Brown of course. Glad she went back to it in later seasons. However I didn't mind the strawberry blonde.
I'm not a fan of the red at all.

Dark-haired Paige is the best Paige. Not only does Rose look better with dark hair to begin with, but the dark hair symbolized the strong, intelligent, independent young woman Paige was in Season 4. It's hard not to notice how Paige seemingly lost 50 IQ points between Seasons 4 and 5, turning into the Ditzy Valley Girl who forgot how to orb things and hung out with leprechauns. The peroxide clearly went to her brain.

Betty, you took the words right out of my mouth. I voted for dark haired Paige too.

Well they do say brunettes are intelligent more appealing to men and have longer lasting relationships apparently so yes it is a shame Paige's character was trounced after season 4 then.

As I said, that was when Rose really started the mugging and twitching, once her character got butchered. Her way of protesting, I think.

What a difference a season can make. What happened to the smart Paige of Season Four.

I think the brown fits in most, she looks like a Halliwell.
I liked the red, think Rose suited it well.
Not keen on the strawberry blonde, but I dunno, it wasn't just the colour... a lot of the time in season 6 her hair looked pretty frazzled to me.

That's often what happens when someone dyes their hair blonde. That nasty yellow color must've really damaged and dried Rose's follicles out. I should note that Alyssa's hair had a similar frazzled look when she went blonde in Season 3:

At least Rose went back to her natural colour for the final seasons.
Now her hair is short.

I can't say many good things about Season 8, but Rose looked absolutely beautiful in that season: Thank goodness she didn't end the show with that nasty orange or yellow hair!

I agree. Rose is better looking as a brunette, her natural colour.

I agree. Rose is better looking as a brunette, her natural colour. Definitely. The comics made a mistake in making her look like her Season 5 self again: I mean, I know they're probably worried about likeness issues and dodgy art and all, but that hair just looks awful.

Besides, if you want to attract Charmed fans, you do NOT want to remind them of Season Five!

Yeah, 2 of the volume covers for the comics use season 5 photos and one uses a season 6 pic. Bugs me. 1- It's meant to carry on from season 8, so why use such early photos? 2- All that great artwork by David Seidman and your not going to use it on the book covers?

Bugs me. 1- It's meant to carry on from season 8, so why use such early photos? 2- All that great artwork by David Seidman and your not going to use it on the book covers? Yeah, that's pretty annoying. Why did Paige suddenly revert back to what she looked like in 2002-03 when the comics are supposed to be set in 2007-08? Why do they want Paige to look like her Season 5 self, especially when Piper and Phoebe, for the most part, still look as they did in Season 8? Interestingly, the novels seemed to have the opposite issue. All of the novels from "Survival of the Fittest" onwards used Season 6 and Season 8 ( "Sweet Talkin' Demon" onwards) promo shots on their covers. Problem is, most of the novels with Season 6 pictures on them actually took place in late Season 4 and Season 5, and most of the ones with Season 8 pictures on them actually took place in early Season 6. Only the very last novel, "Trickery Treat," took place after Season 6. The novels constantly seemed to be a season or two "behind" the images on the covers, or so to speak.

Yeah, I noticed that too. The novels should have used the hair styles of the season they were set in.
BTW: The only novel not to have the sisters on the cover was Leo Rising. That one had Leo and the Charmed Sons, Wyatt and Chris.

The novels clearly lagged behind the show. They were barely into Season 5 by the time the show started Season 7, but I guess they didn't want to use "outdated" pictures of the sisters on the cover, so they went ahead and used the Season 6 and 8 pictures. It was especially egregious in many of the later novels, when Paige was described as having strawberry blonde hair, yet had brown hair on the cover.
Sadly, the novels had only just started getting into Season 6 by the time they were cancelled, so they were forced to skip over all of Seasons 7 and 8 and go straight to after the finale in the last one.
