Here are the first couple chapters' of my new fan-fiction based around Piper & Leo!!!
Feeling Down
Distance voices rang in Paige's ears as charges clinged against each other in her battered mind," Ah make it stop!" She said rubbing her temples with her middle and index fingers'. Phoebe smiled as she poured herself a cup of coffee. She looked up at the distraught Paige and giggled softly.
"Sweetie, you need to help your charges when they call..." Phoebe retrieved a spoon and some sugar from the cupboard and steadily walked over to the kitchen table. Paige opened her eyes and stomped over to the table as well.
" I would if they wouldn't all cling together like that... I plan on being a great whitelighter, but god these voices are annoying..." Paige said with anger and frustration built in her voice. Phoebe sipped at her sugar filled and stirred coffee mug. Paige rolled her eyes," I'll be back, If you need me ring my cellphone I don't need anymore voices in my head!" Paige said orbing out. Piper stepped into the kitchen. Her bare feet made the cold floor send a chill uip her spin. She seen orbs, but knew it wasn't Leo. She noticed Phoebe sitting at the table by herself and knew it must have been Paige.
" Where'd Paige go?" Piper asked walking over to the coffee maker. She opened the above doors which revealed a wooden shelf. She removed her favorite white coffee mug and began to pour the coffee into the cup slowly, she was waiting for her younger sister to answer her. Phoebe looked up at Piper as she entered. Phoebe softly sat down her cup and listened to Piper. She could hear in Piper's voice that she had wished the orbs' would have been Leo, but yet knew it was Paige. Phoebe gave a slight frown then decided to answer the now waiting Piper.
" Oh, she had to go and try and sort out all of the voices from her charges in her head... how you doing sweetie? " Phoebe asked as she removed her reading glasses from the table and placed them across her eyes. She read the paper till Piper drifted toward her and took a seat beside her.
" Not good, this Leo leaving then coming back then leaving thing is starting to get to me... " Piper announced with sadness in her voice. Phoebe laid down the newspaper and looked up at her sadened elder sister. She now completely frowned.
" Oh Honey it will get better, the Elders' will let him stay the next time, I promi..." Phoebe was cut off as Piper began to speak.
" No, it isn't, you always say it will and it just get's worse, don't ever promise me something if you know it isn't going to really come true..." Piper said with annoyance in her voice. Phoebe nodded. Lately Leo had been sent back then taken back, and Piper had been getting really down about it. Phoebe hated seeing Piper the way she is and she always said the same thing, but on the inside she knew she couldn't promise anything. All Phoebe could do was nod at her sister and pray that everything would be alright.
" Well I'm sorry sweetie, I really am, but I have to go to work, go buy yourself something, maybe that'll take your mind away from things!" Phoebe said standing and finishing her coffee. Piper nodded.
" I'll try, but I don't think it'll work..." Piper said as Phoebe and her both stood and hugged. Phoebe rubbed Piper's hair softly trying to comfort her.
" Let's just try and continue our lives like normal..." Phoebe whispered as Piper nodded. Phoebe looked up at the ceiling as if saying, Please let Leo come back and stay for good, Piper stared across the room and closed her eyes letting a tear fall. Phoebe and her pulled away. " I'll be home in a few hours, if you need me just call me at work... Love you bye..." Phoebe said walking away as Piper waved and nodded.
" Love you to bye..." Piper looked down at the ground then turned. She pushed the chairs back under the table and began to clean up the kitchen." Maybe cleaning will take my mind off of things'." She whispered to herself quietly. She then began to clean.
