Marry-Go-Round (Piper talks about how Prue crashed her wedding on a Harley) Don't forget Prue was also mentioned in this episode when Paige runs to Piper's bedroom, and Paige shows her that death will be in store for Cole and Phoebe's future, acc to the tarot cards. And Piper says "Oh, please, this looks nothing like Death. Prue met him, I know." -How she said that was so funny!

Oh another Prue mention in season 6.. Prince Charmed - Talking about a charm bracelet that was Piper's favorite that Prue lost it. I swear they really tried to make Prue look like a bad person after she was gone.

I know Look at this ex. from "Marry Go Round" Phoebe: "And then Prue crashed through the front door on a Harley." Piper: "'Yeah, only Prue could make my wedding day all about her...." Piper would never ever say that, what is wrong with these writers!

Exactly. I thought that was horrible to have that in a line especially said by Piper and especially in the season right after her death.

Yeah but if you listen to how Piper says that line she is being sarcastic and is joking around as if she were teasing Prue.

No, I don't think she sounded so sarcastic. I would hope that she was, but it didn't sound like it.

To me it sounded like how she would say it if Prue were there and she said it just to tease her. Everytime I've seen that clip I just think Piper's teasing...maybe it takes a sarcastic person to know one

You really don't think Piper would have said that about Prue? Come on! That's so Piper. She clearly meant it facetiously. And, Piper is a master of being facetious. But, okay! Certainly, Phoebe could have said that line, too! In the event, it's not meant maliciously. It's a fun reference to an episode that was pretty good. Prue's alter ego busting up the wedding! Prue as biker babe!
And, p3charm is probably correct. It helps to have a sarcastic sense of humor to understand what Piper means. This is so classic Piper that I can't believe anyone would believe that Piper would never say such a thing! Piper often - nearly every episode - makes some sarcastic wisecrack or another.

yes, piper has a sarcastic type of humor, but it still comes across as prue being selfish. it wasn't exactly her fault that her alter decided to have some fun at that time... prue just had some things to deal with and realize. it was awful that it happened then, but well, i just don't think poper would have said it like that had the writers been true to their (prue/pipers) relationship.

The writers just screw everything up, and they forget.Piper would never ever ever say that about Prue. I don't even think Phoebe would come to say that intentionally.

I guess it really does take a sarcastic person to know one.
If ya'll haven't noticed in the past 8 years Piper is a very sarcastic person and I can honestly say that chances are she was saying it as if she was teasing her sister because she would never actually say that if she meant it as an insult. She would never insult her older sister...especially like that when she's dead.

I know she would never insult Prue. And I know very well that Piper is a very sarcastic person. And when Piper said "'Yeah, only Prue could make my wedding day all about her...." I am sure she was being sarcastic, it just didn't sound like it. Phoebe does not laugh and Piper didn't laugh afterwards or anything. Piper continues to say " But the point is, I barely remember the ceremony, it's a total blur. And in the end all that matters is that you marry the guy that you love...." I guess it does take a sarcastic person to know lol. And you are right, I am sure she was being sarcastic, I just did not pick up on that.

In sarcasm, there is a measure of truth. However, Piper making this comment affirms two things. First, her comment is meant to reassure Phoebe who, as we know, is totally obsessed with having everything go just fabulously. Piper's reference to Prue is intended as a reminder to Phoebe that things can go wrong. Second, her comment is a loving reminder of her older sister. You know, when a loved one passes, both the good and the bad are remembered. I tend to believe that we underplay the bad and tend to see it in a humorous light. Sarcasm helps express that humor.
And, as for Prue being selfish, although I do not believe that was Piper's intention in the least, let me say that as the oldest Prue would have been expected to marry first. Indeed, the dark wedding that Prue had did manage to preempt Piper and Leo's nuptials. However, Prue had no role to play in the dark wedding. And, her role in the biker episode is one of internal conflict. Prue has taken on such immense responsibilities as the prime breadwinner and main witch. As Paige correctly noted in Season 5 - I believe - when she (Paige) was a full-blown witch, she still felt she came up short in comparison to Prue. Why? Because Prue had a full time job, while Paige was jobless. Prue's actions, as Piper knows all too well, came from a witch out of balance. Prue was heading for a breakdown, only what she got was an astrally projected alter ego. Balance had to be restored. Prue was not being selfish, nor does Piper believe so.

Yea that quote did seem a bit insulting, but I never really took mind of it. I always thought of that as Piper's joking side, even though it does kinda irk me now that there is a convo on it.
Anyway, did anyone hated Gideon even more when he stoped Phoebe from kicking Barbus' butt when he said something about Prue in episode 6x19(Crimes and Witch-Demeanors)? That could have been a great scene if Gideon didn't stop her.*cough* writers fault *cough*. I mean I would have loved to see Phoebe say: "How dare you!, You have no right to even say her name" Then she goes on a rampage and forces those "Higher Beings" to calm down. If Piper was in that scene I could picture her saying that kind of stuff too. Anyway I began to hate Gideon more and more after that episode.

Phoebe should have kicked Barbus's butt, and should've sent him back to hell where he belongs. It was totally worth it. Here is the scene if anyone isn't sure: During the council the hollagrams appears to the scence where Andy was killed in Déjà vu All Over Again . When the hollagram ends, Barbus goes along and says..... Barbas: "Truly tragic. That was their sister Prue's first true love. I wonder whatever happened to her." (Phoebe goes to stand up.) Gideon: "Don't. It's not worth it."

Sounds like someone needs to write an alternative scenario to Crimes and Witch Demeanors.

I know! I'm glad they added that scene in Crimes and Witches demeanor where they mentioned Prue. I love the famous Prue "mentions", it shows that the writers honor Prue's memory, who was a major part of Charmeds early days.

It's like she never existed...was never a sister, a Charmed One...
