Hey everyone! I'm a major Youtube addict and for some reason I love to make TV openings (you know the credits...) anyway... I've been toying with the idea of a Catwoman television series. Obviously not based on the Batman Returns character or the AWFUL Halle Berry character but the comic character. I've thought of the perfect characters to bring in that would fit in the Catwoman world.
I've chosen Rose McGowan to play investigative reporter Vicki Vale who is determined to discover the true identity behind the elusive cat burglar Catwoman. I've also picked Elizabeth Rohm (of Law & Order fame) to play Sergeant Sarah Essen. She's the head of the Major Crimes Unit of Gotham PD and she's determined to bring in every costumed crook out there... including Catwoman.
My only problem is that I can't find a perfect Catwoman! I know a lot of people are saying Angelina Jolie is a possibility for the third movie but quite frankly she's not Selina Kyle.
I picture this series as somewhat of a film noir-type thing with a touch of Alias. The character herself comes from a broken home (the worst you can imagine) and grew up on the streets. She steals to survive. She's a modern-day Robin Hood... who forgets to give back to the poor. By night she's Catwoman... but by day she's the charming and intelligent socialite.
My two top choices at the moment are Eliza Dushku (not sure if she can be soft and gentle) and Rosario Dawson (she's excellent to me but people are up in arms with the fact that she's not white).
So... who should I pick to be Catwoman/Selina Kyle?!
