Not sure if this is the right spot to put this - go ahead and move it if it's not, but I really do like the new setup, with the site news boards together, the discussion boards together, the character discussion boards (including Fan Clubs) together, and the Fan-Made stuff together. It should make it a lot easier for newbies to find what they're looking for.

Reminds me of the times I was trying to find the threads about who's been blessed. I could never find them, so one time when it was at the time I bookmarked one in order to locate the board.

I think it's more classic Cafe, isn't it? I'm sure Es knows what I mean.
I remember it being more like this many years ago now and then I think when Aretha stepped aside, and it became more compacted.

*nods* Yes, I know what you mean. Gotta admit I don't like the pink background as much as the grey - it's harder on these old eyes.

Oh, are you looking at the new skin, Es? lol It is a very pink one. I'll try to make another when I have more time. I just wanted something lighter than the other one.

I've got to admit that I prefer something a little lighter than the grey we had but this is very bright! But then the problem with colors is everyone reacts in different ways to them.

Yeah, colors do show up differently on different computers and eye sights. That's why there are multiple skins. In time, we'll have more.

I like these colors. They're more neutral, because the pink wasnt really my thing.

I for one did not like the side bar, it was distracting to me. On my computer the skin is now white but that's great as black stands out on it. I had a hard time reading the black on grey.
I guess I missed the pink as I had to do a weekend in Modesto last weekend. One of my nephews got married. It was alot of fun as it's always aparty when my family gets together.
Anyway, I'm off again as this weekend is a three day weekend. This time to Burlingame for a gaming convention.

There's a full new skin that's pink, on top of the main skin. At least we still have all the other elements from the sidebar on the board! And, some more rearranging happened. Hope you like that. |
