Normally you can see weird things on the streets every day, but i have to say that what i saw today tops it all. I have this interest in looking at cars and their license plates, just to see which countries they come from. In Denmark we can spot cars from all over Europe, but today i saw a license plate i never ever have seen before, so i took a closer look. It had Californian license plates. Now how often do you my fellow European members spot a car in your town/country that has American license plates on them ? Did a little googeling and found it, it was this type of license plates it had Not something you normally see driving on the streets of Europe

Thats a cool plate. Possibly a newer one that just came out, or its a custom made one. Either way, I havent ever seen on that style from California before, and I live in the states.

That's pretty weird. I would have never thought that people form California would drive all the way up there, if they could, from California. Well, I've spotted a Canadian license plate where I live when I was going to the beach.

During my googeling i even found out that the good folks of San Francisco can get their own, it has a drawing of the Golden Gate Bridge on it. But a message from the athorities: Will the person with the following plate please remove the car away from the fire hydrant or it will be towed ;D Now THAT'S a Charmed fan for sure!

OK, sorry for not realizing that, but I was trying to the point of what PAIGE THE BEST said. I just couldn't think of it at the time so I put that down instead!I also, agree with what PAIGE THE BEST said. For the Charmed California license plate thing. That's pretty cool!

well there's this thing called boats and sovineers About souvenirs: A car in Denmark/Europe is not allowed to have souvenir license plates unless it also has European country registered license plates and a by EU law forced sticker that tells what country you are from. The car did not have by law European license plates or country sticker on it, this means that it must have been originally registered in California and was imported by ship to Europe by a resident of California. Either a tourist who is loaded or a Californian, who has moved to Europe recently and taken their car with them. But in both cases, this is not something you see every day, it would be like an American spotting a European registered car driving on the streets in America.

Only thing that comes to mind that I have seen that is outside of the USA is "District of Columbia" license plates. Here is what our plates look look. Excluding the border the driver added to it of course. That is Mount Saint Helens on it. The border is part of the American Flag design for those who may not of known that.
