^ I am going to have to agree with you on that, she is a very inspiring actress she has inspired me to become an actress!!!
I think all the charmed-ones inspire me in meny different ways!!!
Has anyone been inspired to do something or say something or become something because of Shannen Doherty??? |

I was wondering if anyone had a nice, high-quality picture of when Prue was using her powers to make the pipe hit the demon in "Blind Sided." I went to screencap-paradise.com and they had a couple, but the ones they had were when Prue had just begun to move the pipe, then they skipped the pic I want and went to where it hit the demon and when he went flying backwards, flipping once or twice. I'm looking for one where her arm is completely extended and the pipe is already moving.

I watched Breaking up and i dont really understand. If someone wants to break up they go to Shannen. As much as i love Shannen i think it is a bit strange how she meddles in relationships. I know that i would be pretty annoyed if my boyfriend did that to me, especially on TV

My favorite Shannen Doherty work is charmed of course. I have seen Satan's school for girls and breaking up with shannen doherty. I love all of her works. she is a very good actress.

But i don't understand something..
The Charmed ones call for their mother and grams.
But they don't ever call for Prue....
When Prue died i always though, oooh they will call prue one time.
But she came never as a spirit, becouse i look up to that...
But Charmed was everytime very cool!

Heyy, just wanted to say im a fan of Shannen, she is one of the best actresses!!Prue was my fav in charmed, was gutted when she left, my favourite episodes are the ones with Shannen in, i really love miss hellfire and which prue is it anyway =] x newayy im sorta new here sooo im a bit lost lol!! xx

dont worry, we've all been newbies at one point. Welcome to the forum anyhoo.
I have to say Shannen wasnt my favourite, i am a Holly fan myself, but Shannen definatly brought something to the show.
I think that with Shannen only lasting three seasons, i think the other girls especially Aylssa will get more jobs. Because lets face it, in Hollywood looks sell, and Shannen, as gorgeous as she is, is no Alyssa, even if she is a fantastic Actress. I dont know what Shannen will do now, i just hope that all of the Charmed ladies dont stay off our screens for long

Time to gush! Okay, I love Shannen Doherty (although I never used to). I think she gets an uber bad rep for someone she was a long time ago. She's grown up and people need to give her credit.
I've NEVER seen her in anything other than Charmed, Mallrats (which I don't remember) and Beverly Hills 90210.
I will say this about her departure. I've struggled with why she left Charmed but I've come to this conclusion; Shannen Doherty is a serious actor who wants to do serious acting.
The signs were ALL there. From her comment how the "Ms. Hellfire" was darker and that's the kind of thing she wanted to do. Rumours also persist that she wanted off in season two. My best guess is she didn't want to be Prue Halliwell for all eternity. She wanted to do more with her life.
She's also said that she doesn't like working with people who are always arguing and who aren't serious enough. People who don't take their job seriously. I'm not sure if she was referring to actors or the producer (Brad Kern or maybe Aaron Spelling).
I think it was all just a really bad scene. I think it was nice that HMC really faught (she was going to walk, Shannen was her BF).
As for what she owns, she owns properties she directed four (or was it three?) episodes. She's also choreographed an episode. So she's probably been in on the writing process too. Makes sense she has a percentage of the rights.

This will make me sound stupid, I'm sure, please forgive me. I've watched Charmed from the beginning, missing a few episodes here and there. The one I still haven't seen is the episode in which Prue dies. I watched reruns, and now have the DVD's, and I still can't watch it. The last episode on disc six of season three is the "All Hell Breaks Loose Episode." It ends as the time loop is put in place, Prue and Phoebe go flying through the wall, the Dr. is killed, and Phoebe is stuck in the underworld. It is definitely a "to be continued..." episode. The first episode of the fourth season begins with Prue already being dead and introducing Paige. Will somebody please tell me what I am missing and where I can watch the end. I'm going a little crazy. This search of mine has been going on for some time. Thanks ahead of time.

You watched the end. Prue died at the end of All Hell Breaks loose. That was the last episode Prue was ever in, so you have not missed anything.

I don't want to sound mean, but I seriously doubt that Scare tactics and Breaking up with Shannen Doherty were any more serious than Charmed.

Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty has less fluff than seasons 5-8 of Charmed combined. It may have its moments of being odd but Doherty is the executive producer and host of the show.
By serious actor, here's what I meant. She likes her job and she dedicated to it. She's a hard worker. This has been said many times by her co-workers (like Brian Krause) and by television shows (on E! True Hollywood Story... how much of that is true is actually unknown). Even on Entertainment Tonight, she said that there were people on set who came to work and complained all the time. She wants to do her job and do it to the best she can. She may not be getting movie scripts left and right or chances to do clothing lines for sports teams *cough* but she is doing something to get by.

A couple of interesting things turned up in the Ask Brad interviews in the latest Charmed mag #18. One is a better answer as to why not even a photo of Prue appears on the wall (and explains why no clips showing SD's face, even from old episodes, ever appear in any post S3 episodes). Apparently, if any image of an actor appears, even a photo on the wall, according to Brad Kern, the actor must then be paid (or, and I'm supposing this, is entitled to get) a full episode's compensation. Since we've all heard how strapped they were in the budget, this, again according to Brad, would have blown the budget for any S8 episode. So, it was either have the other cast member, guest stars, etc appear or a picture of SD. He says the decision was an obvious no brainer and I agree, given those caveats and restrictions.
This also explains why SD could not be in the last episode. It was either her or all the other family members and getting Leo (the other BK) back.

Really? I don't have that issue yet. That kind of sounds like a bad excuse almost. Surely, they would have tried to have a guest-spot for SD when they actually had a budget.
I hate to say it, but maybe the finale would have been nice to reunite all four sisters together... I'm just saying. Surely, that "picture" could have been something more had they worked something out with Doherty.
