Destiny is a Witch

[Jad]

Billie unfroze the moment that the Angel of Destiny left, but she was slow to notice that Leo was now back. Paige was off in her own corner deep in her own thoughts, Piper was enjoying having her husband home, and Phoebe was trying her best to console Billie. Coop just stood there in the middle of everything with a puzzled look on his face.

"Where did Leo come from?" Billie blurted out finally noticing Leo's presence.

"Oh uh," Phoebe tried to find the right words but failed. She looked over at Coop for help.

Coop shook his head no at Phoebe.

"Ok," Billie sniffled, "This is one of the reasons you lost my trust, too many secrets."

Phoebe and Coop were busy trying to come up with something to say, and Billie was pleading with her eyes for someone to clue her into what was happening.

"I'm going over to Dad's with Leo to see my boys," Piper declared breaking her embrace with Leo. He back away a little and looked around the room unsure of what to do.

"What!" Screamed Paige as she stormed out of the attic and down the stairs.

Phoebe got up immediately and followed, but she spoke to Piper as she passed, "Nice going, come on, you're going to be needed to mend this fence."

"What, I just wanted my boys to see their Father," Piper defended herself.

Phoebe stopped in the doorway and turn toward Piper with a stern look in her eye and on her face and motioned for Piper to follow.

Piper looked over at Leo, but he was no help.

Phoebe stomped her foot and said, "Now missy!"

Piper looked at her sister like who are you to tell me what to do, but she followed Phoebe anyway.

Paige was in the foyer looking at the front door when Phoebe found her from the stairs, "I'm glad you haven't left," Phoebe said as she continued down the stairs.

Paige turned toward Phoebe and said, "I put it all on the line to save her husband, but when I need the favor returned, she turns her back on me."

"I heard that," Piper said from the top of the stairs, "And I'm not going to apologize for putting my children first."

Back in the attic after Piper walked out, Leo looked at Coop for guidance. Coop just shrugged his shoulders and shook his head no. He used his eye motion and a slight nod to get Leo to look at Billie who had gotten herself on the couch by now.

Billie looked all kinds of lost and lonely, so Leo went over to her to see what he could do.

Coop used this cue to exit the attic. He walked past Piper just as she was finishing her last statement. When Coop got down the stairs Paige asked, "Can we go back and undo this?"

"Yes we can try, but no guarantees," Coop answered.

"Over my dead body," Spouted Piper, but Paige had already gone over and held Coop's hand. Phoebe was not to long after in following Paige's lead.

"Are you coming," Coop asked.

"Not on your life," Piper answered with a look that would kill if she had that power.

"Just so you know, there's no guarantee that Leo will be here when we return."

"Oh," Piper said like someone had burst her balloon, "Ok, I'll come, but I don't have to like it.

Piper came down the stairs and grasped Phoebe's hand, and all four of them disappeared into a flash of pink.

And away they go once more into the breach...

There's something else going on in this story, have you noticed it. I made a connection that wasn't in the show. So far the connection is only hinted at, but there has been at least three hints though subtle.

Ok, a quick stop to someplace we've already been, then we move on....

So, here is the next installment of the story...

The charmed Ones and Coop flashed into Henry's office to find Henry staring at them in surprise.

"What happened?" Henry asked.

"Henry!" Paige squealled as she ran around his desk and flung herself into his lap.

Paige started to kiss Henry so passionately that even Henry was taken aback.

"Uh um, Paige," Phoebe spoke up, "The man doesn't know what's going on and neither do we."

"Oh," Paige said as she got a hold of herself and backed off of Henry.

"I'm happy to see you too, Paige, but you were just here a few seconds ago. It's like you flashed out and flashed right back in like you never left." Henry explained.

"Are you telling us that we just flashed out?" Asked Coop.

"Um, yeah," Henry replied.

"That's strange," Coop said, "But I guess that's what happens when you loop back to where you once were."

"Do you know the meaning of the word subtle?" Paiige asked as she slapped his chest with her hands over and over again. Paige was quite mad at this point.

Henry just looked confused as if he had no idea what she was talking about, "Sweety," Phoebe interuppted, "Henry has no idea of what's going on. It hasn't happened for him yet."