Finding The Demon
Climbing through an old building, Paige Matthews pushed her black hair out of her face. She looked around and noticed a doorway, but it looked like it had would nailed over it. She gave a sideways look at it as she walked over to it steadily. She had helped most the charges and now there was this last charge that was panicing. She tried to see between the woods cracks, but they were nailed to closely together," Jenny... Are you in there... it's Paige..." She waited for an answer and she heard a knocking against the would. Then suddenly a sharp high pitched scream of terror burst from the room. Paige's eyes grew wide as she tried to cover her ears'. She squinted her eyes in fear and pain. As the noise began to calm she opened them once again. " It's ok Jenny I'm coming... Uhh... Boards!" She shouted as they all disappeared in orbs. She waved her hand off to the side and watched them land onto the ground. She then inched into the room. She looked around, but seen no one. She gave another sideways yet confused look. Cold breezes washed behind her. Her spine tingled as she turned around she viewed her charges spirit. It pointed to the ground at it's body. The body was bleeding from the head and stomach. Paige was shocked, but made herself move. She rushed over and began healing. The spirit began to rise, but finally began to be sucked back into the body, that's when the blood began disappearing, but a slimy hand sat on Paige's shoulder. Just as she finished healing her charge, the hand pulled down hard against Paige's shoulder. Cuts' revealed on Paige's shoulders blood seeped out. Paige screamed in pain, but quickly stood. She turned around to view the beast. It was huge and was black. She knew she couldn't handle this one on her own, so she just walked over to Jenny and orbed the both of them to the manor. Paige and Jenny arrived in the living room. " Take a seat on the couch, I have to find my sisters'..." Paige said as Jenny sat down. Jenny had been Paige's charge for a few days' so she knew the sisters' well. Paige was knew to this whole whitelighter things and Jenny was her first charge. It's only been 5 days since Paige became a full whitelighter, so it is a little hard trying to work her healing power. Paige rushed through the manor," Piper!!! Phoebe!!!!" Paige yelled loudly." Where are they?" Paige asked herself.
Piper was standing in a line at Macy's. She had with her a bunch of clothes and some other treats to take her mind off Leo. She was lucky enough to get to the counter just in time with Paige calling. She pulled out her phone and answered it," Hey Paige, Checking in?" She asked as she began handing the lady all the stuff she had collected throught the store. Paige's voice seemed nervous and frightened.
" No, I was after my last charge, Jenny, and wells he nearly died, there's some big demonic thing after her..." Paige said pacing the area in front of the staircase.
" Well have you checked the book? " Piper asked as she paid the cashier.
" Not yet, but I need you to get a hold of Phoebe and both of you need to get home as soon as possible ok..." Paige said frustrated yet again.
" Ok... we'll be home soon, bye..." Piper hung up as Paige was just saying bye.
" Bye..." She then glanced into the living room to see a very scared Jenny sitting on the couch. She crossed the flooring into te living room." My sisters' should be home soon, you want to come up into the attic with me and help me find whatever it was, in the book?" Paige asked as Jenny nodded and followed Paige into the attic.
Phoebe was finishing her column and emailing it the editors of the paper as her phone rang." Yea, Put her through...What's up Piper?" Phoebe asked removing her reading glasses and putting them on her desk.
" Paige is at the manor with Jenny and needs us both to come home now..." Piper said as she grabbed the bags and left the store. She then began walking to her jeep.
" Um... ok I just finished up here so I will be home in a few minutes ok..." Phoebe said standing up. She flicked off her computer screen and began to clean up her desk.
" Ok... I'll be home soon to, let's just not get attacked by this thi... AHHH!" Piper screamed as she closed the jeep door. The same thing that had attacked Jenny and Paige was standing now in front of Piper.
" Piper what's wrong... Piper?" Phoebe heard a dead line as the phone fell onto the ground and busted. Piper was frozen in fear as she looked at it. She shook the fear off and tried to freeze him. He froze for a few seconds, but then unfroze. She flicked her hands and he was barely hit, but he screetched that high pitched scream. Piper covered her eyes and squeezed her eyes shut. The demon then disappeared. Piper opened her eyes and as soon as she could move she jumped into the Jeep, turned on the key, and black marked towards' the manor. Phoebe was already home when Piper arrived. The manor door was still open as Piper raced through it. She closed it and laid against it trying to catch her breathe.
" Piper must be home, We're in the attic!!! "Phoebe said as she looked at Paige. Paige was flipping furiously through the pages of the ancient book. Piper heard her sister Phoebe and raced up the steps. She entered the attic with bottled up fear still racing through her. Phoebe looked at the entering Piper and gave a blank look," Honey what's wrong?" Phoebe asked walking over to Piper. Piper looked at Phoebe.
" That demon Paige was talking about attacked me at Macy's parking lot!" Piper said adjusting her shirt to a comforting level. She looked at Phoebe as Phoebe gave a serioues look.
" How did you get away?" She asked staring at her sister.
" I tried to blow him up a bunch of times, he finally disappeared..." Piper pushed some of her hair behind her ears." He did some sorta high pitched screaming that nearly busted my eardrums..." Piper rubbed her ears as Phoebe rubbed her back. Paige suddenly slammed her hand down on the book.
" Ah, Ha, I found him!" Paige said smiling as she looked up at her two sisters' and glanced at Jenny in the far corner...
