Destiny is a Witch

This is a Charmed Fanfiction; it starts with a rewrite of the end of Kill Billie 2 and then proceeds to rewrite Forever charmed from there.

Billie, Cristy and Wyatt with the box that contains the Hollow are in the attic with Billie pleading with Wyatt, "Please Wyatt, just one little trick, your Mommy said it was alright."

"No," said Wyatt softly, "Mommy says only use magic when she says so."

Phoebe's living room, the Charmed Ones were discussing something quietly when an Elder showed up unbidden and proclaimed, "Some one has removed the Hallow from its vault."

All three of the sisters gasp in unison. Phoebe said, "How are they."

Paige followed right after, "You don't think."

Piper huffed, "They better not have," as she got out her cell and called her Father.

Half a minute later, it was confirmed during this time the Elder left with a small wave.

Piper was livid as she spoke, "They took Wyatt. Can you orb us to him, Paige?"

Paige took a deep breath and let it out slowly and relaxed. A few seconds later, she spoke, "Yes, Wyatt is in the attic at the manor."

Piper grabbed Paige's and Phoebe's hands and said, "Let's go!"

Phoebe complained, "What with no plan?"

Piper put her foot down, "Rescue Wyatt now, plan later!"

The Charmed Ones orbed into the attic to find Billie kneeling next to Wyatt pleading with him to open the box.

Billie, Cristy and Wyatt looked up at the Charmed Ones startled as Piper spoke, "Wyatt come over here."

Wyatt moved quickly to his Mother and said, "Billie wanted me to do magic. I said can't do without Mommy," Wyatt looked at his Mother as if he did something wrong.

While this was happening, Cristy was already forming a massive fireball. When Billie noticed this, she yelled, "Wyatt, get out of the way."

Paige was ready as the fireball was launched at the Haliwell sisters and Wyatt. She exclaimed, "Massive fireball," and attempted to send it back to Kristy, but it just stopped halfway between the two sets of sisters. Standing next to his Mother, Wyatt raised his shield, and Billie lent her power of projection to moving the fireball to the Charmed Ones.

The fireball started to move towards the Charmed Ones, but Phoebe grabbed Paige's hand and said, "The Power of Three."

Piper immediately grabbed Paige's other arm and said, "The Power of Three."

When Paige, who this whole time had been trying to get control of the fireball and orb it back on to Cristy, heard her sisters, she said, "The Power of Three shall set us free,"

The fireball orbed out and back in right on Cristy and Billie. The two girls screamed for a few seconds before the fireball melted and burned the skin right off their bodies as their burnt corpses fell to the floor with a thud.

For the first time ever in the Charmed Ones career, the smell and the sight of two corpses assaulted their senses.

Phoebe twitched her nose at the smell and said, "So, that's what burnt flesh smells like."

Wyatt burst out crying and flung himself around Piper's closest thighs. Piper looked down at her son fraught with confusion and pain, but she still managed to stroke his back with one hand. Paige could only muster, "Oh," as she realized what Wyatt had just witnessed.

Phoebe broke the silence with, "Well, at least we won."

"Yeah," Paige responded, "But at what cost."

Piper was too distraught for words when the Angel of destiny showed up. She looked over at the burnt corpses and said, "That's going to be a problem."

"So," Phoebe said, "We won. Can we have Leo back now?"

"Won," the Angel chuckled in derision, "You lost."

"What?" said Phoebe who now had just as much of a perplexed look on her face as Paige.

The Angel answered, "All you succeeded in doing is killing two innocent girls."

"But," Phoebe stammered, "We only killed them in self-defense."

"They were just two brainwashed and mislead girls and you three never noticed," The Angel answered as she went over and picked the Hollow's box and teleported out of there with it.

YAY!! I'm glad it looks like you're going to work on this. You have Wyatt aged a bit too much - since we hardly ever heard him talking and I can't see the AoD snickering, but otherwise, I do believe you've got it.

Carry on - I'm dying to see how you redo Forever Charmed!

Es thanks for the crits, I changed Wyat's sentence a little, but three and a half can talk up a storm. Since he's been going to daycare with their mantra of use your words, he would have spoken more during the show, but I can see the production problems of getting a three or four year old to speak on cue. Wyatt did speak in complete sentences in the show; they were simple sentences, but they were there at least once that I can remember. This one line isn't anymore than that.

I changed the Angel snickering to more of a derisive chuckle. That conveys more of the meaning I meant anyway.

I can't write anymore tonight. I went to two parties today, so I'm burnt. I know where the first visit will be in the next installment, but I can't get to it now.

Hehehehe, I take back what I said about Wyatt - I'd forgotten that he would be three and should be talking more than I was thinking.

