Yeah- or at least, it was a big part of later seasons being ruined for me. I thought the revealing outfits made it less of a "Girl power/ for women and about women" thing into something that was trying to appeal more to the guys. (Not that there's anything wrong with shows that appeal to guys, but shows that are for women, by women, and about women have a certain charm for me. Pun intended.) As the thread states, they had the same costume designer from S2-S7. Even if the costume designer is a woman, I'm sure the "sexy" push is from the Network and not Eilish, herself, but I digress. It's clear the "sexy" outfits began in S2 and remained until she left. S8 isn't as bad except maybe for some of Billie's clothes, but I digress.

Honestly I didn't mind the costumes. For context, I am a gay so I am not attracted to women but did find a lot of the outfits fierce (some were awful too haha).
The thing I didn't like that I only discovered in the last few years is how the WB advertised Charmed in the later seasons. It was basically like "tune in to see sexy women". I am thinking of the Lady Godiva episode and the Valkyrie episode in particular. The women of the show are sexy but these ads/promos made it seem like the show was like playboy or another magazine like that.
EDIT: I watched Charmed originally on CTV in Canada until it went off that station after season 3. I then watched Saturday reruns during the day of random episodes on CTV until the DVDs came out and then I watched it in completion. They didn't run the ads I spoke of on CTV.

Yeah, I noticed some sexy costumes starting in Season 2, and I totally agree about the "sexy" push coming from the network, although I'm sure Brad Kern was totally supportive of the "sexy" push and probably tried to help push that angle.

And Spelling productions. Most of his shows were that way I believe. The changes to the show were evident after S1 not S3 or S4. I think Connie's original vision for the show was tainted starting S2 not S3.

I'm sure S2 there was much more behind the scenes issues between her and the other producers Spelling and Kern which ended up with her being forced out by S3.

I think she already lost some control after S1. She wasn't assigned season premiers and finales. I was surprised she didn't contribute to Witch Trial. I don't think she was interested in Leo's character at all or the very least: the whitelighter concept.

Sadly Connie was doomed from the start working with Spelling, the male executives and to a lesser extent The WB.

I haven't either. But I heard the term "Jiggle TV" coined with Spelling shows. But I don't know the full history. Found this: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jiggle_television#:~:text=The%20term%20has%20been%20used,as%20trashy%20and%20escapist%20entertainment. The term “jiggle TV” or “T&A TV” came into true prominence following the premiere of Charlie’s Angels in 1976 with Fawcett, Smith, and Jackson cracking cases in bikinis and busting baddies braless. Fawcett famously once said, “When the show was number three, I figured it was our acting. When it got to be number one, I decided it could only be because none of us wears a bra.” The term has been used to describe the dramatic television series of Aaron Spelling such as The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Charmed and others. Jiggle TV is seen as trashy and escapist entertainment. Programs or female performers are often judged by their "jiggle factor. No clue which one is more or less. But I see why sex appeal was used on Spelling shows to sell. I still believe it wasn't just his shows but the WB marketing too played a part.

Tbh I never felt their outfits were that revealing. And to me female empowerment is in the confidence to wear whatever we want. The only thing I had issue with I recall only one episode talking about the financial strain of getting new clothes constantly because they were ruined by demon fighting. They should have had regular outfits AND outfits to fight demons in that they didn't mind being messed up a little.
