Phoebe and Coop

Well, with two episodes left, I thought I better 'catch up' with Pheebs, and do a Phoebe/Coop drawing (it looks like he'll be her ultimate soulmate).

Sorry I haven't been posting more, but I'm in my 'busy season' as an artist, now, and I'm not getting as much free time...especially as my boss has had to reduce his workload...

Really cool drawing. May I ask you how you do it? Is it handdrawing or PC work?

Hand-drawn...I start with a pencil sketch from a photo, fill in the darkest areas and details with fine and extra fine black Sharpies, and colored markers, 'flesh out' the middle skin and hair tones in colored pencil, do a wash over them with watercolor, then finish up with block chalk (using a glove), to smooth the entire drawing out, a bit. I try to work 'small', since the process can take a few hours (most of the drawings I've posted are 8 1/2 X 11 or smaller, on index card stock paper).

I try to work from as good a source photo as I can find, especially when drawing couples...when I found the 'Coop' photo, with that smile and eye position, it just 'lent' itself to a Phoebe picture! Pheebs is the hardest of the sisters to draw (with her ever-changing eyebrows and hairstyles, full lips, and thin oval face), but this one 'works', as her expression compliments Coop's very well, I think!

Thank you for explanation. I really appreciate that. I saw your drawings erlier at one of czech fan forum. So, nice to meet you, Artist :-) You really thing that Alyssa is hardest to draw? I´m going to draw Cole as soon as I find the perfect picture. Julian doesn´t have many promos from Charmed and screenshoots are in bad quality, and his personal promophotos are not what I am looking for. If you know of some cool picture of him, half face in dark and not smiling, let me know. Thank you in advance.
