Your Dream "Charmed: The Movie"

Without reading all the posts, I think the first issue is rather simple:
Do we want a continuation of the family story or do we want a 2-hour demon battle with no other reasoning for the movie to exist?

I think the TV series has already exhausted all of the past story it can come up with. And as for the future--well, that's just too much of an unknown to play with.
This gives us a present-day story. But what is it about? That's where the problem lies.

Witch Hunt, New Evil threat! That sounds fun!!! IMO I will make my movie version a 2 Hr 30 min. Run. I think its enough for the Action and so on.

About the roots of Magic, Well I'll add another thing that the New Evil Witch/Sorceress was also of a Warren Bloodline a cursed One, that was kept secret of course I like an Villain that would give the sisters a stretch of power/magic and battle. Someone as strong as Charmed Ones as well, Since the day she was born she was guided by an evil outcast witch who died as she grew up and told her about her bloodline as well, since then she worked very discreet and planned everything carefully. And she has superb witch abilities which made her an absolute master of a Witchcraft and finally she was able to unlock a great Warren Power 'The Hollow Eyes" an eyes that can summon the Hollow and controlled it like a pet. But to be able to do that she has to kill her fellow Warren witches or take their eyes especially a first born one. That's why she's seeking Prue.. (she could revive her for awhile using forbidden Magic) then pluck her eyes.

But as I've said since the four sisters reunited in this story.. there would be many past revelations to be told about their very roots secrets would unfold. Most specifically I would like to focus on the Witchcraft both the good and dark sides. Something that will teach and give new experience to Prue, Piper, Phoebe and Paige.

With this type of Villain It would be a real deal "WITCH versus WITCH"

I think witch versus witch is really the best way to go considering they've done the whole demon thing. I was even playing around with the idea that evil is really able to create the "Evil Power of Three" and therefore by adding Prue back into the mix they have "The Power of Four".

I also like that idea of the hollow eyes... that's pretty cool and creative. Although, I think 2h30 would be a tad too long. Sex and the City was about that long and even though I loved it... it still felt kind of long.

Is there a general consensus that a Charmed Movie is only possible with Shannen's return? I think it's really what would propel fans and non-fans to watch. After all, they've tuned in to see SD take up the role of Brenda again.

I think the reason people want Shannen is because they know that Kern couldn't be part of it.

BTW I *love* these scenarios! They sound *SO* cool! Even if I passionately hate the idea of the Power of Four almost as much as I passionately hate the idea of the Twice-Blessed Child (and male at that) or the The Three-Threes or Thuperwitch, all more powerful than the Power of Three, it sounds like something the movie would do...make it BIGGER than the series. If Paige still has the power to move things with her mind, Prue can't have it; she'd have to have something else...like being the sisters' new guardian (not whitelighter..Prue would never agree to do what the Elders tell her to do or to respond to their annoying jingles).

I wonder how Prue would come back... it'd be a cop out to do a whitelighter or even as reincarnated. She physically can't become real again (i.e. get her old life back) because obviously people would be wondering how the hell she came back from the dead... of course this is unless the girls come out of the broom closet.

They can also manipulate the story so Prue/Paige can still have their powers... mind you... Paige would still be powerful even without her Charmed powers.

Kern would definitely not be coming back... he can shove it for half the things he did. And if having a Charmed movie with Shannen and not Alyssa... okay... sounds good they can make it so that Phoebe died and not Prue. The good thing about doing a movie after this long is that they can play with it. It can be "based" on Charmed and not exactly a direct continuation. Who knows...

if prue did come back as herself and the girls came outta the broom closet, then ppl would want them to bring their loved ones back...so i dont think it is a good idea for her to come back as a human...but a whitelighter would be good...she could even be the charmed ones whitelighter!

I don't see why Prue would suddenly lose her telekinesis if she was brought back as a ghost or corporeal spirit. Grams has retained her telekinesis when her granddaughters have temporarily resurrected her. Patty probably had her temporal stasis when she was resurrected, too.

If Prue was brought back from the dead for a visit, she wouldn't be a Charmed One again -- she'd still technically be dead. There'd be no "Power of Four."

Thinking of it, let them deal with the one subject that they never had dealt with on Charmed: The Holidays
Let them do some nice Christmas vanquishes.
Thinking of Piper and her love for her sons, nothing would get her more on the edge than some demon disrupting their Christmas and ruining it for baby Wyatt and Chris.

They could do it like Sex and the City where they celebrate every freaking holiday in the movie For anyone who's actually seen the amazingness that is Sex and the City: The Movie, they'd realize how odd it is to see a movie pass over such a long period of time (they celebrate New Year's, Halloween and Valentine's Day... maybe Christmas too but I can't remember).

A Christmas special might be nice as a TV reunion. They could call it "Seasons of Charmed" (like the Rent song...)

