I was watching Charmed trailers on Youtube and a serious case of reminiscence came on. I would just love to go back in time in 1998, erasing all knowledge of Charmed and watch it again, re-learning it and feeling that excitement you feel when a new episode airs next week that your dying to see. What was your episode? That one episode you waited a whole week to see and was SO excited that Thursday or Sunday night to finally see it. I'm curious. It's always nice to go down Charmed memory lane. Mines was Imaginary Friends. I remember waiting all day that Sunday for it to come on so I rearranged the living room so the TV would be closer (near sighted). I love Wes Ramsey and couldn't wait to see him on Charmed. I remember after watching it that, that was all I could think about. *sigh* Those were the days. I even remember when Sin Francisco first aired. I was in Chicago with my cousins. I was embarrassed to watch it at first 'cause of the fact Charmed was a female-lead show with magic, but I sucked it up and watched it anyway. Turns out my cousins didn't think it was that bad

For some reason back then I always watched from 1st episode. lol For younger people here. Back then before the age of streaming and even internet being what it was today. You either watch the episodes when they air (and you did have a chance the next day to catch reprise) or you never watch them. So as I said it, now when I look back on it. It's quite weird and funny that I always catch the 1st episodes. It happened with Smallville to. So for me it would be the very 1st episode of Charmed.

My episodes - based on sentiments, not quality. If I had to chose one - it is bolded.
Dream sorcerer - crap episode but it’s the first one I watched when I was 12 when my aunt was baby sitting us and I was hocked! My sister and I watched it in 1999 when it was first streaming in NZ on Friday nights.
She’s a man baby a man. The first episode I downloaded on 56k dial up internet which took me 2 whole days.
Chick Flick - I remember vhs recording this episode on timer because Charmed moved to Thursdays at 8.30-9.30, passed my 9pm bedtime and watching it over and over and over again.
Reckless Abandon only for the song at the end - Baby I got you.
The Season 3 premier was the first year of High School, age 13 and there was a huge following when Charmed was at its peak. The day after it aired everyone would be talking about Cole etc.
All Halliwells Eve was the first episode I watched with my Mum.
Just Harried and Pre Witched just felt monumental to me. Charmed had matured so well.
Charmed Again was a biggie - I got caught chatting to a torrent seeder who was going to sell me ripped Charmed VCDs by my parents at age 14. My parents were on Windows 95 Outlook when they found my chat history while I was in the middle of Charmed Again P1, told to go to my room and banned watching until I had served my punishment. ( I would have never bought them btw… but also looking back at how innocent that was and how bad that was and still is for young people on a whole another level with Social Media.)
Long Live The Queen - the only episode I think all my family watched. My sister who watched it with me since the beginning. My mum who got into it (always was concerned about the witchcraft and demons component and that it would corrupt me), and loved Julian McMahon. And dad watched this episode intensely when he HaATED Charmed. I remember him asking at the end - is he really dead? And I said- I think so. Little did we know…
Centennial Charmed - just for making 100 eps. I quite like Thai episode unlike most fans here
Witch Wars - for some reason I liked this episode and it started making me feel like Charmed was getting back to what it was and the actresses started looking like sisters again with the brunette hair.
7x05 - Styx feet under - I feel was when my faith was restored that Charmed could still be a good show. I have ADSL internet by this point - downloading American televised episodes, 6 months before they reach NZ. All the Zankou episodes I love.
8x12. Paybacks a Witch - again not one of my faves but seeing Phoebe being selfless trying to understand Wyatts problems with the toys etc. Piper overdoing things and Paige loving/healing Henry while Billie isn’t annoying and Christy hasn’t arrived yet. Probably one of my last faves.
Special shout out to The Good The Bad and The Cursed which is an episode I feel is awesome with direction, acting, story, cinematography - an episode Charmed fans could be very proud to showcase. A nice innocent saving episode as well.

I think towards season 3, 4, 5, because I was too young in 1-2 and tired after, especially season 8. It was Saturday in France. I would tape them and cry if it didn't work or if I missed an episode. But I remember I was very excited for Coyote Piper, the eyes have it, cat house, and of course the season 7 finale (my vcr had burned the vhs I was so so sad). It started again for Vaya con Leo and I missed the episode but this time I was just bored.

I was young when I first saw these, so I think I didn't particularly have a true favorite back then. It was more so the excitement of loving the show for the first time. So it was more so seasons than episodes. I had a better understanding of what was my episodes and favorites as I re-watched them and got older.
So Season 2-5 got a good workout from me when I taped them on VHS. I remember re-watching them so much.
But I think All Hell Breaks Loose always stood out to me, just because of how I sat there speechless after that cliffhanger ending. I ended up pulling out my VHS tapes of other shows, and It was hard to re-watch that as all that was on my mind was AHBL.
If we're talking about seeing the episode previews that built up excitement for the next episode. I think that'll be the following, regardless of how the episode ended up turning out.
The build-up to Charmed Again and wondering what the new sister Paige would be like. They really went to town here in Australia promoting it. I remember how much I already missed Prue when I saw them pay tribute to her in the previews. I was shocked to learn when I went online back then at a fan site and downloaded the WB promo that Prue wasn't in it.
S3 promoting all summer long about Julian McMahon who is Australian joining the show really got lots of press. But, I was interested to see what happened to Piper and Leo.
Coyote Piper really kept me excited to see what happened to Piper. Since the previews didn't let out she was possessed.
It's funny that despite me now not like most of the season premieres, those tended to be the ones I was most excited about because one of my favourite shows was coming back.
I remember checking online and reading the brief log lines for the episodes at Charmed fan sites, since back then (and before I could find copies online since back then we had dial-up). Being very excited to eventually see The Day the Magic Died, Charmed and Dangerous, and Muses to My Ears (they sure had me thinking Leo had gone bad).
But what really excited me was getting my copy of Season One of Charmed on DVD in February 2005. I remember ordering it from Amazon and it came from overseas. That was the best memory I ever had of Charmed because I never saw the entire first season. So although Prue was gone, I was getting her back in the sense that I was viewing new episodes with her again. I finally got to see the first episode for the first time ever. I did have VHS tapes of reruns of S1, but not the whole season. So it was so much fun.

I started watching in mid to late season 3, so that time is very special for me. It was way before you could just find episodes online or anything like that, so if you missed it, it was gone.
It was a time for me when I felt myself leaving childhood, although I was still pretty young. My parents didn't like me watching it, so I had to sneak around a bit with it. It was the first thing I watched by myself and the first way I snuck around to break the rules.
Everything about it was just so appealing. I looked up to the sisters quite a bit. The witchy atmosphere of the show was perfect for me as a young girl who was beginning to grow up and heavily resenting the religion I was raised in. It felt new and exciting and dark.
So for me it wasn't one episode in particular, but those first few months that I watched it.

Just finished watching The Wedding from Hell rewatch and it is getting better.
Leo is actually watching the episodes and HMC mentions how the episodes are out of production order which I liked how she knew that.
