Okay well the end of the year is coming up soon..so lets take a look back at some of the great movies of 2009.
The Proposal was one of my favourite movies because Sandra Bullock is amazing and the film was really funny.
What are some of your favourites of 2009?

Well I really liked The Proposal too, it was just funny and really nice! and I think for me the best movie of the whole year was "New Moon"!!! It was just amazing and all the actors did a great job in it! Also I really liked the new Harry Potter There was also X-Men: Origins of Wolverine which I really liked, cause I love all the X-Men movies...

Some of my favorite movies this year were:
"Public Enemies" "Terminator Salvation" "Inglourious Basterds" "State of Play" "The Informant!" "2012" "Julie and Julia" "The Ugly Truth"
But this isn't the complete list. After all, the year isn't over yet.

My favourites of 2009 are as follows:
"The Hangover" - the best comedies of the year. "The Proposal" - the best romantic comedy of the year. "Star Trek" - the best Sci-Fi of the year but this could change if "Avatar" goes one better. "The Time Travellers Wife" - just a really touching film, the acting was top notch. "Inglourius Basterds" - immensely intelligent film, one of Tarantino's best. "2012" - some people hated it but I loved it. But they, in my opinion, it doesn't get much better than an end of the world movie!
The worst are as follows:
"New Moon" - major disappointment, most overhyped movie of the year. "Transformers 2" - just awful on some many levels! "Bruno!" - just utter ****!

"Law Abiding Citizen" is also an immense film and would definitly be in my top ten. The Pixar film, "Up" is one of the only animation films I have enjoyed in the last few years. It was a masterpiece. "G.I. Joe", seriously unvalued, was a decent action film.

I believe I watched a total of four 2009 movies this past year. It will be a while before I see any of the rest of them, though no doubt I will see many of them.
The four I remember seeing (it's remotely possible that there were more and I just forgot them, but non of those on the lists people mentioned) are: Star Trek, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, 500 Days of Summer.
Out of the four I must say that Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was a MAJOR let down. Considering this is the book that follows the death of my favorite character in the entire series I was surprised to see that I actually liked the next book (which I finished while they were showing the previews before the movie, I know not the best move ever, but it took me a long time to forgive the author enough to even think of reading it and I'm still pretty mad over what she did in book five). Generally I don't like the movies as well as the book, but that movie just bored me. It was all about the dating relationships of the two couples and very little to do with Tom Riddle's past. If they had shown more about that, I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more, because those parts of the story were very interesting to me. No doubt there are people that disagree with me, but I didn't like that movie much.
Star Trek I actually liked despite myself, because frankly I was not looking foward to them completely messing up Star Trek and that was the impression I had gotten from the reviews (both good and bad) that I had seen. And it's kind of true, they did mess up Star Trek, but for the most part, not in a bad way. I'm pretty annoyed that they didn't once mention that Jim Kirk had a older brother and have found no logical explanation for why they didn't. And the whole thing between Spock and Uhura is just . . . weird, but made more sense that when it was first mentioned to me. I'm curious to see if they will do anything else with the events of that movie and if any new movies are coming. I will watch them if they do.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine was . . . unique. I found the back history fascinating and strange. They made one of the characters I enjoyed the most during the movie into a bad guy and the highlight of the movie was seeing Gambit.
Don't even get my going on the absurdity that was 500 Days of Summer. The highlight of the entire movie was the little sister and that's it.
So I guess for me the best movie of the year was the movie I intended to hate and the movies I intended to love were let downs and it's all topsy turvy and I want to see "Up" because it sounds cute and my boss has been quoting the dog at work.
"Squirrel!"

I haven't watched that many movies from 2009. I keep downloading them onto the computer, but I never seem to watch them.
The one I did watch that I really liked was The Stepfather!
I'm sure I would like X-Men, but I haven't watched it yet!
I still wanna see The Proposal!