Paige stopped slapping Henry and looked at her sister finally realizing that he was not at fault, yet.

"I think we should move on," Coop said, "We need to dig deeper and get Henry some help, maybe."

"We can do that?" Paiper asked.

Coop nodded.

"So, what are we waiting for, Paige, let's go," Piper ordered.

"Seven thirty on May 26th, 2006, manor attic, be there," Paige instructed Henry as she walked back to the group to hold hands and disappear in a pink flash from Henry's office.

Henry just sat there confused thinking, what am I marrying into?

LOL@Henry. His last thought is cool!

Well, I'm waiting to see how the sisters will solve all this.

The Garage

The group flashed into the garage of the manor where Leo was hunched over the old pick up truck he'd had Piper buy him only months before. The hood was opened, and that's where Leo was looking and making mental notes to himself about what it was going to take to get the thing running.

Leo saw the pink flash out of the corner of his eye and spun around to see what was up. Realizing who it was he said, "How the?"

But before he could finish, Piper spoke, "Never mind that; we don't have much time, and I need you to do something for us."

"Ok," Leo responded, "But, who is he?"

"This is Coop," Phoebe answered, "He's a Cupid."

"That's not important," Piper continued, "What is important that you leave me a note. You usually write yourself notes when doing a complicated job like this, so get your notepad and pencil and write."

Leo looked at Piper confused and asked, "Why do you need me to leave a note from you to you?"

"Again, not important, and I really can't explain, "Piper explained, "It is all very time sensitive, and that is all I can say on the matter."

"Ok," Leo said as he went to his toolbox and retrieved his notepad and pencil, "Ok, shoot."

"Cristy has been brainwashed by the Triad," Piper started.

"What!" Leo interrupted."

"You're not going to understand it, so no questions," Piper answered, "I'm trying to save us, Ok."

"Oh, Ok," Leo stated as he got ready to write again.

"Help and protect Henry," Piper continued and Paige smiled at Piper for this addition, "The Triad is coming back and like to fake their vanquishings, so don't believe that they are gone once you vanquish them."

"Wow, that's a lot in three short sentences," Leo said finishing up the note."

When he was finished Piper walked over to him and gave him a big overbearing hug which Leo promptly returned.

The rest of the group heaved a collective sigh and waited for them to finish.

With a tear in her eye, Piper released the embrace and rejoined the group.

"Hope to see you soon," Piper said as they left in the pink flash of light.

Back in the Attic Again

The Charmed Ones and Coop flashed back into the attic in front of the book of shadows stand to find Henry sitting on the couch.

Henry looks up from his iphone and said, "Wow, right on time, that's a first for you Paige."

"Very funny Henry," Paige answered, "But I think we have other things to do."

"That's funny in and of itself as you just flashed out of here moments ago, but that's Ok, Coop explained it when before you left."

"What?" Phoebe asked.

"Ut oh, time loops." Coop said.

"Is that going to be a problem," asked Paige.

"Probably not as all loops should merge once the problem has been fixed," Coop answered.

"Probably!" Piper Complained, "That's not good enough. There's too much at stake here, and even the Angel of Destiny is not here with Leo.

"Wow!" Coop exclaimed, "It's like having one conversation with three people, b but I think that Paige got Henry here for a reason, and that is to fill us in on what's up in this time line."

Henry was both amused and confused by the conversation but snapped out of it when Coop said his name, "Well yeah, it seems kind of funny to tell you what you told me, but here goes, we convinced Billie to side with us verses Cristy and the Triad, but Cristy killed Billie and turned into a warlock whom you had to vanquish. But, in some twisted spell that the Triad put on Cristy when you vanquished Cristy, it made the Triad immune to your powers, potions and spells. You and Coop went back in time to reverse all this, but I can tell by your looks, you were unsuccessful."

"Well done Henry," Coop spoke, "You're a good anchor, but alas, we must leave again."

Paige blew Henry a kiss as the four of them joined hands and flashed out in a bright pink light.

Sorry, it took so long for this to get posted, but I have a deadline on Wednesday for another project that has to come first. That, and I really didn't know where the story was going.

