I know there must be many members that do not wish to share the reason behind there chosen user-name....but you could always make up something....just for fun.
I selected Ghost-Rider from the film "Top Gun"....not the more recent movie with Nick Cage....
I love planes.....both of my brothers were pilots, my late cousin was a fighter pilot....I have been behind the controls....it is a high you could never explain.
The now retired Tomcats (F-14's) were a marvel of engineering, yes, like most fighter crafts, they are weapons of destruction but if you can look past that....the ability to fly one is amazing....
Also....like Prue....I'm a Ghost.....works for me!!!

Mine used to be Piper Sorelli Halliwell because I liked Piper a lot but then I realized that Prue's my favorite sister so I just changed it to fit that!  |

Mine dates back to the early 90s. Old friends of mine began calling me Hansemand, because i could impersonate the voice of a Danish comedians character he named Hansemand. My friends still calls me Hansemand because of it |

No real reason behind mine except for the fact that I wanted to create a reasonably unique username. I started off as Astral Echo (after numerous changes before hand inlcuding Forever Yours and dantay, both of which you'll still see attached to old posts here and on CRR) but when Star Trek was released I changed it. Astral came from one of my favourite characters, Prue. And also from the fact that an astral projection is kind of transparant as it's forming and people have said that I'm the total opposite of transparant. haha And obviously Sulu is the name of my favourite Trek character and I thought it lended it self quite well to the Cafe as the new Sulu is played by John Cho who plays Mark Chao on Charmed. |

When my brothers and sisters and I were young, we used to pretend that we were witches. My name was always Esmeralda, because it sounded witchy to me. I'm not sure where I got it from, but I'm guessing it was from some cartoon where there was a witch named Esmeralda. My youngest brother always pretended to be my black cat named Shadow. When I joined the old Cafe in 2003, all forms of Patty Halliwell (my then-favorite character) were already taken and I didn't want a number at the end of my name, because I didn't want people to call me by a name and a number. So I used my old witch name, Esmeralda, although most people shorten it to Es. That's OK--I always shorten names of people I like--less letters to type.  The nice thing about proBoards is if you want people to call you something else, you can always change your screen name. With ezBoard, which the original Cafe was, once you chose a name, that's the only one you could use unless you got a new account. But since so many people know me as Esmeralda, I've kept it. ETA: I recently added "Wyatt" as a last name. I was going to do "Halliwell" or "Warren" when I realized that I didn't really want to be a part of that family; I'd much rather be a Wyatt, because I like Leo a lot more than the way the sisters turned out, and because Leo was always my favorite guy until Piper changed him into her little errand boy. Maybe she didn't want to be Mrs. Wyatt, but I would! |

It´s pretty simple with my user name, when I came to the site I started as "paig3" because she was my favourite Halliwell sister. Later I changed it to **Teyla Emmgan**" because I´m a huge fan of Stargate Atlantis and she is my favourite character. Also Teyla is played by Rachel Luttrell who played Jenna in Charmed... |

mine goes many years back I started as Simone when I was born in October. When I was 5 years old my cousin was still on school. She called me mona.. as the old dessert.. When i grew older people started to call me sim or simie which i didn't like in the beginning.. So when i grew older i needed an orginal name for myself Why not put the 2 together simiemona.... Noo that looks horrible So I changed it too simymonna The 2 nn's made it look like something special! No one ever took my name I'm the only one on the net with this name I even have a website now with that name in it.. but we changed it to Simy Just Simy soo for all of you people here Call me Simy |

Several years ago I saw the first episode of a TV show called "The Road to Avonlea" on the Disney Channel. I was pretty little, only six, but there was an episode that first season that stuck with me. It was called "The Story Girl Earns Her Name". I've always liked telling stories, so when I came up with a user name I decided on StoryGirl83. The 83 is for the year I was born.

I guess that there's kind of a story behind mine. Back when I first decided to join up here, which was a little over 3 years ago (my how time flies!), I wanted a name that was not only unique, but also fit with the theme of the site. So after a bit of thinking, I decided on using the title of my all-time favorite epi (and I'm a big-time Prue fan, so it fit perfectly in more ways than one) -- but added an underscore between the two words to make it even more different. Since I've been here, I've never once changed my name, nor felt the desire to do so. Most people actually just shorten it to Primrose, which is absolutely fine by me. The saying under the avi is a different story entirely. |

Mine was from a poster on my wall like 5 years ago lol it was a star wars poster and so i took
Yoda
and then i took the first let\ter off of every other word on the poster which resulted in
Yodajmdod ;O
Im kinda stuck with it lol

When I joined the website, my username was "charmedandhollyfan" simply because I'm, of course, a Charmed and Holly Marie Combs fan. Actually make that a HUGE fan! LOL! Now it's "xoFeliciaFinleyxo" because she's one of my #1 idols who's absoultely amazing. It's her name, Felicia Finley, inside the xo which everybody knows what it stands for. I put the xo because she's just so amazing!!! That's all you need to know. |

Well, Marie is a variation of my real name Maria. The last name is because when I was younger, I loved this comic book character named 'The Nomad'. And so, I created this character named Lady Nomad. Anyway, I decided to kinda just use Nomad as a last name because it's so cool.

PixieSunBelle is me, lol. It sort of became my online persona. Everything I have for the most part is this name- boards, aim, skype, and other things. I ma de it because I love fairies. Unfortunately I don't have that as my Gaia name though and that is LilPinkCandy. And well that name just shows my obsessive love for the color pink.
My first fairy name was Evening Primrose on the Stacie Orrico board which was my 3rd incarnation of that account...
