Happens a lot. I spotted Madonna's last album on the internet 4 months before it was released. It was posted under the first name the album had been given: Licorice. But as you know, when it reached the stores it was called: Hard Candy
Same deal with Depeche Mode's album Playing The Angel and a lot of other albums. The reason is because there is a leak within the music industry itself that can't be stopped.
I must honestly say that when it comes to Hannah Montana, i have no feelings about it, but that is totaly because i don't listen to her music, its not within the styles of music i listen to.

It's not just songs either. It happened with Midnight Sun (Twilight, Edward's perspective).

Midnight Sun is COMPLETELY different.
Britney Spears' last album (Blackout) was leaked, I believe. And they ended up releasing it early.
As for Hannah Montana's album. Honestly, I don't care. I hate her.
BUT, it's not right. The artist's and their people release singles for a reason, to make you interested and show that they're doing something..and then you can buy the album when it comes out. There's an order to this, and it should be followed.