Those Whitewashed Walls

The Charmed Ones and Coop flash back into a large stonehall with whitewashed walls. At the far end of the hall, a man sat on a whitewashed stone throne; he held his head in his hand and was deep in thought. The Charmed Ones didn't recognize him becasue his head was lowered.

Coop and the Charmed Ones just stood there and stared for a few seconds. The sisters looked at Coop, and Phoebe asked, "What do you thing we should do?"

"How should I know," Coop answered, "This is some one that one of you love, loved, you know what I mean."

At the sound of voices the figure stirred from the throne and stood up to confront them. It was Cole unshaven and unkept; his skirt was supposed to be white, but it was a yellowish color with smudges of grime here and there. His pants and shoes had also seen better days.

The Charmed Ones stood there in shock and, Phoebe actually hid behind Coop, but Cole broke the ice, "How did you get here? Did you come here to gloat?"

"My friend," Coop said diplomatically, "We are here to seek help to right a great wrong."

"That's rich," Cole started, "They want my help. They are the reason that I'm trapped here, and you're no friend of mine. I don't even know you."

"Sorry Cole, my name is Coop," He answered, "We're having a little trouble with the Triad. they don't seem to stay vanquished."

Cole started chuckle low and quietly, but that didn't last long before he was laughing out loud, "Go Triad," was all he could get out between laughs before he had to sit on the throne to compose himself.

"This is serious, Cole," Phoebe shouted coming around from behind Coop.

"Maybe from you point of view," Cole offered, "But from mine it is hilarious."

"Let's go," Phoebe said giving up on Cole, "He's not going to help us."

"You're better than this," Coop spoke directly to Cole.

"And how would you know," Cole shot back.

Phoebe looked at Coop questioningly, "Yeah, how would you know?" Phoebe reiterated.

"I'm a Cupid; it's part of my job to see the best in people." Coop quickly answered.

"A Cupid, hey, that explains how you got here," Cole said, "It also means that you really did love me once upon a time."

"Yeah, but it was never enough to save us," Phoebe meekly offered.

"It's good to hear it from you," Cole said with a smile that didn't mask the pain but more of a smile inspite of the pain, "Seperate the Triad from their power source. That is the only way you can vanquish them once and for all."

Phoebe was about to respond, but Paige beat her to it, "Thanks Cole, but where are we?"

"Why, the Demonic Wasteland," Cole announced, "You know what the powers saw fit to do with me after you vanquished me."

Cole looked around at all their blank stares before continuing, "They made me King of the Wasteland."

Cole lowered his head and started to laugh maniacly. The same madness that over took him just before his vanquish came to the front full force.

Without another word all four of the group joined hands and flashed out.

Moments after they left, Cole stopped laughing and composed himself. He stroked his chin as he pondered this new information and slowly a sinister smile came to his face and his eyes lit up, "Interesting, very interesting," Cole spoke out loud to no one in particular.

Phoebe Times Two (comes after Cole on the wasteland)

The four time travelers flashed back into the attic but quickly realize that it was not their attic. For one, the Book of Shadows was on its stand and it was quite a bit smaller than the copy that Phoebe had in her hand.

Coop noticed the two books and quickly asked, "Phoebe, move away from the other book."

"Why," Phoebe asked, "Could something bad happen?"

"Probably not," Coop answered, "But there's no sense in taking any chances.

Phoebe moved to the door out of the attic, but Paige posed the question, "We know where we are, but does anyone have any idea of when we are?"

Paige grimaced slightly at the sound of that sentence as it Left her mouth. Each of them looked around at the others, but no one was forthcoming with any answer.

Piper finally broke the silence, "People, we're not going to come up with any answers just standing here."

Phoebe took that as a cue and tried the attic door; it was locked. Good thing the latch to open it was on the inside of the door, so Phoebe could open it.

"Definitely before us," Phoebe spoke, "As we never lock this door."

"Yeah," Piper agreed, "But Grams locked it to keep us out."

Phoebe went down the stairs followed by Paige, Piper and Coop until she got the the bottom of the stairs where she heard voices from down the hall and muffled.

