*sighs* I'm really not liking Kristen and Rob as Bella and Edward. Their voice seems emotionless to me. They don't see to have the passion.
Whatever. I'm gonna watch the movie and hopefully it all put together will be better.

will watch it in a sec, i brought the series on a recent holiday and im almost up to breaking dawn. love it
edited to add now ive seen it i so want to see it now LOL i bet it will be just as good as the book was.

I am not ENTIRELY sold on Rob as edward...(but then again i don't think any actor could ever play the perfect representation of Edward)
But i think Kirsten will be an awesome Bella. She does not come off as weak. it would be so easy to have bella stereotyped as this naive innocent weak thing, but Kirsten gives her some inner strength, and holds her own on the screen.
On a side note, I am IN LOVE with the crew who are making this movie. In every interview i have seen or read, Katheryn Hardwick looks super psyched and really trying to have the movie as an accurate representation of the book.
so thumbs up to her!

^ I agree Pubsey! That's exactly it, Robert is decent enough for playing Edward and no one will ever fit his charcter as described in the books! But with todays modern technology they could animate the eyes, the skin and some other apects Meyer wrote for Edward.
Kristen is absoutly great for this role! I saw her in one of her older movies Zathura I beieve its the Jaminaji for outer space. I watched a couple scenes thinking it was Stewart but not sure and my friend, who i was with at the time, said she would make a good Bella, and after a big scene with her in it, I said "Because it is!"
I'm am physiced for the rest of the cast too. all the Cullens look as described the only ones taht didn't, in my mind, were Carisle and Jasper..but that is probably just me.
the director, as seen on interviews, is trying to accuretly transform the book into a movie. Some quotes are even used right, or at least in teh same context...Like in the aforementioned trailer, the "No comic books, Im not superman with kyrpotiniate..."or sometihng like that, and then he goes "What if not the hero, what I'm the bad guy?" But in the book (edward) had said after one of her "therories" "Kyrptonite doesn't bother me either"
I'm looking forward to movie!

Charm1d and pubesy, I really don't buy Rob as Edward neither but sometimes when you audition for a role they look for someone to play the character well, not someone that looks like it. Although with the great make-up and technology we have this days it would've been a lot easier to try to make him fit for the real Edward. As Kirsten, I absolutly love her for Bella and I think she goes with the character perfectly. For me she is the Bella described in the books  |

lol.... i know that! ( and Rob is growing on me. and when i see him act...it is very believable)
