For me Piper season 1 Phoebe season 2 Piper close 2nd. Prue season 3 and Paige 4 onwards only 'cause she cared more about innocents then.

Piper has always been my favorite sister! I love how strong and confidante she became as the series went on. I do love all of the sisters though for different reasons. I just connect more with Piper.

Piper without doubt
I love the way she grows into the strong and gentle woman of the last season
After Prue's death, she had to drop out of her shy and insecure personality, it was hard, a great forcing

She was, gentle and caring
For example, I'ld remember her attentions to Billie, she even dealt with her parents, or the organitation of the engagement party of Paige
Piper often expresses her feelings and love with actions, especially cooking
Since Something Wicca This Way Comes she thinks she'ld reconcilie her sisters making a fabulous reunion dinner

I liked early season Piper, but later with the normal life broken record (I understand sweetheart but its just not happening for you or your children), her not binding or at least taking a better stance with Wyatt's powers, the Leo abuse, poor guy and her refusal to use her freezing power when it made sense (though one could chalk that up to dumbing her down for plot reasons) I find it difficult to like her in later seasons. I never minded her snarkiness or anything, its her actions that bother me. The last time I remember her being super kind to someone that wasnt her children was when she was amusingly feeding Christy to bursting, which I found pretty cute. But look how that turned out, with using her explosive power on the girl instead of just grabbing her and then later throwing a potion at the Jenkins....

If Piper truly cared about Christy, then she would've tried to bind Christy's powers and save her instead of killing her. And, she would've cared a heck of a lot more about innocents, in general, instead of constantly whining and moaning about not having a "normal life," yet not actually doing a damn thing to help that.  |

Christy was killed by Billie in self-defense, Piper Paige and Phoebe had refrained from interposing between the two sisters
Billie had asked her sister to go back with her and none of the CO stood up against,it was Christy that decided to attack them, in step with character, strong and ruthless
A milk and honey end, with kisses, hugs and tears, it'ldn't have been worthy of Christy, a great bad girl

Phoebe all the way. She is so funny, smart, and kind. Alyssa Milano is the only person who could ever play Phoebe.

I was/am a fan of all of them. At least in S1-3.
Interestingly. Phoebe was my fave when I first watched the Charmed decades ago. Then upon re watches. Piper become my fave for many years. And in recent years, my favorite is definitely Prue. I guess in my case my faves changed as I got adult.
Paige was just there. lol She got the short end of the stick for being introduced so late in the series. And then got ignored for the Source story line in the same season she was introduced. Where they just copied Prue's lines/behavior and gave it to her. And then she got stuck with horrible writing as did all characters in the show.
So now (and this time I don't see that chaining any time soon) my favorite is Prue. I love how loyal and protective she is of her sisters/family. I love how she is opinionated. And will tell it to your face how it is. How she will stand up for herself and others. How she protected the innocents. How she shows vulnerability and strength.
I love how she grew as a character from S1 to S3. How she become more relaxed and dropped the mother figure she was forced to carry. She is a badass.

Was Phoebe, then Piper, and now back to Phoebe. I've always liked Paige. Prue gets on my nerves, sometimes. Although, I think Piper is the absolute worst sister, for me. My order goes:
Phoebe > Paige > Prue > Piper
I love the morally grey sister that's not all black and white and learned such a harsh lesson about "what having powers" REALLY means, and if it's worth all that sacrifice.
I (also) love Paige's individualism. She definitely took more of the solo approach than just having to do things, as a collective. Which, I get is supposed to be Charmed, but we really don't need that same tired out storyline, for all 8 seasons. It's OK to adapt the storyline, a little bit.
That being said, I never liked nor favored Prue, ever but as of late, she's definitely better than Piper. I can tolerate a hypocrite over a lousy spouse (I'm putting this lightly).

It's so similar for me too, I always had a different favorite. Grew up loving Phoebe, but now Prue takes the #1 spot. I feel like it's easier to understand her and relate to her now.
Overall: Prue > Phoebe > Paige > Piper.
Throughout the seasons: S1 Phoebe, S2 Phoebe & Prue, S3 Prue, S4-8 Paige.
I liked Piper in the first three seasons (even s2, despite the love triangle), but then she gradually became more and more unbearable. She has some amazing moments and yeah I guess that she does go through subtle character development (emphasis on subtle, since the storyline of her wanting normalcy repeats itself in every season), but never really loses the traits that make her my least favorite sister. Don't get me wrong, they're all flawed, but at least the other sisters work on their flaws and on improving themselves.
Phoebe goes through a decline as well, sadly. But that's also been talked about a lot. Pre-Cole Phoebe I will miss you forever.
And Paige's character is...messy, but lovable. She stands out to me in the later seasons compared to Piper and Phoebe because I didn't like the direction in which their characters were going, and on the other side there was Paige, a completely new character, a blank slate, half-witch half-whitelighter...grew up as an only child...unfamiliar not just to magic but to the new family dynamic. And yet so willing to help people, and to be a part of the community. She could've been better, yes, but I still loved her a lot. Now that I think of it, she could probably replace Phoebe as my second favorite, but I'm too attached to Phoebe due to nostalgia.
Prue is her own tier. Not a perfect character by any means, but to me the most appealing out of the four. Her negative traits (at the beginning of the show) are bearable, because they're justified (with a backstory) and acknowledged and set a foundation for her character growth. I'm always wondering though, if she would've suffered the same fate as Piper and Phoebe had she been in the show beyond season 3.

I am actually pretty shocked that Prue and Phoebe are tied for first place at this point. I find most people on this board prefer Prue and most people in real life/other places online prefer Piper.
Come through Phoebe fans!
I think Phoebe is the character people love most and hate most at the same time. The Phoebe era's fans love they really love and the era's of Phoebe fans hate they really hate.
