Charmed on the MIA network

Does anyone know anything about the MIA network? I was browsing TVGuide.com and looking at Charmed. There is a TV column called Ask Ausiello and on a couple of posts/responses in Oct of last year they refer to a ninth season of Charmed on this MIA network. They also refer to additional episodes of other shows, which are no more, like Tru Calling.

So, what's up with this? Obviously, they are not shooting any more episodes and haven't since April of 06, so is this some fancy splicing of scenes together to hobble together new episodes? I've seen trailers done like this for fictional ninth seasons on another sister site to this one.

Anyway, if anyone has the scoop on this and would share, that would be interesting news.

Matt Roush is worse, though. Someone wrote into Roush's comment inquiring about the chances of a Charmed Sons spinoff, and Roush basically wrote in his response that the reader needed to "grow up."
