When was the last time you went to the theater to see a concert, a comedy act, a play, the ballet, what ever.....and who did you see.....
My sister treated me to Clint Black on 4/23 and The Doobie Brothers on 4/24....at the State Theater in Easton PA. Both were terrific.
We also saw Tom Jones at the State Theater in New Brunswick on I think 6/24.....
She is a total country girl and I am a city Rock and Roller...If you had told me I would ever be at a Tom Jones concert back in the 60's, I would have laughed at you......hay....guess what....he was magnificent.

I last saw Les Miserables at the Queen's Theatre in London. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, simply devine. I can't wait to perform it myself, it's gonna be good. Other things I've seen recently is Boxin' at the Northcott Theatre in Exeter and Brief Encounter (based on the old fim!) in Cheltenham. Both were pretty amazing, BE was of the best plays I've personally seen.

I can actually think of the last two times. The first one was back sometime in March , I think, I went with my family to see Lord of The Dance (They're irish tap dancers.) I LOVE everything Irish and everything about the country, so I LOVED it! I HIGHLY reccomend to go and see it, if it comes somewhere near you. The other one I can think of that was back in January! I went to go see "Happy Days a New Musical." I LOVED IT!!! It's not going anymore because it's been going since 2007, but whenever it comes back, I also HIGHLY reccomend to go and see it!

I've never seen Live theater, but I've always wanted to. It sounds like it would be a lot of fun to go watch. One of these days I should go.

Ugh god, I was in High School Musical: On Stage here in the UK, worst show I have ever done; and I've done quite a few.

We just went to the State Theater in Easton PA to see Menopause. It was hilarious. The four actresses can really belt out a number and the music, all mostly 60's things was fun as my sister and I knew all of the words. And I gotta tell ya...having been there, done that...it was right on target.
To Astral Echo....so, you are a stage actor? How exciting. What else have you done...if you would like to share.

I played the radio announcer, Jack Scott. Not really my kind of show and most of the lead roles are out of my vocal range, so I didn't try out for those. I am currently rehearsing for Les Miserables, I'm playing Javert, which I'm incredibly excited about. Plenty of time though until we hit the stage, Febuary. I'm also currently co-writing a stage play called 'Fate Never Wrote Their Romance' which we are hoping to perform sometime next year.

Wow!! Your going to perform in Les Miserables...that's wonderful. Is acting your chosen profession? Are you taking classes in that field? If so, I wish you all the best, if not, than I hope you are have loads of fun.
The stage play you are writing sounds very interesting. Does it have anything to do with Charmed?
New for me...though I know this is not live theater, but last week we went to the Titanic Exhibit in New York City. I just had to go as I was born on the same date it sank. It was hard to believe so many artifact were in such good condition. For those of you who are near to it you really should check it out.

Haha, no nothing to do with Charmed.
It's about two lovers who separated during a harsh dictatorship, the young male aligns himself with the new government while the female rebels against the new power. Years later they meet in a prison (somewhat in the same vain of the Nazis concentration camps, minus the ethnic cleansing.) and rekindle the flame, regardless of the fact that the male is now married.
The play is heavily political, drawing "inspiration" from the British Nationalist Party and obviously...the Nazist regime of the 30's/40's. However we learn that the dictators motivation isn't a prejudice grudge or religious belief but simply her greed for power and need for control.
Were kind of in the stages where we have the framework but we need to add more detail into the technicalities.
And yes, acting is a profession. I've done various professional productions on stage but I really want to work on screen, as if I want to continue pursuing it as a career, that is where I need to be. It's where the money is after all. I really want to do socially realistic, artsy films or serious television dramas. Which I hope Uni will help me get to.

I wish you well and I think some of the best work I have seen has come out of the UK. I loved shows like The Avengers, Secret Agent Man and The Prisoner. Just to mention a few.
The screen play you are penning sounds promising. Keep us posted.
