The Moon captured with my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W120 and a 7x50 monocular. Look at the size of those impact craters in the bottom of the moon. Makes you think about what would had happened if the Moon had not captured these astroids and they had continued to Earth.

To big a chicken to have over 37 millions of horse powers at my rear end, just to escape the gravity of Earth ;D Thats how much the 3 rocket engines delivers combined when leaving Earth. I'm just a hobby photographer

Thats a fantastic picture! We had a full moon the other night, which was orange. Really pretty to look at.

Thanks, it really amazing what you actually can do with such a small digital camera when you join it with a monocular. The picture is taken by using only the ISO setting.

Full Moon over Denmark, captured this morning. It also shows some really violent impacts on another side of The Moon.

The reason for my closeup is off cause that i took the picture threw my 7x50 monocular and set my Cyber-shot to 8x zoom. But you do need a very steady hand to take them, or else the picture will become nothing but a blur. Best is it if you have something to put the monocular on, so it stays steady.

Thanks ;D
I just wish my Cyber-shot had a bigger ISO, then i could capture stars also. Tried several times with different settings but sadly the images just become black.

WOW, last night we had PERFECT Moon weather, it was shining extremely bright, making it possible to capture it this extremely clear. Just look at those details.

Are you ready for a travel to another dimension ? A really cool picture of the moon shining threw the clouds, it looks like a wormhole that will take you to another dimension.