Phoebe turned to the rest of the group and put her index finger across her lips telling then to be extra quiet. Phoebe moved down the hallway until she was next to the room that she heard the voices; it was her old room.

Phoebe moved closer to the door and eavesdropped and heard, "No Grams, I didn't go anywhere."

Phoebe recognized the voice of her younger self.

"Don't lie to me, Phoebe," Grams shot back, "The truth has a way of coming out."

"But Grams, I never Left the manor, really," The younger Phoebe sound so smug in her truth.

"Ok," Grams said, "Have it your way.
For those who want the truth revealed,
Opened hearts and secrets unsealed,
From now until it's now again,
After which the memory ends.
Those who now are in this house,
Will hear the truth from other's mouths.

Older Phoebe was shocked by the use of that spell on her younger self but felt the magic of it wash over herself. Phoebe looked back on the rest of the gang and noticed that they to noticed the magic. All three of them looked at Phoebe questioningly, but Phoebe waved them off.

"Ah ha," Younger Phoebe stated, "You can use magic too."

"Uh, how do you know about magic?" Grams asked.

"My older self told me about it," Phoebe blurted out not able to control herself, but she quickly put her hands over her mouth, so she wouldn't volunteer anymore.

"How did you meet your older self?" grams asked gently.

Phoebe lowered her hands just far enough so she could speak, "She used magic to bring me to her."

"But you said that you didn't go any where," Grams queried.

"Like I said I never left the manor," Phoebe said smugly, "I only moved through time. You only asked me where I was, not when I was."

There was only silence from behind the door as Phoebe could imagine all to easily the stern look that Grams was giving her younger self.

Phoebe quickly moved down the hall past the group and motioned for them to follow her. They all did so quickly and quietly and didn't stop until they were on the sidewalk in front of the manor.

They all huddled there to talk as Piper asked, "What happened?"

"Well first, we are all under the truth spell," Phoebe answered, "Grams just cast it on my younger self not knowing that we were in the house also."

"Oh great," Paige complained, "That spell had caused nothing but trouble as far as I know."

"What does this spell do?" Coop interjected.

"Every time you're asked a question," Piper offered, "You are compelled to answer truthfully at least for the first sentence or so."

"Great," Coop complained, "Just tell me that this spell doesn't last forever."

"Nah," Paige answered, "Only twenty four hours."

"What are we going to do for the next twenty four hours?" Coop asked.

The three girls looked at him as if to ask what do you mean.

"We can't time travel till the spell wears off, "Coop continued, "It's dangerous enough time traveling without the ability to hold back the truth. If we have to tell the truth, we could really screw the time line."

If they will get it right once?

The Two Faces of Phoebe (continued)

"Oh great," Piper responded, "We have no place to stay, no money or anything, what are we supposed to do."

But, how did we get here?" Paige asked, "Aren't we supposed to only go to people we are in love with?"

Everybody looks at Phoebe as Coop announced, "I think she's more in love with herself than she cares to admit."

"What!" Phoebe cried out in complaint, "I'm not in..."

Phoebe stopped mid-sentence as she noticed everyone glaring at her.

"He's got you there, Phoebe, "Paige said with a smile on her face, "I think he's a keeper."

Phoebe turned away from the group just as a faded green Ford Comet stopped in front of the house. A very young Prue with braces stepped out of the car and walked around it to the curb.

Prue shyly looked at this group of adults and said, "Hi," sheepishly before continuing up the stairs and into the house.

Phoebe turned around and looked at Paige, "And you're taking his side in this."

"That was Prue before her wild time," Piper stated.

"Oh yeah," Paige wondered aloud as she watched Prue climb the stairs and go into the front door.

"Oh, that's right," Phoebe continued, "Accuse me of being a narcissist and then ignore me."

Everyone turned back at Phoebe with smiling and half chuckling, but Paige brought it home, "Our older sister goes running past us and still you only care about how we see you."

"Tell me that you all don't see me that way?" Phoebe asked.

"Sorry honey," Paige answered, "But we love you anyway."

Paige puts her finger on her nose and Coop follows suit pretty quickly followed by Piper more slowly.

"You too, Piper," Phoebe said as she started to sulk.

"Excuse me," Grams said standing on the front lawn, "Can I help you?"

