come hear" said Piper while Leo was getting out of the car. "She just came out of nowhere! Heal her!"

CHAPTER SEVEN

Piper was holding the person. Leo felt like it was taking forever to walk to Piper. He started to see the person's hair. It was blonde. Leo had a sigh of relief, but he kept running to Piper. The person was face down, it was female with blonde hair. She was wearing jeans and a shirt with flowers on it. Leo healed her and the girl sat up.

"Oh no", said Piper, "not you". Piper was wondering why Alice was driving Prue's car. "Did you steal my sisters car?"

"Yes. Now you witches won't be together because your beloved Prue is stuck at work" said Alice.

"Leo. Honey. You wanna do something about this? Or should I just blow up her body. Bit by bit" asked Piper. Leo nodded at Piper and grabbed Alice's hand. While she was fidgeting he orbed out. Not more than 2 minutes later he orbed back in. He explained that he orbed her to Canada. With that Leo drove Prue's car to the auto shop and Piper drove her car to P3.

Meanwhile, back at 415 Magazine, Prue was fending off a demon. First she used her telekinetic powers to send him into a wall. While he was getting up she ran under a desk and astral projected behind him.

"Yo loser, over here" said Prue. When the demon turned around she kicked him in the groin. The demon screamed in pain. Because Prue didn't know what demon he was, she had to make up a spell on the side. "Demon of rage, go and be caged. From now until forever, your skin will be used as leather" chanted Prue. All the skin then came off the demon and whatever was keft of the demon was zipped into the Underworld. Prue assumed he was put in a cage. All Prue had to say was 'ew'.

CHAPTER EIGHT

"I'm coming!" shouted Phoebe, walking toward the door. She opened it up, and saw the freakiest looking contractor she knew. Phoebe knew better to not be rude, so she invited him in. While shutting the door, she realized he had an assistant. She said she worked for social services and the insurance company sent her out to look at the place. The contractor explained that he could fix the house by the end of the week and it will cost about $5000. The girl said the insurance company can cover most of it. Phoebe looked at her; like she had seen her before. She had brown hair a little bit past her shoulders. Her eyes were kind of buldging out. But other than that she had a somewhat resemblance to Prue. Then Phoebe's cell phone rang. She motioned to the contractor to continue looking around, then she answered it.

"Phoebe? It's Prue."

"What's up?"

"I kind of had a... well... a witchy situation"

"Ok. I'll be there in 20 minutes"

"No bother to come. I some how skinned him and sent him back to the Underworld".

"Ok, but Prue, you have to be more careful", said Phoebe but then she whispered, "the Angel of Death has had no name change on the list". The girl looked over and Phoebe gave her a smile. The girl smiled back, and continued looking around taking notes. "Oh my god this girl is so nosy. Thank god you and Piper have some boundries. I mean I could never imagine having her as a sister". Then the girl started to walk toward Phoebe. "Gotta go. Bye!" said Phoebe quickly closing her phone.

"Hey. Miss Halliwell-". The girl was cut off my Phoebe.

"Oh, no, Miss Halliwell is my sister. Or my mom. I'm just Phoebe".

"Phoebe. Right. Anyway, I'm going to let the insurance company know everything, and then they'll let you know by Wednesday. If you have any questions, just give me a call. Cell number's on the back" said the girl handing Phoebe a card. Then the girl left. Phoebe held the card tight, then she got a premonition. It was the girl. She was walking forward. Then backward. The next 'scene' was Prue driving forward. Then backward. Then Piper was pouring a drink. Then the drink was going back into the bottle. Then the premonition was over. Phoebe looked at the card. All she focused on was this:

"I have absolutley no idea what that meant" thought Phoebe. Then the contractor walked in and asked if everything was alright. He said he had heard gasping. Like someone was choking. Phoebe just assured him that she has asthma and she just finished taking her inhaler. He nodded and walked back. "Whatever this premonition means", said Phoebe, "I have to stop it from happening".

CHAPTER NINE

"Prue. Pick up. C'mon. Pick up" said Phoebe, as the phone was ringing.

"Hey it's Prue. You know what to do".

"Hey, Prue? It's Phoebe. I just had the strangest premonition. First we were moving forward then backward. It was like someone hit the rewind on a VCR. Anyway... oops, that's my call waiting. Just call me back. Bye!" said Phoebe's message. "Yo" said Phoebe, after she pressed the call waiting button.

