Piper. I loved her growing with the responsibilities which were given to her. Not easy sometimes but she managed at the end and I think that counts.

I've always loved Piper. She went from a nervous wreck to a strong, independent woman over the course of the series, and I love watching that transition. She grows so much. Prue's death really toughened her up for the better, in my opinion.

I love Paige, Prue, Phoebe, and Piper. All the sisters are great characters, but if I had to choose a favorite, it would be PHOEBE.
I just love her sweet, sassy, fun-loving, friendly, and warm personality. ;D

Just as the original P3 are leading the seasons vote, they are also leading this vote too. Proves that Connie obviously had something that Kern didn't. I think this is unfair Dan. You can't judge who did what right on just the poll of about ten/fifteen people, when a lot (I'd say almost 70%) of this board are very anti-Kern and enjoy Kern-bashing. If this was a poll, with say 100,000 Charmed fans, that would be a more accurate representation and you would be able to come up with a hypothesis then. |

Your probably right but this is what the members of the Charmed Cafe think and that is all that is important right now. But your probably right, it might be a little more balanced if we widened the question out to other fans.

I throw a monkey wrench into that assumption anyway, since I prefer Paige to Prue.
EDIT:
And I prefer post-season 3 Piper to pre-season 4 Piper.

Prue, simply because she died to protect an innocent (even if it was in vain) and I don't think she would have regretted it had she been summoned. Prue did regret her choices before the timeline was changed. She didn't regret trying to save Dr. Griffiths. She did regret the choices she made that led to them being exposed. I can't say that I agree. I thought that Piper made a piss-poor leader and was sometimes too bitchy for her own good. |

Completely agree with ljones, on both points. I never disliked Piper but I lost a lot of respect for her during the final two seasons and I kind of wish she had got the chance to remain the middle sister cause that was when she was at her best.

Piper in the first season is my favourite. A close second is Phoebe in that same season.
I'll do each season-
Season 1- Piper
Runner up- Phoebe (very close)
Season 2- Phoebe
Runner up- Piper (very close- the love triangle did her no favors, but still like her)
Season 3- Prue
Runner up- Piper (less close this time)
Season 4- Paige
Runner up- Piper
After that, I'm not sure I really had a favourite. For the most part, I could stand Paige the most... but I dunno, calling her my favourite might be stretching it a bit. While she's often the most bearable by far, I'd only really consider s4 a good Paige season. If they'd given her more attention instead of just leaving her to flip flop once they knew she'd saved them from cancellation, she may well have been a favourite for me later on.

Ooh this will be interesting. Though I already know who my favorite is from 4 onwards lol.
Season 1 - Piper
Season 2 - Phoebe
Season 3 - Prue
Season 4+ - Paige
Huh, I guess they all get a turn!
Thinking about it the one thing that ruined the sisters bar Prue was love, or more specifically, romantic love. Piper was great until the Leo and Dan triangle, Phoebe was great until Cole and Paige was my favorite except when she was in a relationship except for Henry, couldn't stand her when she was with Kyle, Richard etc.

I ultimately picked Paige, but I'd actually divide my favorites up more like this:
Seasons 1-2: Phoebs
Season 3: Prue
Seasons 4-8: Paige
Even by Seasons 3 and 4, Piper and Phoebe were quickly turning into vile, selfish creatures, and they only grew worse after that. Even at her ditziest, Paige usually still cared about innocents and her Charmed duties, and her character always had a lot of potential, even if most of it was missed.
Still, it's hard to beat early season Phoebe (aka. Phoebs), who loved magic and helping others and cared about things other than her wildly unrealistic celebrity job and the latest Hunk of the Week. If I could separate her from Season 3-later PhoeME, I probably would've picked her instead of Paige.

However I expect Kern would of ruined Prue, we would of been spared phoebe and cole. Id been happy it was ended after season 5, when Shannen wouldn't renew, in turn holly follows and rose gets her two year dream she wanted. Win for all. |

In fact, I would've rather seen Zankou as the main villain than Mr. Whiny Half-Face, anyways... |

Easily Prue. There are certain moments and episodes where the other sisters are comparable, but Shannen was able to convey such sincerity through her acting that it was difficult to follow. Holly comes the closest. The others? By and large, no.
