In the UK. And none of the three main actresses will probably ever attend.

I did not even think that Charmed was huge enough to actually create Charmed conventions, but that must mean that Charmed is rather huge in the UK.

In the UK. And none of the three main actresses will probably ever attend. Well Rose McGowan was actually scheduled to appear at a CHARMED convention in the U.K. back in 2006. She ended up pulling out though so that she could finish filming her roles in both of the GRINDHOUSE features; PLANET TERROR and DEATHPROOF. Although, Rose has sort of distanced herself from CHARMED lately. Alyssa Milano already said she wouldn't do one, unless it was in someplace exotic or something. Holly Marie Combs might do one, if only to please the fans... and quite possibly if she were paid enough. Now Shannen Doherty on the other, if the pay check is big enough she just might do it. I mean, she claims that the reason she played Brenda Walsh again was as a thank you to her fans for her supporting her all these years (that $40-50,000 an episode probably didn't hurt either). If the fans made a big campaign to get her there like they did to get her on the new 90210, SD could possibly do a convention.

Charmed isn't bigger or smaller in the U.K than in the US. Xena conventions are held in California and that show was based out of New Zealand. It all depends on who's sponsoring the conventions.
As far as Shannen doing a convention, I would sooner believe that a Xena movie is being made (which has already been confirmed that that prospect is D.O.A).
90210 and Charmed are 2 completely seperate jobs for Shannen. Shannen, IMO, has no harsh feelings towards the crew or cast of the original 90210. This was shown when she did the Beverly Hills, 90210 "10 Year Reunion" special back in 2003.
Charmed on the other hand, treated her quite differently. The way in which she was released from the show was incredibly unprofessional and it's common knowledge that Shannen and Brad Kern did not see eye-to-eye. Especially given that he didn't even ATTEMPT to ask her to return to for the series finale simply because he assumed she'd say no. Not even giving her the benefit of the doubt or the option to say no is what is really irksome about the whole situation.
I personally don't see Shannen going to a convention because A) I don't believe any behind the conventions would invite her and would have the same mindset as Kern about what she would say and B) the biggest question fans would ask is the one that still most people question "Why did you leave? What happened?" Questions that can obviously never be answered due to legality reasons. That, to me, is the only explanation why more information hasn't been released about Shannen's departure from Charmed, simply because that information CAN'T be released without the penality of a lawsuit being brought on mostlikely.

That makes sense, although I can’t say for certain Ms. Doherty harbors no harsh feelings to any of her former cast or crew from the original 90210. At least, it seems that way when she holds back her feelings on Tori and her book “STORI TELLING” out of respect to Jennie Garth’s friendship with her in their shared Entertainment Weekly interview.
