Shannen to Voice Twins in New Cartoon

Doing a quick pop-in during my "leave of absense" because I just spot this at another site:

Shannen Doherty starring in "Mari-Kari"

Mari and Kari are identical twins. They're best friends and never apart. Mari is the liveliest girl you'll ever meet. Kari is too. Her problem: she's dead. From there it just gets weird.

The animated series' tongue-in-cheek action unfolds over eight episodes inspired by Japanese Anime. Shannen Doherty (Beverly Hills 90210, Charmed and Dancing with the Stars) provides the voices for both Mari and Kari. Jody Schaeffer is the director as well as the writer and creator. Executive producers are Austin Reading and Jim Burns. Keith Fay also serves as a writer for the series.

Interesting, huh? Sounds like a kid show and not one I'd be nuts on, but just like I gave "Romantically Challenged" a try for Alyssa's sake, I'll sure give this a try for Shannen's.

Maybe that's what all of our Charmed stars should do - start voicing animated series!

Who knows? If the Charmed comic books are popular enough, maybe "Charmed" will be back on TV - as an animated series!

Or maybe *that's* how it will end up out as a movie!

I agree that bringing back Charmed into Comic Book Fandom is a giant step towards a movie/animation/etc...

As of the show, I love Shannen! And I already have a soft spot for twins, me being a womb twin survivor. I can't wait to hear Shannen animated, the actors/actresses always seem more alive.

if it's on the comedy channel or maybe FX or maybe the cartoon network it will do ok. if it's kinda on the dark side it should do well.

It doesn't appear to be my kind of show either, but for Shannen I will probably check it out at some point (hopefully soon). I'm really bad about watching shows when they are on, so with my luck I'll probably miss it or not even have the channel, but I will probably try and find it to watch.

Each is about three minutes or so long and from the two I watched, extremely creepy. I know I could have the entire rest of it watched in another twenty minutes, but I think I'll pass. However anyone wanting to watch it can find it there.
