Sounds good Chick, cant wait!! You have some really good ideas!! Whats a colourisation?? (AKA 'colorization') It's where you have a black and white photo and you have to make it a coloured one however you can.  can we start the comp now? Not quite yet, I think we need to do some more advertising to get some more people to take part so there can be more rounds. |

Hello all,
I just thought I'd let you all know that my move was a success, and we are now happily in our new apartment. There is still some organizing and unpacking to do, but we have a year to get everything the way we want it. Plus we need to wait to get some things like a couple of bookshelves for some of the stuff.
Anyway I am not online at the apartment at this moment. Right now I am sitting in a Panera, tapping into their access. I am not sure when we'll be getting the net at home with my job changing soon, and waiting to see what our income will look like. Hopefully I'll be able to get it in a month or so. Hope all is well with you all. Hope to be back on a regular basis soon. Until then what do you all think of my latest work? I posted it on a separate string. If you see it, please leave feedback. Thanks.

Thats good CCT, im glad to hear it!! Moving is always a pain!! We are trying to find a house to move into at the moment unit's are too small so yeah wish me luck!! I applied for one today so hopefully all goes well!! Anywho back onto the topic of the graphics competition, id like to help in anyway i can just let me know if you want me to do anything Clare. |

Oops, sorry I've been very absent from the forum for the past couple of months - I've been finishing my 1st year of University which meant (starting and) finishing assessments and everything!  I'll be going on holiday in a couple of weeks for 1 week but I'm gonna try my hardest to get this comp sorted and ready to be started in about 3 weeks time if that's alright with everyone? *update*First of all, another apology for not getting this competition started yet. The reason I've been absent for the past 2 months is that shortly after I came home from my holiday both my Grandma and Grandad were taken to hospital within a couple of weeks of each other. They're both still in hospital now, although they are slowly getting better. So, for the past 6 weeks or so I've been helping out with my family and that meant that I haven't really been able to do anything constructive. However, there's not as much I can do to help now so I feel like it's time to get this competition ready to be started. I've decided that I will not enter this competition myself but I will take part as one of the judges. For this "(Unnofficial) Cafe Graphics Challenge", I will need 3 more judges to join me on the panel. Our votes will count 50% to the overall scores. Anyone who is interested in this position (only if you do not want to enter the challenge yourself), please send me a PM telling me that you would like to be a judge. Also, anyone who is thinking of entering the challenge, please reply to this thread stating so. I will give a hint to what the 1st round of the challenge will entail - creating a signature/avatar set with a certain theme. The more entrants the better as it will make the challenge more fun and competetive. I will write up some basic rules, make some adverts, etc. for the challenge ASAP and then as soon as enough people have expressed interest and I have 3 more judges - the Challenge can begin! Till then, hope you're all well.

Ohhh yay!! How exciting!!! I'm not sure whether I want to enter the comp yet or just be a judge?!?!?!? Decisions decisions!! I'll get back to you on that one but this is VERY exciting!
