So how and when does a Seer get a premonition of his/her death?
Does it come in pieces? Does it come at the same time? When does it come?

Well, Phoebe's not exactly a Seer but she did see her death in February, 2009 in "Morality Bites", so I'm going to guess that IF the Seer can do something to change it, s/he's see it. If not, it's probably just as much of a surprise to him/her as it is to anyone else.

Phoebe IS a seer. She may have been lax in developing her abilities, but she is a seer. No, I wouldn't call having premonitions as a Seer. A Seer doesn't need to touch things to see the future or be near the person that she's seeing them about. Phoebe *tried* to be one early in the series, but quickly found out that that wasn't her power. |

This does not make sense to me. You're saying that because Phoebe has to touch an object in order to see the future . . . she's not a seer?
No. This does not make any sense, whatsoever. As far as I'm concerned, Phoebe is a seer.

Phoebe is a seer. Even Kyra had to touch things in the beginning of her learning. Phoebe's path was just different than most seers. She was Charmed and also needed more defensive fighting skills to go along with them.

I agree with ljones and pixiesunbelle. Phoebe is a Seer, her powers just don't develope because she is too busy trying to find her baby daddy.
The first Seer from season 4 could have also saw her death early before she started manipulating Cole and Phoebe. She probably thought drastically changing the future would prevent her from dying.
