I laughed when I saw the girls reaction to Leo telling them that Neena's mate vanished. Sure I don't like how she's going about this, but I think she does have a right to be mad about him vanishing. I wonder if she knows it wasn't by choice. I'm guessing she does, but it is still a question in my mind.
As to Kyle, I'm fairly certain he is dead. I think he let the elders into the land of the dead (whatever it is called on Charmed) where Grams, Patty, Prue, and all other dead characters are. He's moved on and can't leave there (without being summoned), but for some reason the elders can get in there. I suspect if they are there for very long they will be stuck there and be forced to move on, losing their "wings". Of course based off this assumption, I assume that those who didn't make it that far moved on and are now completely dead and they belong in the land of the dead.

really? I'm going to have to re-read this issue if you got that. I will be happy if Kyle is dead dead.

Funny, I'm of a different opinion. Based on a number of different things, I'm beginning to think that despite the whole bit of Kyle trying to avenge his parents in S7, I'm thinking that Paul Ruditis has *Kyle* set up as Neena's mate, the one went to the Upper Planes and happened to be in charge of Up There when Neena decided to attack... So, if I'm right, no, I don't think we've seen the last of Kyle.
ETA: Hehehehe! Something just hit me. *IF* I'm on the right track (and I won't be surprised if I'm not), rather than Kyle, I wish Paul Ruditis had set up *ODIN* as Neena's mate. That would've made it all make *so* much more sense!

Kyle can't be Neena's mate. Leo said the infusion of power from The All made them Immortal and Invulnerable. Neena and her mate can't die - unless they're unbound from the all, I'm assuming. Unless Kyle was previously unbound from the All and managed to get back to Earth I don't think he's her mate. And why would she kill her mate? I think that she's trying to get back to the Higher Realm to be with him, not kill him. I think that this mate will be a new character. Maybe I'm wrong...
@simplypoo Odin is one of the Elders. The one who almost stole Leo away in "The Seven Year Witch".

All I can say is we shall see. On another topic, did anyone notice this quote of Leo's: "The other children they had – the ones that came later – had no powers to speak of. But they and their descendants could tap into the magic as witch practitioners. In very rare cases, these non-magical descendants can give birth to a full witch. But this can upset the grand design." I'm beginning to think that Charlotte Warren was a witch practioner who gave birth to a full witch - Melinda Warren. Hence the reason why she's counted as the first of the Warren/Halliwell line. On a totally different topic - did anyone else think that The All seemed an awful lot like Star Wars' The Force? Not that borrowing bothers me as much as others - there's no such thing as a totally original thought - just curiosity.

I think "the all", "the force", and "the universe" are all basically the same thing. It's such a old concept that I think writers just give it different names to fit with their stories.
