When you did the interview you seemed so sweet and caring and then when you get in the stands, your quite scary. But your love for baseball and the Gophers is obvious.
It's a shame soccer fans aren't as supportive!
EDIT: You have a wicked laugh! ;D

Scary?? Who?? Moi?? To the umpires, oh, yes! To the others?? *scratches head* Or do you mean the Big Ten and their so-called "neutral site"?? GRRRRRRRRRR! I'll admit that when I said what I said about that, I'd totally forgotten I was micced, but I meant every word! I just wish they'd micced me during a win rather than when we were being clobbered by Primrose's team, the eventual tournament champions and the team that clobbered us twice. I'm a LOT more fun during that! But it sounds like you enjoyed the video and I'm glad! I'm especially glad that you liked my laugh! Think of it whenever I type: hehehehehehehe!

I'll second you whole heartedly on that "neutral site" crapola. Neutral site, my foot. That game was held less than 10 miles from OSU's campus in a town full of fans; with the home town team playing their games in prime time. If that's the definition of a "neutral site", than the ol' dictionary definitely needs to be updated. Speaking as an IU fan and alum, I'm thrilled silly that we did end up winning the tournament. It's a huge boost, since IU baseball has been so bad for so long. Let's put it this way -- the last time we won the tourney was in 1996. It's nice to snap a 13-year drought. On the flip side of the coin -- I just wish the scores from when we played your guys were closer and not the clobber-fests that they ended up being. When Es and I first saw the brackets for this year's tourney, we came up with various scenarios as to to what would happen -- a "realist's" scenario, and a couple of "dream scenarios". The dream scenarios were just that...dreams...nothing that we ever thought would happen. But that wasn't the case, as I present to you "Dream Scenario #1". Which was, believe it or not...what actually happened. Cross my heart! (In all situations, the ones that are bolded are winners in the winners bracket, while the other teams go to the losers' bracket. And the ones in red are the losers in the losers bracket -- this is a double elimination tournament -- who are now eliminated.) And that is one fantastic laugh! ;D

I'm going to redo our "Dream Scenario #1" in blockquotes rather than quotes, so you can see the bolding of the winners in the winners' bracket. The reason why my dream was to lose to Primrose's Indiana team is that I wanted Indiana to be the one to knock OSU to the losers' bracket, while I wanted MY team to be the one to knock out OSU out of their so-called "neutral site". Although I *really* wanted MY team to be the eventual winner, I knew that after that many games, they'd be too beat--the spirit was willing, but the flesh was SOOO weak!--and if they'd have to lose, I'd prefer them losing the game to Indiana on Saturday than having to play again on Sunday. And Indiana has had our number all year. Had our final game with them not been rained out, there's no doubt in my mind that they would've been the Big Ten Champs, not OSU, which would've made the tourney more interesting, since OSU would not have played so many games in prime time. Also, the numbers in brackets shows how how many games each team had to play. The #1 team (OSU) and #2 team (MN) had byes the first day. WED
Game 1 #4 Illinois [1] #5 Mich St [1]
Game 2 #3 Indiana [1] #6 Purdue [1]
THURS
Game 3 #5 Mich St [2] #6 Purdue [2]
Game 4 #2 Minnesota [1] #3 Indiana [2]
Game 5 #1 Ohio State [1] #4 Illinois [2]
FRI
Game 6 #6 Purdue [3] #2 Minnesota [2]
Game 7 #2 Minnesota [3] #4 Illinois [3]
Game 8 #1 Ohio State [2] #3 Indiana [3]
SAT
Game 9 #1 Ohio State [3] #2 Minnesota [4]
Game 10 #2 Minnesota [5] #3 Indiana[4]
FINAL:
CHAMPION: #3 Indiana 2. #2 Minnesota 3. #1 Ohio State 4. #4 Illinois 5. #6 Purdue 6. #5 Michigan State

Hey, guys! It's Big Ten Tournament time again! Unfortunately my Gophers got eliminated last week (and I was in Champaign, IL "getting" to watch it happen, although I then got to watch *them* knock out the team that knocked the Gophers out), but Primrose's Hoosiers is in, so naturally I'm rooting for them. The first two days have already happened ( I took vacation time so I could watch Days Two and Three on TV...they reran Day One's games before Day Two's games got going, so I got to watch all of them. Naturally I would've preferred being in Columbus, OH, with my Gophers...oh, well) and since Primrose's Illini won, I'm going to do one of our Dream Scenarious. I've taken a liking to Nebraska, who is in the tournament for the first time and they have to make it up through the losers' bracket, like the Gophers did last year. So I'm going to set it up the same way it was last year with Primrose's Hoosiers "playing" the University of Illinois (a team who adopted me last year) and the University of Nebraska playing the Gophers. They never played against each other which made it fun for me - I always had a team to cheer for and never had to worry about which team to cheer for - unlike last weekend when the Gophers went against Illinois, both teams needing to win to get in the tourney, but then neither did. As always, in all situations, the ones that are bolded are winners in the winners bracket, while the other teams go to the losers' bracket. And the ones in red are the losers in the losers bracket -- this is a double elimination tournament -- who are now eliminated.) ALREADY HAPPENED:
DAY ONE: WED
Game 1 #4 Nebraska #5 Michigan State
Game 2 #3 Penn State #6 Ohio State
DAY TWO: THURS
Game 3 #3 Penn State #3 Nebraska
Game 4 #2 Indiana #5 Michigan State
Game 5 #1 Purdue #6 Ohio State
(My Dream Scenario)
DAY THREE: FRI
Game 6 #3 Nebraska #6 Ohio State
Game 7 #3 Nebraska #5 Michigan State
Game 8 #1 Purdue #2 Indiana
DAY FOUR: SAT
Game 9 #3 Nebraska #1 Purdue
Game 10 #1 Purdue #2 Indiana
For Primrose's sake, here's hoping!

Hey, guys! Well, the Big Ten Tournament is over and it didn't quite go the way Primrose and I would've wanted it. But I still enjoyed watching it. Here's the actual brackets. As always, in all situations, the ones that are bolded are winners in the winners bracket, while the other teams go to the losers' bracket. And the ones in red are the losers in the losers bracket -- this is a double elimination tournament -- who are now eliminated.) DAY ONE: WED
Game 1 #4 Nebraska #5 Michigan State
Game 2 #3 Penn State #6 Ohio State
DAY TWO: THURS
Game 3 #3 Penn State #4 Nebraska
Game 4 #2 Indiana #5 Michigan State
Game 5 #1 Purdue #6 Ohio State
DAY THREE: FRI
Game 6 #4 Nebraska #6 Ohio State
Game 7 #5 Michigan State #6 Ohio State
Game 8 #1 Purdue #2 Indiana
DAY FOUR: SAT
Game 9 #2 Indiana #5 Michigan State
Game 10 #1 Purdue #2 Indiana
So the final standings were: #1 Purdue (#1) #2 Indiana (#2) #3 Michigan State (#5) #4 Ohio State (#6) #5 Nebraska (#4) #6 Penn State (#3) Although I'm disappointed for Primrose's team, they're a very young, very good team who should be back next year and *NEXT YEAR*, the tournament will be right here in Minneapolis at the Twins' Target Field! I certainly hope my Gophers will get to be there (even though they don't tend to play well at Target Field) and that Primrose will be here to watch her team!
