Hey guys. As you may or may not know, I'm writing a 'next generation' series based on Piper, Phoebe and Paige's children, set 20 years after the "Ultimate Battle", entitled "Charmed Again". I know I should be writing the series right now, but I'm currently addicted to using After Effects, and I decided to try and make my own promotional video for the series. So far I only have one section finished, that being the section of the promo that details Phoebe's daughters: Penny, Charlotte and Grace. Please take a look and tell me what you think =] Constructive criticism would be most appreciated! www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gy27_H_8-JA

They're good! Although if I'm honest, I don't like your casting of Ellen Page, I don't know, I just don't think she fits in as well as the other two.

After watching Juno I know that Ellen could pull off a sarcastic and slightly insecure teenager, which is Grace all over.
Would you say it's the actress herself that doesn't fit into the flow of the sequence, or the clips I used of her? I could easily use a different clip for her "Ellen Page" clip.
I'm glad you didn't harp on about my characters names not all beginning with a "P". Am I the only one who thinks that having six female cousins in the same generation with their first names beginning with "P" would have been so BORING? I decided to mix it up a bit, since Wyatt and Chris broke the naming tradition anyway.

Hmm yeah, just compared to the rest of them she doesn't fit in as a sister. Might just be me seeing her in Juno I suppose, she comes across as a very sort of 'only child' character if you can see what I'm getting at?
But yes I am glad, personally out of all the sisters I thought Phoebe was less of a traditionalist than Prue, Piper and Paige.

I've updated the intro slightly. I think this one flows a bit better, but I'm still unsure about the number of scenes I've used for Grace ... seems like one too many.

I do like that version better.
P.S - Just a tip, you have the correct font for the actresses' names. BUT if you watch the credits you will notice that Holly Marie Combs for example is stylized as:
HOLLY MARIE COMBS not Holly Marie Combs.
Write the actresses' names in full capital letters and just make the font size of the first letter in their first and surnames bigger.
It just makes it look more realistic.

Funnily enough that's exactly what I did in regards to font sizes but I had to scale the text up by 220% because it was just too small in After Effects. Ah, block capitals! I knew my text was missing something Thank you!