"Phoebe. I need you to come meet me at 415".

"Piper? What's wrong?"

"Prue is missing".

"Missing? Missing how?"

"Well she's not here. And there are burn marks on the ground".

"Oh. No, she just vanquished a demon earlier".

"And her purse is still here"

"Ooh, that's bad. She never forgets her purse. Just give me 20 minutes". Then Phoebe closed her phone. She walked half a mile to the nearest bus stop then took it to 415 Magazine. Piper was waiting out front and then both girls drove. They drove for hours until they gave up and when back to the manor. They walked in and were surprised to find Prue. She was flipping through a past issue of 415 Magazine. As soon as the door closed, Prue shot up and looked at them.

"Piper. I need your car. Now. I have to do a photo shoot that started five minutes ago". explained Prue.

"Ok. But I need to go to P3. Bif Naked is playing in half an hour".

"Hello? Prue is still on the Death radar?!?!" said Phoebe. Prue said she would stay out of trouble. And keep her phone on. Then all 3 girls got in Piper's car and drove off. "Hey guys. I met the wierdest person today. I feel like I know her. But I know I've never met her before" said Phoebe.

"Maybe you have. She's probably some girl who went to school with you" said Piper.

"Mmm, no. She was a social worker. Well, and assistant".

"Ok, so how do you know her?" asked Prue.

"I don't know. But she looked sorta like you, Prue". Then they stopped at P3. Prue dropped off Piper and Phoebe and drove away. 15 minutes later Bif Naked was playing and Piper was bar tending and Phoebe was flirting. Then Phoebe got bored so she sat down at the bar and started to talk to Piper. "Boys just aren't the same when your in love" said Phoebe.

"I'm not so sure" said Piper, "I still look at guys even though Leo and I are married. It doesn't hurt once in a while". Piper started to pour a drink. Then Phoebe got a feeling in a stomach. It was like getting the flu all over again.

"Piper is it just me or do you feel sick too?" asked Phoebe. But before Piper could respond. Something happened. Time started to turn back again.

"?oot kcis leef uoy od ro em tsuj ti si repiP" said Phoebe. The drink Piper was pouring was now going back from the cup into the bottle. At the same time, Prue started going in reverse on the highway. All the cars were. Then before anyone knew it, everything was going backwards. Leo unhealed Alice. He unhealed Prue. Prue fell up the stairs. The bullet came out of Prue's back. Alice climbed down the side of the house. The demons started to come back while the sisters were repeating the spells backwards. Time just went back and back until that morning. When Piper and Prue had just brought Dr. Griffiths into their home. Trying to explain to him that Shax was coming to kill him. No one remembered what had happened in the last couple hours.

"Look I know that this all sounds incredible but it doesn't make it any less true, alright? You're a healer, you do good! Now either you've saved too many lives or you're about to save a life that they don't want you to save", explained Prue.

"They?!?!" asked Dr. Griffiths.

"Yeah demons. More specifically, Shax. The Source's assasin" said Prue. She took a pause and looked around.

"What?" asked Piper.

"Nothing. I just felt a chill. Phoebe?" responded Prue. BOOM! The manor doors swung open. A gust of wind knocked down Piper and Prue. Shax's hand started to glow.

"No!" shouted Prue, getting up and pushing Dr. Griffiths away. Prue took the blast and it sent her through a wall. Shax's hand started to glow again. Then Piper got up ran in front of Dr. Griffiths. She took the blast and was sent through what was left of the wall Prue had been thrown through and landed right beside her. Shax lost interest in the girls quickly and turned his attention to Dr. Griffiths. Shax's hand started to glow for a third time.

Dr. Griffith's had a frightened look in his face. "What are you?" he asked.

Then Shax answered him: "The End". He let the blast go and sent Dr. Griffiths sliding along the dining room table straight through the window. Shax looked at the girls, then at the window before turning into the wind again and blowing away. Not before closing the manor doors and smashing the windows. About two minutes later, Leo orbed Phoebe and himself back up to the real world. They ran down the stairs and Leo started to heal them both... but only Piper woke up. Piper asked why Prue wasn't healing.

Leo responded, "Piper, I can't heal the dead".
