Had this happening to me also a couple of times that i had videos removed because of the copyrights thing, but that also just proofs that they are pretty copyrights strict. Why i still am allowed to have others up there, i don't know. But i do know though that they have changed their music copyrights rules now, people in the U.S are now forced to watch commercials when watching music videos on Youtube and they send infos about who many watches them to the record label who owns the music.
My video with Depeche Mode has been put under this new rule, even though i changed the music in it to a remixed bootleg version. But since it still contains the original video to the track Precious, they nailed it with a copyright rule.

That's correct Nicholas, it all depends on how many is uploading there. There more that is uploading, the slower the conversion goes from your uploaded format to their FLV format. Best format to use for uploading is actually Divx, because its smaller in file size.
You can't force the videos into HQ your self Nicholas, that's totally up to Youtube's converter if it wants to make it HQ also. I think it has to do with aspect ratio (4:3 or 16:9) when uploading and if the video itself when uploaded already was HQ. If video also has been created into HQ, then the "watch in high quality" choice also shows up underneath the video screen.

You need a video converter, Alysha. Normally i use TMPGEnc 4.0 Xpress, its both an editor and converter. Not freeware, but it does a real good job. You can get it as a 14 days trial version though: tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/te4xp.htmlIts very easy and simple to use.

Alysha:
BTW, i can tell you the size difference of the file size i got out of it with the Charmed Trek II i created. I always work in full DVD quality before i do the final conversion so: Finished DVD-MPG: 168Mb Final Divx: 32,5Mb
When converting to Divx with TMPGEnc 4.0 Xpress, there is some minor settings you have to be aware of, so you get the final Divx in excellent quality:
On the first Divx setting page, make sure they are set this way: Encoding Mode: Basic mode Profile: Home theater (DivX DVD player) Level: High quality (High level) Now push: Select
Now you enter the second setting page for your Divx conversion. The folder named Video: Level: High quality (High level) Size: Depends about the source file if it is widescreen or fullscreen, you can also just use the setting it already chose for you. Aspect ratio: Pixel 1:1 Framerate: 25 fps (Interlace) Performance: Best quality Rate control mode: Multipass
Now its just to choose Encode and there choose where you want your Divx to be created to and choose the film reel botton (Start encode).
After conversion is over you end up with a file that has a file type called .divx You safely can rename the file type to .avi if you want to. Then Youtube also understands the file better.

OK cool thanks hansemand your a legend !! Well my video still hasnt uploaded, should I just delete it and try it in divx? Keep the original file for now and try converting it to Divx and then try with the Divx instead. Just know that Youtube loves Divx (.avi) more than other formats. Thats why i never use other formats at their place, usually i never have more than 1-2 processing hours on Youtube. Correct that, the Divx video i just uploaded there was ready after just 15 minuttes.

There are no other places that the settings are that I can see??

The XP-Pro just allows you to manipulate XP more than the standard Home Edition that used to come with home computers. In XP-Pro i can shut off several items that normally runs in the background and by that start XP faster, access programs faster and have full throttle on my processor and RAM always. It does also cost almost twice of what Home Edition costs

Ok, so I was watching some 10 year tributes to charmed and I ame across this one I though this was really well done!!! Like the effects etc! The idea behind it was great also, but some bit are a bit choppy and changy too much for my liking..but overall I though it was really well done! I wonder what program this person uses??
