Yes...I think, but not that I care...the whole thing is a fake in the eyes of the law....but....if they live together for what about 7 years, would in therefore not be a common-law marriage. This means that if they broke up he would still have to support the kids and she gets, at least as far as California is concerned 50% of everything he has. But, considering that most of Leo's legal jobs were about minimum wage and she owns the house, Piper would be doing just as well without him as she was with him. In fact, she might have to support him, which in the earth bound world it looks like she was already doing that. So I guess that the more things might change the more they would stay the same. ;D
