I got a notice, in the mail today from the distributers of Charmed magazine, that issue #24 will be the last. They offer to move my subscription to another of the ones they print. So, now the show ended, the books ceased, and even the fan magazine is ending. Only one or two more issues left. I gather they realized there was not much more to write about or repeat again. Still, I liked some of the articles and each issue had at least one new piece of information about the show. What do you think? Sounds like the decision has been made but maybe some write in emails would help.

This month's (July) was the final issue of Charmed magazine. The same thing happened to Buffy/Angel. I am a fan of the magazine... I love the pictures and little articles about the sisters... it's a fun and fluffy magazine. It's too bad it's over. It's not all a loss, that'll save me $10 every other month.

In all fairness, my local Borders still had eight or so copies of issue #23 two months after its issuance. That's not happened before. If it ain't moving, oh well ....

Is there any way I can get back issues or something. I have been meaning to get a subscription ages ago but never got around to it. I'm building up a collection of Charmed.
And I haven't got 1 magazine yet. Someone help me please.

ebay, but be prepared to pay. These usually bid out at around $30 per issue.

Titan, the publisher, still should have back issues for the more recent ones. When I started my subscription, issues 1 - 4 were already out of print. They were expensive to acquire. Start with those that are still in print and get those first.

I don't understand why they kept the magazine running for longer than the paperback novels.

The books and the magazine are owned by two different organizations, so their ending at different times is not connected. You can get some back issues from Titan, the publisher, but not the early ones, #10 and ealier. Those will cost you $$ on ebay, but the others can be gotten for their normal cover costs per issue.
I may be putting them up on ebay myself, as I have all of them and all the books.
I may wait a little while, to see if a movie deal is possible, but eventually I will sell them.

I know how you feel. I was so surprised when they decided to end the novels as they were providing, mostly, interesting stories and helped keep the characters alive and doing new things (even if in the past). I'm presuming the market was drying up. In the book timeline, they were working their way through season 5 or six when they cut off, jumping to six months after Charmed Forever in the final book published, Trickery Treat.
As for the magazine; well, there's just so much they write about the stars of the show, the supporting cast, recurring characters, one time appearance roles, the directors and writers, etc.
