i just hope one there think of doing a season 9 charmed it would be ace They are NOT doing a season 9 and such hopes for one are pointless. The network Charmed was on doesn't exist anymore, the actors and crew have moved on. Let it go. Seriously..how many times do I have to say this?

You never know what was discussed unless it's released through the press. Yeah he was the one who said that the network was kinda working for a spin-off with Billie/Kaley. That was after season 7. I'm talking about season 6 or before season 6. If Kern presented the idea and then it was shot down he wouldn't run to the press and say my idea was shot down. There was rumors that the network thought Kern stories got away from the sisters. But he stated before season 8 that he ran out of ideas for the sisters and you can tell some of stories started repeating themselves. The acting suffered because it showed. I'm not saying it was as a fact but it still makes you wonder why they just dropped the storyline really in midseason and completely ignored the story the next season. Because afterwards of the episode "Chris-Crossed" the focus went away from the brothers to Gideon. That episode was highest rating the show had in two seasons. I think if they explored the sisters battling Wyatt who knows how the series would have turned out and we wouldn't have had the mess that was seasons 7 and 8.

I wasn't in the board rooms, but even if he had proposed the idea and was shot down it doesn't change the fact that that's where it died. Unlike the potential Billie/Christy spin-off which actually gained a form of publicity and buzz that it may happen once Charmed was over (e.g..see the Charmed Magazines for proof of this). Though I can't see the Wyatt storyline being dragged out for much longer than it already was. Much like the Phoebe-babydaddy "storyline"..sometimes things just need to end in a timely manner.

me to pppiper with you i would love it if there brought a season 9 out Please god no. Seasons 7 and 8 were unbearable enough as is.. Season 9...*shudders*.. They shouldn't have married off all the sisters anyways. That move was idiotic (as was pretty much every move and decision made in seasons 7 and 8). I *may* have been able to buy Paige getting married to Henry..had they brought him in during season 7 instead of Brody who was just a waste of space. Then have her relationship with Henry develop to an engagement in season 8 but we don't see the wedding. Coop I didn't buy in the slightest. He was thrown in there to be Phoebe's baby daddy because of her ridiculous obsession with finding her baby daddy. The two had no chemistry. Agreed. With how much of the later seasons went, I'd be afraid to see a season 9. There would have to be some serious damage control to gain my interest on another season. And because another season won't be happening, I wouldn't have to worry about it. For me, season 8 had too many "clunkers", many of which have already been said. The acting being one of them. By the end, Alyssa and Rose's acting was less than stellar, something I found to be incredibly disappointing.

I think you missed the point. The Wyatt storyline was never told. The Phoebe babydaddy storyline lasted for 3 seasons with no rhyme of reason for it's beginning or it's end. The only one that cared about that was Kern. I think the story that could have been told of whether the parents(Piper and Leo) would have to vanquish their own son or going to future and facing him. Why Wyatt didn't come back after Chris after Bianca was killed is just example of a whole season of stories that could have told. Instead we got Gideon and the Avatars

I'm with TOP3. The Wyatt storyline was dragged out. In my opinion the basis of his character was ridiculous. He was unnecessarily powerful and he didn't need whitelighter powers (just like Paige didn't). Sure, more closure would have be fine had it been written well. But if it were dragged into season 8, I would have gone mad.

I wouldn't agree with you entirley i don't think they had loads of chemistry or should have been married or that he was ever meant to be anytihng more than an excuse for phoebe to have kids. But there was something going on becuase she really didn't like him... and that always means there's something. Not much. But something surley?
