I'm probably not going to make it online now until after Christmas so I wanted to take the time now to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Merry Christmas to you, Lexi, and all the other CCers! Like you, I probably won't get a chance to get online until at least Saturday, maybe even Sunday. So, since we're getting so close to Christmas, I decided to include the links to my favorite Christmas videos. If anyone else wants to include their own favorites, I'd love a chance to watch! Of course the best part of posting these is in order to get the video links, I get to watch them myself! This first one is my favorite original Christmas song written by and here sung live by my favorite group. I get drooly just watching this guy sing, and I love the song. Alabama - Santa Claus (I Still Believe In You)Although there is a video of the Wilson sisters doing this song, I like this one better. It always gets me teary. Those old enough to remember The Beach Boys *jumps up and down and raises hand* these are Brian Wilson's two daughters - Carnie and Wendy. Hey Santa - The Wilson Sisters This next one makes a lot of people roll their eyes, but I love it, especially this time of the year. I think it makes me snuffle because it makes me miss my mom. And I like this version a lot better than the one based on the Made-for-TV movie based on the song. The Christmas Shoes - NewSongAnother one that makes me snuffly. The little girl sounds so much like my niece, and the song reminds me of my nephew in Iraq. I told you guys about how he surprised us on Christmas Eve. This song make me think of that. Bring Him Home, Santa - The Song TrustThis one reminds me of one more snuffly song. Not quite sure if this is actually true or just Urban Legend, but I can hope that it is. Fair warning - it takes a bit for the song to start, but if you can wait, the video is more than worth it! Belleau Wood - Garth BrooksTime to get away from the snuffles - well, sorta! Belleau Wood reminds me of this one - I always get snuffly at the end! Snoopy's Christmas - The Royal GuardsmenAnd, oh, yes, then there's this one, one of my all-time favorites when I was just a kid. I ADORE the first movie with them! So here's two versions of the song. The first is the original, the way I remember it: Alvin & the Chipmunks - Christmas Don't Be Late (original TV)And here's the movie version: Alvin & The Chipmunks - Christmas Don't Be Late Remix And that one reminds me of this great one. Wish I could find a clearer version, but, oh I love it! I love watching Fozzie Bear and John Denver! And, of course, you gotta love Miss Piggy, not to mention my own favorite Muppet - Animal! Twelve Days of Christmas - John Denver and the MuppetsFinally, had to include this one - my favorite one about The Reason for the Season. This one just sends shiver down my spine each time I hear it!