*sigh* So you are going to have them go time-travelling, huh? Somehow with they way you had discussed this before I thought you had something else in mind. But whatever it is, I'm definitely curious to see what you have in mind.

Oh, one other minor suggestion. Since Christy's name is based on "The Last Temptation of Christ", I think that's the way her name should be spelled. But that's *very* minor.

I'll go back and change the Ks to Cs, thanks Es, but I'm a long time fan of Doctor Who ever since Tom Baker in the late 70s, so I think I'll do the time travel with more time travel paradox consequences. As far as I can see, it's time travel or trading the Angel of Death Leo for Billie and Kristy.

In the room of the Magic School that has the white disk that has a soft glow, the Triad materializes.

"I enjoy it when a plan comes together," said one of the Triad.

"Yes, I like those win-win situations. Most demons ignore the Fates to their own demise," said another of the Triad.

"Yes, tying the Fate of the Charmed Ones to Kristy was genius, so either the Jenkins sisters killed the Charmed Ones, they killed the Jenkins sisters. So, putting the Fate spell on Kristy worked out. Whoever kills Kristy, we become immune to their powers and vanquishes," said the third member of the Triad.

"So," said the first Triad, "We are here so that means that the Charmed Ones must have killed Kristy. Hopefully, they got her silly little sister too."

Phoebe and Paige looked upon the charred bodies of Kristy and Billie with distraught looks on their faces. Piper was sitting on one of the couches holding on to Wyatt who was in her lap. Wyatt's look was one of fear, and Piper's look was one of concern and worry.

"What are we going to do?" Paige asked.

"You're asking me," Phoebe responded.

A pink heart appeared in mid air opposite of Paige and Phoebe followed by the appearance of Coop.

"I could feel your..." Coop stopped talking mid sentence as he noticed the two charred bodies lying on the floor.

"Oh, that's not good," Coop said eying the floor.

Coop looked around the room at Piper trying to console Wyatt, and the perplexed and distraught looks on Paige and Phoebe's faces before he spoke, "I hate to be insensitive, but what happened?"

"Cristy and Billie tried to kill us with a massive fireball," Phoebe answered, "But we back up Paige with a Power of Three spell, so she could orb it back on them. Angel of Destiny showed up told us that we were supposed to save them not fry them. Did I miss anything Paige?"

"Yeah, you forgot about Billie trying to use Wyatt to open the box to the Hollow," Paige continued, "And the fact that he witness what followed."

"Oh," In a hushed surprised tone was Coop's only response as he moved over to Phoebe giving her a hug to console her.

Phoebe could feel the warmth of the Cupid's magic roll over her as he hugged her. She broke the hug, stepped back pointing at his rind and asked, "Can we use the ring to travel into the past and undo this?"

Coop looked away pensively as he tried to think of something to say.

"What's wrong Coop?" Phoebe asked, "Can't you help us?"

"You don't understand," Coop replied, "Time traveling to change the past is very dangerous. One wrong move and blink, the whole universe ceases to exist."

"We're not going to effect that much change," Paige claimed.

"You're right Paige," Coop answered, "But you never know which small thing will snowball into a world sucking problem."

"That's why we'll have you along with us, Coop," Phoebe stated, "So we can be warned by you when we try and go to far."

"Still, I'm not supposed to mess with Destiny," Coop complained.

"Destiny has already said that this was not supposed to happen," Phoebe inferred from the Angel's words.

Coop stood there and thought for for a while before stating, "Ok, but I get to bring us back whenever I think that you are going to far."

"So, are you with us Piper?" Phoebe asked.

Piper had not really been paying any of this much attention, so she answered, "In what?"

"We can use Coop's ring to travel back in time and undo all this and get Leo back," Phoebe offered.

Piper perked up a little upon hearing that, stood up still holding Wyatt, walked over to Paige and said, "Orb us back to Grandpa's so I can put him to bed."

Paige touched Piper on the arm and orbed all three of them to Grandpa's.

Phoebe and Coop were left alone in the attic while Paige and Piper were away bringing Wyatt back to Grandpa's. Coop smiled and looked Phoebe in the eye and said, "Now that I have you alone, there is something I need to say. I've never felt like this for any of my other charges."

"What? Now?" Phoebe returned Coop's gaze, "Isn't there rules on this? You know, forbidden love and all."

"Yeah," Coop replied, "But, you girls seem to thrive on it."

"Aaw, hum," Phoebe stammered a bit, "not now, we have more important matters to attend to."

"Ok," said Coop, "But look me in the eye and tell me you don't feel the same way and I'll never bring it up ever again."

Phoebe looked away and didn't answer.

"Ok then, I'll bring it up later," Coop said smiling from ear to ear.

