I think what Kelly Clarkson did was wrong. She has a lot of young fans and for her to say such things to Kanye was just wrong. How does that make her any better than him? Kelly Clarkson saying a cuss word is wrong?! Oh the horror! Um, it makes her better because she's not the one who jumped up on stage and ruined Taylor's moment. Her and Pink were just acting out what most of America wanted to say to him. It's not like they physically attacked him, just both expressed a couple of bad words towards the idiot. And honestly? You're going to criticize KC for using a bad word against a celeb that clearly deserved it? Her "younger fans" (although I can't really say in confidence that's the audience Kelly is marketed to unlike the actual younger stars like Miley Cirus and Taylor Swift), aren't going to go out and call people assholes because KC called Kanye one. Any why exactly are you just jumping down Kelly's throat? I didn't hear any criticisms towards Pink in your post and IMO, KC and Pink hit about the same age range therefore she also must have "younger fans". Take a minute to think about these things. Everything isn't quite so black and white.

It wasn't just her saying a swear word. It was the whole letter she wrote to him. What write does she have to write to kanye about the whole thing? Taylor didn't express herself in such ways so what makes Kelly or even Pink think they should. The reason I didn't say anything about Pink is because I don't know everything she said. I read the whole Kelly Clarckson letter.

Kelly expressed her distaste for what Kanye did directly to him and not during a big moment of his. Kanye expressed his opinion on Taylor winning instead of Beyonce while she was on stage, on a live broadcast program accepting her award and trying to thank her fans. Time and place matters. When comparing the 2, Kelly acted much more professional than Kanye has acted in his entire lifetime.

I'm surprised at what Beyonce did for Taylor. Usually she gloats abou her career and I expected her to get up on stage and just make this whole large rant about how rude Kanye West was, trying to make herself look all high and mighty. Clearly you don't really know Beyoncé very well at all. It was a typical thing for her to do and it's something she's always been gracious and caring. While people call her a diva and treat her like she's some glory hound... she's really just a talented woman who wants to do her best. That still doesn't change my opinion on her.

But did Kanye go on stage and say "Taylor your a horrible singer. You suck, Beyonces video was better so get off the stage" no he did not. All he said was Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time. Kelly was very rude no matter how you look at it. Just because Kanye does something rude or whatever, depends how you look at it, doesn't mean Kelly should go and be more horrible. Haven't you heard two wrongs don't make a right? Also that has nothing to do with her. If Taylor did that, which of course she wouldn't because of the person she is, that would have been different. By the way she was setting a good example for her fans, unlike Kelly.

Then how come you're not angry at Pink for calling him "The biggest sh*t on Earth"?

Then how come you're not angry at Pink for calling him "The biggest sh*t on Earth"? Oh of course she'll be angry with Pink too. But haven't you heard? Since the wonderful success of Twilight setting feminism back about 60+ years, women and men can not longer behave the same and get equal treatment. According to Piper3, what Kanye did was "not very nice" but Kelly should be highly ashamed of herself for stating her opinion in a letter. Which is clearly what's going on since she thinks it was wrong to ask him to leave the place where he made an ass of himself but Kelly expressing her concerns in a not so publicized letter is grounds for her not being a very good role model. I guess all young girls must now turn to Jamie Lynn Spears for their idolization. I guess well have to wait 'til the 3000's before we see real change happening there?

That wasn't my point. It was what the letter said not the fact that she stated her opinion.

I think this whole thing should not have happened...Kanye West was very wrong to barge in like that and I think that Taylor Swift deserves an apology ( unless she has already got one)....
