While we know all of the Halliwell family members were dead, what about Victors side of the family? His mom and dad? Brothers and sisters (if he had any). Does anyone else wish they wouldve introduced some of his family members into the show.
It wouldve been great to see Grams interact with Victors mom or dad.

Interesting thought. Remember Piper describing their family at the beginning of the series:
She had to be be talking about a cousin and an aunt on Victor's side--the aunt could've been Victor's sister or sister-in-law. It would've been interesting meeting them, but I wonder if that would've meant hanging on to the original Victor. No, thanks! I like James Read a *lot* better!

I agree, James Reed IS Victor. I try to forget TYFNM.
All the talks of families....... I get that the premise is Three Sisters Who Happen To Be Witches, but even THAT does not mean they have to show every other family member. This show is about magic and innocents. That's the focus.
I mean, this may be because I've seen the entire show and my views of the show would completely change if we had so many more family members shown. We'd get all these exess people, and I don't understand how they would really fit in with the show.

If Victor wasnt close to any oen on his side of the family all they had to do was say so. But other then that, it wouldve been nice to know if Victors mom/dad cared about their grandchildren. |

You almost wonder if Victor's side of the family knew there was something strange about the Halliwells and didn't have anything to do with them. His parents might have held the fact that they were Halliwells and not Bennetts against them...

I guess these are Victor's family members. I wished we meet them, and we meet Paige's family. The sisters were so isolated and had nobody but Victor. I would of liked to have meet them. Not regulars, but I really would of liked to have seen other family members showing up for birthdays, weddings and holidays once or twice a season.
Maybe Victor's sister who I assume is the aunt they mentioned could also add her own perspective on her nieces being witches, and also learn more about Victor's background.

It's part of why *if* they were going to do a reboot in the 1970's if they'd had it be in the Halliwells' past instead BEFORE Patty got married - Grams, Patty, Victor, Sam, Grams' coven... And getting to meet other members of the family on both sides of the family. A lot more fun than having the show be called Charmed, but not be about the Halliwells.
And although I don't think it's been enough time for someone else to play the sisters, I wonder what fans would think of someone else playing these characters if Jennifer, Finola, James and Scott couldn't do it.
What would really make it fun would be if we could see Grams' mother - played by Holly - and her Grams' Aunt Phoebe (Patty's favorite aunt, even if it's her great-aunt) - played by Shannen! And Victor's manic sister...played by Alyssa!

Ohh, I would love a series dear in the 70s on the Halliwell's past, but if and only if *is* before Patty got married. I also wouldn't want the series to dive further when the sisters are born and are kids.

It would be great to see how they handle themselves before the charmed ones came about. I wouldn't more than five seasons to keep it fresh, consistent and the timeline in tact.
They could show Patty as a hippy, meeting Sam, telling Victor she's a witch, ext...

Maybe in the flashback scenes and their funeral in season eight or possibly off-screen characters that are regularly brought up? I love the idea of them being in non-magical subplots or even as innocents though. |
