Which character would be best on their own

Holly definitely has the skills, but unless they changed Piper to a totally different character, if you don't include her sisters or her sons or her husband, we'd have to listen to her whine about not having them and not having her normal life or she wouldn't be Piper. That would get very boring very quickly, which is why I would prefer her having a cooking show and a totally different *NORMAL* family at home - with her being normal, too, so she wouldn't have any reasons to b*tch and whine. And I don't think anyone wants to see Piper without her powers, so throw out Piper as a choice.

Someone besides one of The Charmed Ones (Kyra is still my choice) still makes the most sense.

I love the idea of a Melinda spin-off. But yeah, I definitely agree, we'd need Connie Burge heading it, without Kern.

I could definitely see Cole having his own show, had Charmed not messed up his story. Almost like we have to pick which version of the Cole story we'd have to have. And, the only logical pick would be prior to the events of S3.

Get a little bit more backstory on his parents.

His time as an assassin demon. This could cover his deal with the Triad, the Brotherhood, the time he killed Emma's husband (S4E8 "Black as Cole"), etc.

I don't see his show being done, any other way.

The only "tidbit" we could possibly get from "Limbo Cole" is how he was able to "send in" the Thorn Demons to infect Piper, and how he befriended Drake to "save Phoebe". I don't even think he's in Limbo, considering how he was able to "sand shimmer" (if you will) to and away from Drake. Perhaps, he still IS alive and decided to finally leave Phoebe, alone? IDK, "Limbo Cole" doesn't make any sense, but I digress.

I don't see any other character but Cole able to have a successful "Spin-Off". Except, MAYBE Wyatt & Chris to be the ORIGINAL Supernatural plotline, but I digress.

I think a Cole's show would also work at the end of Witches Tail part 2. Having a Cole prequel, while fun. It ruins the experience because we know how his story ends. But if it's done after WT Part 2 and ignore the rest it could work. And Cole's character would not be bound by any restriction. If they had made this show, the potential would be very high. Especially when you take that at the time the success of Angel spin off from Buffy.

While true, Cole had over 100 years of "being evil". There's so much history behind Cole's story beyond just what the show told us. They can even make up more situations he was involved in.

Had Cole and Phoebe parted on amicable terms post Witches Tail with them both admitting how they weren't meant to have gotten together in the first place and that what happened in the second half of season 4 was both their fault and they divorced still Cole could've transferred to another city which had the same law firm he currently worked at and done what he mentioned to Phoebe originally in using the powers he got from the Wasteland to help others which a spin-off could've chronicled but then we kind off got that with Angel anyway then.

I would love to see a spin-off of Cole, Drake, and Kira in another city, and much like the Charmed Ones, trying to live their normal lives while also having powers and saving innocents on the side. Maybe it could be set up in such a way that it's an alternate reality where none of them came in contact with the sisters, or did just briefly, and of course they'd all survive and move on to do this new story. Maybe they could all work together in a small detective agency, solving non-magical crimes while also solving magical ones in secret. 

It would be a fun mix of Cole, the serious one; Drake, the one who was a balance of fun and knowing when that had to be put aside; and Kira, the fun-loving one who was a bit sarcastic at times.

Precisely why I like the idea of a prequel.

You even have people advocating for a Melinda Warren spin-off. Not sure what kind of "new story", you can build on that besides a prequel.

Cole can be done the same way.

An anthology series would work perfectly exploring different periods of time. One season starring Melinda, one starring Cole, another starring Drake and another starring Patty and Grams etc.

That would be interesting with each season jumping to a completely different period.

It reminds me that we've already seen Shannen, Holly, Rose, Alyssa and Brian play their past lives. So you could recycle the cast each season playing somebody else here and there.

I do think Charmed had enough history left unexplored.

That would be interesting seeing past Warren and Halliwell's lives and what happened in them per season starting from Melinda and moving on to her daughter Prudence then Cassandra and going on further with Brianna then Astrid and Helena past the three cousins through to Penny and Patty finally before the sisters.

I'm sure there were some black sheep members of the family we didn't know about ourselves of course.

Left on their own? 

Cole, especially after Season 4, in which he receives his fathers soul, Phoebe and him have a break up scene and then he tries to figure out how to live as a reformed demon. 

Kyra, who becomes a psychic witch and moves into the apartment that Prue and Piper owns in season one with clothes that the Charmed Ones give her. 

Ava, the Gypsy who is essentially a travelling doctor healing other Gypsies.
