I know your still tweaking but I thought that I would just let you know that the forum width when viewing a thread is too wide.
Plus I think the banner needs to be a pixel wider. hehe
But that's just me being anal.

The size of the board is in percentages. so it will look different on your window. I've been playing with codes all day and I'm still trying to get ride of the board name, forum name, and the message text.

It is taking a insane long time. the funny thing is non of the codes work if I put it in the global header. they only work if I put it in the global footer.

I know what you mean. I think there's one global header if that on my site. I have a very formatted site so that means a lot of codes.

Love the new banner and new/old icons! I'm actually really happy the other icons aren't used. They were hard to read. Oh, I have a minor in digital media and I've been working on websites for a while now...so I think I'll try my hand at making a new layout, though I am not good with graphics...And I really love the ones we have...I may just stick with those and do maybe a lighter theme... Aretha, if you need more help, send me a PM of what you're looking into.  Also, to the posters, let us know what you'd like to see and we'll discuss it. |

Coolness, Assassin -- I'm curious to see what you'd come up with. I  this new look, I really do. It's a vast improvement over the blank whiteness that we had here for awhile. However, and it may just be my (old) eyes, but I find the black text on the gray just a bit hard to read. Is there any way of lightening the text just a smidgen? Please? Since you asked for suggestions / things we'd like to see, I have a couple: - Speaking as a Prue fan, I really miss the theme we had here that matched the banner in her fan club (IIRC, it had varying shades of purple and was very easy on the eyes). As a matter of fact, there are quite a few of us who miss it. Is it possible that that particular theme could be resurrected as an option to this current one?
- In that same vein, if it is possible that the Prue theme can be resurrected, could one be done for each of the sisters that match the banner in their respective fan clubs (Piper's Kitchen, Ask Phoebe, and A Paige for Rose)?
The main board icons (aka the "Old Posts" and "New Posts") wouldn't need to be changed -- just the background colors to match each respective banner. I'd like to see the current theme stay as the default one, but those would be interesting options to give us members a little variety. Again, these are just my suggestions, so do with them as you wish... |

We don't have the old theme...but I'm okay with creating themes based on the four banners for each sister.
I do think this current theme is a little dark...when I get a little more time, I can go in and change the font color. The gray/black is hard to see.

The only problem with fonts and colors is that everyone sees the differently. This is a huge problem with website design. It's taking into consideration of the graphics that people can see and whether people are colorblind grr. It usually does work better to have a variety of skins so that people can choose the different colors and layouts to see which works best for them I'd love to see different themes for each of the sisters and I may have a go at making banners for them - I'm just not so great with graphics yet  |

I just found the different skins in settings and really like them! The pink theme is my fave but I've switched to four sisters for a bit
