Who's Deb? That's not their mother, is it?
I'm surprised I don't hate Ethan... I mean he's not the greatest guy but I guess I feel sorry for him because I think he genuinely likes Annie but he can't be with her because of Naomi.
Has anyone else noticed that the actress who plays Naomi does this stupid half-crying face EVERY episode? It makes me laugh to no ends because it's supposed to be sad.
I still have a hard time liking Silver because half the time she acts like a snot who thinks she's better than everyone else. She tries to be anti-Beverly Hills but she's just as Hollywood as everyone else. If anything, she's more "in-style" than the rest. That's just my opinion.

I believe Lori's charrie's name is Deb.
It was a bit strange with Naomi's mom. But, I can see the logic behind it. She thinks it's couple-times-a-year type of thing. And now the other woman is moving into the beach house. LIVING IN BH. It's not just a couple-times-a-year thing anymore. it's a reality check for her.
The actress who plays Naomi is not a good one. Granted, neither is Annie's. ugh.

It's too bad Hilary Duff never took part in the series as rumours suggested... she would have been relatively interesting. I know a lot of people don't really like her but at least she's better than most young celebrities out there.
Yeah... the parents are leaving much to be desired... they're too... "default parents". They have no substance yet... with the pilot of the original we got a sense of who the parents were. This show is guilty of poor organization. It works about five storylines in one episode instead of one MAIN plot and a couple subplots. They have Naomi's parents sitch, Annie's feelings about Ethan, Dixon getting a new job/flirtations with Silver, Kelly/Ryan and the play storylines all going on at once...

I think she sings too hard... it bugs me. I'm totally on-board for the too-thin controversy. I think Shenae and Jessica look wayyyyyyyyyyyy too freaking thin it bugs me a lot.They look unhealthy and that's just not right.

Who knows. I just hope both girls get help. It's really not healthy. AND! Gossip Girl's the one with someone who had an eating disorder in the past, and no problems. By that, I mean in the show. But, I doubt they're really going to continue down that road *sighs* but *shrugs* I do hope they get better. More weight on them. I may not love the show and I may hate Annie, but I would never want something serious to happen to the actress. Besides, Silver is my reason for staying with this show, so I hope Jessica eats a cheeseburger.  |

Any opinions on last night's episode?
Personally... I liked certain parts (any scene with Brenda) and also... Dixon's an idiot for thinking Silver's that easy.
Mostly I'm pissed off that they've fallen into the trap of making a girl the "villain" of the show. Why couldn't they have just avoided that? When the show first started out I thought Naomi was going to be the big bitch on campus and then they dodged that. But now they've made Adrianna into an imitation of Valerie (and Emily Valentine) from the original. This is how you can tell a man is writing the show.... anyway.... I thought it was a little too predictable and annoying that it's because of Adrianna's jealousy (which she WOULDN'T have taken out on Annie... she would have taken it out on her mother)
Personally, they should have just had Adrianna overdose backstage forcing Annie to go on and then later have Annie go over to the hotel and decide she just wasn't ready. That would have been more organic because now we're going to have to sit through half a season of teenage fighting.

Dammit. I'm sorry for this guys, but I wanted Annie and Ty to sleep together and him NOT to call and her to cry over it. I wanted it SOOOO bad. PROMOS ARE MISLEADING. I would have laughed my @$$ off so hard. OMG, I was ready for it. And they didn't give it to me.

I'm so glad that Naomi's mother is kicking him out. WIN!
WTF with Ethan giving Naomi a piggy-back ride in school? Gross.
And Annie/Ethan? *throws up* STOP IT! STOP IT! MY EYES! They burn!
And Adrianna has such a better voice than Annie. If only she hadn't taken those drugs before the play.
I like her. *giggles* She put the shower on and he was gone! WIN!

Blah, but Blair isn't a bad girl. She's the b!tch, but super better than Naomi could ever hope to be. The resident baddie is Chuck. (Won Best Villian at the Teen Choice Awards, which is weird because he's not a villian, but whatever. I voted anyways. Ed Westwick owns.)

Isn't Chuck bisexual in the books or something like that but he's not on the show? That would piss me off if I liked the books... (or if I read them). I hate that gay/bisexual characters are so marginalized and stereotyped... or not attractive.
Naomi's not the bitch of the show... but she's more or less the "Cordelia" of the show. Whereas Adrianna is a drug addict's Valerie. Bitches are smart and get back at whose to blame, her getting back at Annie makes NO SENSE. The writers are shittay on this show.

They've changed up some of the charries. Serena's older brother Erik in the books, is now her younger brother Eric who attempted suicide. He's gay. They've had his coming out ep and mentioned of a boyfriend. Hopefully they continue that. I really want a double date with him and BC. I love the books, and I love the show. The differences make them two separate things. Besides, there was no way they'd make one of the three main males gay. Especially since Dan was in love with Serena and Chuck is completely head-over-heels for Blair. Since ep 8. Nate was the only one of the three you could see turning. Because he was always confused. Granted, Chuck was bi. Dan experimented. I'm pretty sure Jenny and Elise experimented. Blair and Serena had a drunken kiss pre-books (wonder if it's in the prequel). It's high school experimentation with the books. They're not going to do that on a CW tv show. Which is why Blair is the best. Because she is smart. And usually goes at people that "deserve" it. Although, Adrianna did it because Annie took her lead. Even though Annie didn't do it on purpose and Adrianna CLEARLY popped some pills beforehand and only has herself to blame. She's not a main charrie, though, is she? I thought she's more of a secondary charrie. |

Lily used to do photography in her groupie/college days. And oh LOOK! Joy. I love Lori, but blah.
My favorite was Brenda's tear after deleting Dylan's name.
And, Kelly and Sammy are going to see Dylan. And I'm leaning more towards her finally leaving him. For good.
And Brandon will come along soon. *nods* I just don't like that Brenda said she'd so visit her brother and his FAMILY. WTF is this family you speak of? And why is he calling Kelly beautiful if he has this "family"? Do not approve!

I haven't seen this. It sounds interesting. I was trying not to get into any new shows cause I already have like 30 shows getting recorded on my DVR. Between me and a few others, but this show sounds interesting. When does it come on?