Phoebe just rolled her eyes.

Paige, Piper and Wyatt orbed into Victor's apartment and caught Victor by surprise watching TV half asleep.

"What!" Victor said as he jumped off his couch and spun around to face the orbing trio.

"Oh," Victor said after he realized who it was, "Wyatt, why do you have Waytt? Did he orb to you?"

"No Dad," Piper said with frustration in her voice, "He was taken by Billie and Cristy who wanted to do some magic that they couldn't so by themselves."

"What!" Victor's voice was peeked with a little anger, "We'll just have to take care of those to then."

"Already there, Dad," Piper spoke plainly, "And Wyatt got a front row seat. Let's just say that it wasn't pretty."

*nods* So far very good. You could use some help with your tenses (either write all of it in present or all of it in past) and some sentence structuring and stick with making all of Billie's sister's name either Christy or Kristy (don't mind me - I'm a natural proof-reader - my journalism teacher always said I was the best she'd ever had), but I definitely like the ideas behind what you're doing and definitely can't wait to read more.

Ok, so you can see by this post that I'm back from my vacation, so I can continue to write

Piper picked up Wyatt, hugged him and said, "Let's get you back to bed little man."

Piper gave a forced smile to her Dad as she spun around to bring Wyatt into his bedroom thereby leaving Paige and Victor alone.

"Is everything alright?" Victor inquired.

"Define alright," Paige quipped.

"That bad," Victor answered his own question.

"It's so bad that we're thinking of using time travel to undo it," Paige offered.

"Uh," Victor said with a surprised look on his face, "You can do that."

"Well," Paige answered slowly, "Not very well and not very controlled. We're getting outside help."

Victor got a distant look in his eyes, and Paige stood there not knowing what to say.

Piper walked back into Victor's living room a few minutes later and broke a heavy silence, "Ok Paige, let's go."

Paige grabbed Piper's hand as Piper said, "Take care of the boys, Dad. Left you all of the paper work like I did last year."

Victor just nodded as the girls orbed out.

Piper and Paige orbed back in the attic with Phoebe and Coop.

"There you are," Phoebe said while smiling at Piper and Paige.

"How did everything go at Dad's? Is everything alright," Phoebe continued.

"As well as can be expected," Piper replied, "Ok, are we ready for this? Any last words of wisdom, Coop, before we embark on this."

"Well," Coop said slowly and thoughtfully, "Remember that you will not have your powers, but you still be able to do spells and make potions."

"Maybe we should bring the Book of Shadows with us," Phoebe suggested.

"I don't know," Coop continued, "It can never touch or be close to its past self just like we cannot encounter our past selves."

The Triad flamed in around the sisters and Coop. One of the Triad said, "Look, one of their friends from the magical community, an added bonus."

"What?" Phoebe retorted, "We vanquished you months ago."

"We always seem easy to vanquish, but we rarely stay that way," Another Triad answered, "Now to vanquish you for good."

The Triad started chanting together in some ancient language, and the Charmed Ones became sorely distressed doubled over in pain.

Coop reached out and held Phoebe's hand trying to console her, but Paige touched both Piper and Phoebe and tried to orb out only it didn't work. All four of them bounced off of some kind of shield or force field, and the pain was getting worse. Without anyone saying anything Coop used his Cupid power to heart them out of there.

In a pink flash, Coop with the charmed Ones hearted into Phoebe's condo.

"How did they?" Paige asked, "Why didn't my orb work?"

Phoebe didn't stop to reply, just grabbed the Book and said, "Transport us back in time now."

"But," Coop started.

But he was cut-off by Piper, "The Triad could be here any second. Get us out of here now, talk later."

"Ok," Coop continued, "hold hands and concentrate on loves past."

When they all held hands, they disappeared in a flash of pink.

Henry was sitting behind his desk reading something on his computer screen when a flash of pink light flashed in his office causing him to jump out of his seat.

"What the," Henry said catching himself from completing the explicative when he saw who appeared out of the light.

"Are you trying to give a guy a heart attack or what?" Henry said with a smile.

"Sorry Honey," Paige said with sincere contrition, "It's just that we don't know when we're going to appear or where."

"Uh," Henry said with a perplexed look on his face, "You were just here a few hours ago to tell me that you were of to face some big evil and you didn't know when you'd be back or if. Did you already get them?"

"Henry, I think you're going to want to sit down," Coop offered.

Henry looked at Coop for the first time and notices that he's standing closer to Phoebe than the other sisters, "So, is this your new boy friend, Phoebe?" Henry asked.

"Not yet," Phoebe answered quickly before she realized what she said.

"Not yet?" Coop asked, "But does that mean we will be in the future."

"Not now," Phoebe said as she scowled at Coop.

