Kayey Cuoco: Charmed Vs 8 Simple Rules- The acting

Ok, i don't know if this will be allowed or not, but, as a Kayley ( not billie) fan i was just wondering what those few 8 simple rules viewers thought of her acting in 8SR to Charmed.

For me her acting in 8SR wasnt particuarly good untill after her dad was killed. And i know alot of people will argue that the emtion that she showed during the first couple of episodes after the actors death wasn't her acting skills, but her true emotions for the actor and his tragic death. But then again Kayley was able to turn off her emotions and turn them back on when needed, and i put that down to her skills as a actress.

Kayley Cuoco is a really intelligent women, and i know myself that dumbing yourself down in a bimbo is really hard to do, and Kayley did a great job of playing Bridgitte.
Billie however, not such good acting, and i am not bashing the actress in any way shape or form, but Kayley strikes me as the sort of actress that doesnt work well with Special Affects, or at least isnt her strongest point.

Kayley is a fantastically beautiful women, and perhaps part of the reason she was brought it was because of her looks, and as i have stated before i am not a huge fan of Billie, but i didn't hate her.

What do you all think.

Kaley played the role of Bridget Hennessey phenomenally!

The difference, of course, is that Bridget was intended to be a ditzy character, whereas Billie wasn't.

Seeing Kaley in only 8SR and Charmed, her acting was pretty bad in Charmed compared to 8SR.

I think that her role in 8sr was better fitting for her than Charmed.

Well I never watched 8 Simple Rules, but IMO in Charmed she sucked. Remember her crying scene?

i dont think i saw that episode of S8. In 8 simple rules she was really good, i loved her and i did become a Kayley Cuoco fan. and i still am, i just aint a billie fan

Oh yes, but i cant remember much of s8. It's not memorable at all. The only reason i want the box set is for the extras

I loved Kaley in 8SR because that's what she's best at, comedy. She's not such a good dramatic actress.

Well, if Kaley really is better suited for comedy, then perhaps she'll be an improvement in her new CBS series, The Big Bang Theory.

I have not seen 8SR but i thought she was the worst actress they could have brought into the show. Does anyone know if she has even been to acting school?

If she did, it probably was the same school Rose McGowan and Drew Fuller went to...

Obviously they chose a comedic actress because the show had become a farce of itself. They should've chosen a dramatic actress.

I love 8SR, i dont love billie. i love Kayley in Big bang Theory. Kayley is a MUCH better comedy actress than drama!

I prefer Kayley in 8SR. She was fantastic at portraying the spoilt blonde bimbette!

I agree her crying scene when she killed Christy at the end was terrible! There werent any tears and it was more like a sarcastic laugh!

i love her in 8sr and in charmed i liked billy as a characterbut the acting i really bad, the other night i had a friend over and we watched that episode and we toatally new it was fake and i think she used the stuff that makes your eyes water.

I totally agree with you Es, the producers chose funny eye candy actresses rather than outstanding dramatic actresses.

For Paige I would of had Jennifer Love Hewitt any day of the week, she is an amazing actress compared to Rose.

For some reason I can't picture J.L.H as Paige. Although she played in that series "Ghost Whisperer." I do like her though. I wonder how she do if she played that part.