"Yes," answered Coop, "We have no place to stay and no money."

"Well, I can't have you hanging around in front of my house, move along," Grams demanded.

"Don't you know us?" Piper asked.

"Yeah," Grams responded, "Your my granddaughters Piper and Phoebe," Grams was startled by what she just said, "How did I know that?'

"UT oh, truth spell," Paige blurted out as Phoebe moved the Book of Shadows behind her back.

Awkward Silence...

I know your feeling only too well, though I haven't posted any of my stories here yet. But I'll do so!!

OK, I'll continue...

"How do you know about the truth spell?" Grams asked, And how can I know the two of you when I've never met you?"

"We were in the manor when you cast it," Piper answered matter of factly, "And you have met us before. You probably just did a forget all about it type spell to preserve the time line."

"So, if I asked you who you are?" Grams demanded, "You'd have to tell me the truth. Ok, so who are you?"

"You know who I am; I'm Phoebe Haliwell."

"You know me also, I'm Piper Haliwell."

"Paige Mathews here, Grams," as Paige raised her hand.

"Grams?" Grams asked, "How am I your Grams?"

"I'm Patty and Sam's daughter," Paige answered without thinking, "I'm Piper and Phoebe's half sister."

Grams thought about that for a few moments and then began to ask another question, but Phoebe cut her off, "Don't ask that question; the truth spell has us sharing too much information already."

Penny thought better of those words and moved on, "So you, young man, who are you?"

"I'm Coop the Cupid."

"A what?" Grams asked surprised, "You girls must really shake things up if you have an Angel of Love helping you."

"He's no Angel," Phoebe chuckled almost laughing, "He's just a Cupid."

"Don't you," Grams began to say before she noticed Coop who was a half step behind the girls shaking his head no, so Grams continued, "Know that Angel of Love is just a metaphor for a Cupid."

Thanks Coop mouthed before speaking out loud, "Well, we have a slight problem. Because of the truth spell, it's not safe for us to travel on."

"Oh. Ok," Grams answered, "You can stay till the spell wears off, but you'll have to call me Aunt Penny."

You can call Piper, Jenny and Phoebe, Jo," Coop offered, "They're use to those names any way."

Our four travelers followed Aunt Penny into the Manor.

Ok, I'm pretty sure that Piper used Jenny earlier in the season. I'm just not so sure about Phoebe, could some one help?

I can look into it but you would have to wait till Sunday then. Okay with you?

[Jad]

Ok, awful long lay off even by my own standards, but I'm backm did ya miss me?

Grams settled the sisters and Coop in the livingroom and went to talk to Prue in the foyer. A few moment, later Grams and Prue walked back into the livingroom together.

Grams said to Prue, "These are distant cousins of yours visiting from out of town. They didn't known how to appraoch me and that is why you caught them talking on our sidewalk."

"This is my grandaughter Prue," Grams continued, "Prue, I want you to meet Jenny, Jo, Paige and Coop. Also, I'm going to go out to help your cousins find a place to stay. so I'm going to need you to watch your sisters and the house while I'm gone. Phoebe is on restriction in her room, and Piper isn't home yet."

Prue took that as her cue and went upstairs. Grams was about to start talking again when she just froze. The Angel of Destiny appeared to them and loooked at Grams. This wasn't the Angel that took Leo. No, this was the first Angel they met.

"Aww, not you again," Was Paige's first reaction.

"It's nice to see you again too," The Angel quipped, "Do you remember the choice I gave you so many years in the future and four years in your past?"

Getting only blank stares, the Angel decided to continue, "Well, I'm here to give you that choice again. I always thought that your choice back then was a little rushed. Now, four years later, how do you feel?"

[Chrisaholic]

Short but now with a cliffie?
Hope you'll be back soon and don't let me wait!!

[Jad]

I'm a little quicker this time

Piper sighed as she released some anger, "Sure, I wanted this four years ago as long as I get my husband back."

"There would have been no reason for him to be taken away in this time line," The angel re-assured Piper, "Only the four of you would remember the past four years."

"But, my Henry," Paige asked, "Would I still have my Henry?"

