Never watch any kind of award shows. That a movie gets an Oscar, Golden Palm or what they all are called is not equal to that the movie or tv show is actually good.
I have seen tons of movies and tv shows that never got an award that was way better than those who got one.

I watch them but I don´t look for it on a movie or show... Like said above there are much good movies and shows which never got an Oscar.  |

I am so pleased for Slumdog Millionaire and Kate Winslet...
Like Piper Halliwell had said: It was a great day for British talent...
Did anyone see the performance by Hugh Jackman, Beyonce, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper?...That was brilliant!

yea...this was probably the best year for oscars It was all done so beautifully and it was so creative. Hugh Jackman was brilliant as host, and his opening number was hilarious. Who knew anne hathaway could sing so well? anyways, i was very happy about: Penelope Cruz- vicky cristina barcelona Kate Winslet - the reader (IMO, she is the best actress after Meryl Streep). And it's about time she recieved one. wow 5 nominations and never a win lol. Heath Ledger - The dark knight (what an amazing performance. RIP, heath) I loved Anne Hathaway's performance in Rachel Getting Married, what a talent she has grown. To think once she was doing disney roles and now shes being nominated for an oscar ;D I wasn't Happy about sean penn. Mickey Rourke deserved that oscar. He was absolutely incredible in the wrestler. Highlights of the night: -Opening number - wow hugh jackman  -Tina Fey and Steve Martin presenting together -Hugh Jackman nd Beyonce - the musical is back! (zac and vanessa was a weird addition, considering they sang two lines  ) -Queen Latifah -The way they presented the awards for the actors/actresses. |