About Prue coming back from the dead, hmm.. I knew it would raise many questions... but considering she was revived to assist the sisters in their battle against this New Evil Threat they really need some power boost, plus don't forget the chaos that Witch Hunt will do if it mixes with the ongoing chaos. But the sisters would not need to come out of the closet.. Prue on the other hand could use some disguise or something to hide herself awhile just to protect her sisters from exposure... I think. Anyway while on the way of figuring out how to defeat their new foe.. the sisters will discover new about their magical roots and Prue would come up with something.

This is my last scenario of my version of "Charmed The Movie"

On the final encounter, (battlefield will be Mountain regions)all four sisters Injured battling this Evil Witch who by that time is now full control of The Hollow. Now through the run of the show the sisters manage to gain a magic that can make them face the Hollow at least for awhile and their chance is very slim so they need to vanquish their foe so fast, but it's not that easy, then recite a spell that will seal the Hollow back, and they came up with that, only problem is the evil witch is so strong. But then they device a plan to trick her one sister would be a decoy, in that case it's Prue, she happens to gt a close range fight against the evil witch and strangled her with her TK but the enemy kept resisting, its then Piper, Phoebe and Paige recites a spell to seal the hollow back and Prue recites a final line to boost it up but its not enough. She raises her right hand and prepared a final Magic to end this battle.

This time she chant another spell a Summoning one! She summoned The Angel of Death (like DTAH) but different as this time its for offense. AOD appears and told her this is forbidden you know the cost. (Christopher Shea's face morphs into the classic Grim Raper holding a scythe) Prue in full mode to her TK to hold the evil witch as death swings it's blade, ripping her soul and seal it through eternal torment. On the other hand Prue turned back to her sisters there was a flash back of Piper, Phoebe and Paige. She smiled and said "I love you all, I'm sorry I have to go again". Sure the her three sibling were crying and screaming. After that a golden swirl and blue lights engulf her. The Hollow out of the Evil Witch, blown to the sky and vanish and was sealed back.

Next scene would be Piper crying hard holding Prue's dead body, Phoebe and Paige also crying while embracing their eldest sister who sacrifice her life again. The End.

As for the Spell Prue did .. its one of a forbidden magic to summon the Angel of death, if you did it for offense you can only use it once becoz in exchange is your soul and you can never walk the land of the living again.

I go along with Esmeralda I think for the the movie the last part of Forever Charmed never happened. Coop and Phoebe never got together because Coop and Billie were Killed by a ressurected Cole. Cole was resurected by Christie who was then killed by Cole. She thought through knowledge of the triad that Cole knew the sisters better than anyone trying to get information ressurected him and only brought back his evil side. But by doing this he killed her. This is in the background that we found out later. Phoebe in the battle is in a coma and Paige trying to orb to Phoebe defense was sent to some plane and is stuck there. The Elders tells Leo what has happened. Cole goes tho underworld to revive it now that the triad had been defeated Piper calls for help from the Halliwells from the book of Shadows. From the call comes Prudence Melinda from the past and Prudence Melinda from the future and Prue her sister.

I was looking for a post and found this thread. I found it so much fun that I decided to bump it forward and see what our newer members might want for "Charmed: The Movie".

A movie with different actresses playing the leads which explains the pieces in between 3x22 and 4x01 - and more that we didn't know happened. e.g. there was another time reversal attempt etc. or the Seer's being involved way before Charmed and Dangerous.

-Shows Prue's struggles transitioning in the afterlife with Andy and Mom and Grams.

-Shows how Phoebe and Cole escaped from the underworld with Leo.

-Shows that Prue was pregnant from the "Look Whos Barking Now" and the child's spirit went into the womb of another mother who had just lost her child? And that's why Prue and Piper were able to vanquish Shax in 3x22 with a Power of Three?

-Shows how Paige inadvertently helped with Phoebe's grief/guilt which is why she is so put together in Charmed Again.

-Shows Piper also about move on or in limbo with the Doctor and how she inadvertently saved a whole heap of his patients which is why they were supposed to save the doctor in the first place?

-Shows Piper and Phoebe actually saying goodbye to Prue when she moves on and Leo's guilt/grief as losing a charge.

-Shows what news travelled throughout the underworld and 'up there'.

-Also - what other witches did at the time - like blessings etc. that helped make Pipers call to witch spell work with Spell work i.e.: What the Oracle saw "I see a witches call in the spirit winds... I see another".

-The elders trying to decide and interfere on which sister should die and seeing those Elders who were for, and those against Piper and Leos union and the prophecy of a twice blessed child? - the emergence of Gideon.

-An attempt of the next generation casting a spell to come back or understand what happened during that time or understand how they can vanquish Tempus? It is also around the same time as September 11, 2001 which is an interesting setting in history to travel back to.

-Shax being rewarded and having a victory ceremony and Tempus being vanquished by perhaps all three sisters somehow or the future generation?

-Has many flashbacks to their childhood as kids and what made their bond so special.

-A scene between Victor and Andy telling him that he'll look after his daughter - and maybe a flashback to Victor playing baseball/football with Andy?

The above are just some ideas but its not a prequel or sequel its a interquel.