"Only the your magic would change," The Angel solemnly answered Paige, "All other things would be the same."

Paige looked at Piper pleading, "If I knew four years ago what I know now, I would never have insisted that we keep our magic."

"That's alright," Piper said, "We never would have been this close otherwise."

Both Paige and Piper looked at Phoebe, "You been uncharacteristically quiet, what do you think," Piper asked.

Phoebe seemed to be holding her breath, but with her sister's question she let it all out with a deep long sigh.

"You mean we could live normal lives without all the magic emergencies. Yes, I'm all onboard with this. Just the thought of it is like the weight of the world is lifted from my shoulders."

"So you're all agreed," The angel continued, "Just so you know that you'll all be returned to the exact time that you first left. Your ancestors won't have been witches, and your progeny won't be magical, just so we're clear on that point."

All three sisters nod their heads yes in unison, and the livingroom faded out. The sisters and Coop found themselves in the attic wearing defferent clothes, but there were no dead bodies on the floor either. The whole attic had been turned into a play room, but there waws no Henry waiting for them.

They looked around and at each other until Paige spoke, "Where's Henry? He's been here when we get back since I told him to do so."

"Changed time line," Coop offered, "In this time line we never went back to tell him to meet us here."

Paige pondered this for a few seconds when the door bell rang. "I'll get it," Paige announced as she ran down the stairs.

Chris cried out from downstairs followed by a small thud. This got Piper moving down the stairs on Paige's heels. Phoebe stood there just blankly staring into Coop's eyes.

"Are you still a Cupid?" Phoebe asked Coop.

Coop put his hand on his heart and answered, "Yes, but I can no long feel the pull of any charges."

"What does that mean?" Phoebe queried.

"That means I'm free to stay with you if you want," Coop smiled at Phoebe with all the innocent love of a Cupid.

Paige reaches the front door and opens it to find Henry surprised to see her.

"Do you often open doors to other peoples houses?" Henry asked.

"Why not, it's my sisters house," Paige responded.

"Sister, since when do you refer to Piper as your sister instead of your half-sister."

Paige caughter herself before answering that one, "Just come inside, Piper is taking care of Chris."

Henry foolowed Paige into the sunroom where Piper was holding Chris and soothing his sobs. Wyatt was sitting in a chair pouting and looking sorry.

"Looks as if they had a truck accident," Piper pointed to two large toy trucks on the floor, one on its side the other flipped on it back, "And Chris got the worse end of it."

[Chrisaholic]

Oh boy, what have the boys done now?

So we nearly have all couples together, just with the missing Leo, of course! *sighs*

[Jad]

Aw, you might think that it is over, that I provided a happily ever after, but wait, there is another shoe or three to drop.

"What's going on?" Henry asked suspiciously.

"What do you mean, honey?" Paige countered.

"What do you mean by what do I mean?" Henry was wide eyed and taken aback, "We never come over here without a formal invitation, and it's a big deal. You never come over here just casually. Doctor and Mrs. Johnson never do anything casually."

"And who are Doctor and Mrs. Johnson?" Piper asked innocently.

"Sarcasm, really Piper," Henry was losing it just a little more, "I guess you let your hair down a little when the Doctor isn't around, good for you."

So, I'm married to a Doctor Johnson, but where is Leo." Piper questioned.

Henry threw his hands up, "Leo is doctor is husband, who are you and what have you done with Piper?"

Henry turned and walked out into the foyer just as Phoebe and Coop were coming down the stairs arm in arm lovingly staringn into each other's eyes and giggling.

"Have you completely lost it, or did I some how enter the Twilight Zone?" Henry took a second glance at the couple on the stairs and walked down the hall to the front door. That is where Paige caught up to him and asked, "Please Henry, we need your help. Won't you please come sit in the livingroom and let me explain."

Henry huffed then sighed, "Alright."

All five of them moved into the livingroom to talk.

Interesting. So Leo is a doctor. Cool!

[Jad]

Well, we come near to the end of this story; I just have to bring Doctor Leo and Henry up to speed on the changes. Then, there is learning how the time line changed because everything they vanquished in the last four years is now unvanquished unless something else has happened to vanquish them. Will the sisters be alright with the changes?