Everyone in the room other than Phoebe or coop either grinned or smiled at this little tiff as Henry took Coop's advice and sat down in his chair.

Phoebe noticed everyone in the room grinning at her and Coop and said, "Stop that."

"Stop what," Paige said trying hard not to giggle but failing.

Piper interrupted the amusement by saying, "Paige, your love for Henry has brought us here for a reason."

Paige put her hand over her mouth and composed herself before speaking, "Henry, this is going to sound crazy, but we're from the future, a little over two months in the future. The Paige from this time is going to come back to you in little over a day and tell you that they've vanquished the Powerful Evil. I'm here to say that they just faked it to lull us into a false sense of security. Furthermore, Cristy is going to turn on us and convince Billie to do so also."

"What?" Henry said surprised, "Those two sweet girls, how could they."

"I know, Henry," Paige responded, "that is why we were caught off guard too."

"So, what can I do about it?" Henry asked.

"Your my messenger, you need to tell me what I just told you," Paige said.

"How am I going to get you to believe any of this? You hardly let me into any of this magical stuff. When it comes to the magical my opinion counts for nothing," Henry complained.

"I know," Paige said again in a contrite voice, "But this right here is a learning experience for me. It's showing me that in the fight against evil everyone is needed, not just those of us with powers. I promise to do better by you in the future."

"That's all well and good, but it still doesn't help here and now," Henry stated.

Paige thought to herself for a few seconds before speaking, "Don't try and convince me; just make suggestions and let me draw my own conclusions. I have this kind of sixth sense when it comes to sensing evil when I have my eyes opened to it."

I'll try," said Henry, "But why don't you talk to yourself directly."

"Time travel paradoxes and all that," Coop answered, "We're taking enough chances just by talking to you. When you use time travel to change events, you never know what else you might be changing so tread lightly."

"Ok, I guess," Henry said pensively.

"So," Paige asked, "Do you think that that was enough?"

"Only one way to find out," Coop answered, "Join hands."

Before holding hands, Paige raced around Henry's desk and sat on his lap and hugged him. Henry returned the embrace as Paige's eyes welled up with tears.

Everyone gave Paige and Henry a few minutes to finish the affectionate moment. Paige ended it by getting up sniffling and wiping a few tears from her cheeks.

She returned to her place amongst the four time travelers waving her free hand at Henry as she disappeared in a flash of pink looking as if she really didn't want to leave.

Funny. Right when I thought you were doing so well with being consistent with Charmed (and I loved all the past references), or as well as you can be with all of its inconsistencies, you have to blow it here. In "That 70's Episode", Prue touched Little Prue's freckle. So, yes, they can interact with their past selves.

Unless you figure a way to explain that, it doesn't quite work.

But since I'm enjoying this, I'll set that aside and pretend what you're having Coop say truly does work even if according to Charmed canon, it doesn't.

By the way, responding to another one of your comments - yes, I would've preferred them agreeing to give up on Leo if it meant bringing the Jenkinses back to life over time travel. With what you had the sisters do - charring the Jenkinses - it makes much more sense.

On another topic, I really enjoyed the conversation between Phoebe and Coop, since it was very typical them during that time period - although I was surprised that one of her other sisters didn't have to tell her, "Phoebe! Worry about that later!"

I was *thoroughly* enjoying this section, thinking how well you had all of these character down, and enjoying the addition of Henry (I hated how both her and Paige were short-shrifted during "Forever Charmed), when this part showed up:

Yup, change in tenses again and that just popped me right out of the story. You really have to watch that. This should be

Oops, another minor grumble. Again I think it would be Piper telling Phoebe "Not now", not Phoebe telling Coop - I would've expected Phoebe to say, "Maybe". In the same way, I can't see any of them getting a kick out of the tiff - not with what was going on, just like I'd expect Piper to tell Paige to hurry up with her good-bye to Henry.

But those are my only grumbles on this part and they're minor. I totally love the idea of just because the Triad is vanquished, it's not really vanquished and that it's now immune to the way it was vanquished before. It's what we were discussing in the Discussion thread and is the best explanation for their ease in return that I've read.

I also totally love the idea, first of Paige going to Henry because of her love for him, and then having him be the one who tells Past Paige that the Triad haven't truly been vanquished - a *much* better use of time travel than that used in "Forever Charmed" - which I hope you won't use in yours, even if I used it in my own "Charmed Forever" - I like this a *whole* lot more!

Some Comments-

First, Coop is being overly cautious with his time travel warnings. The time travel in Charmed was much to frivolous for my tastes anyway.

Second, I seem to remember Phoebe putting Coop off most of Kill Billie 2. Now, I might not be remembering correctly as I've only watch Kill Billie2 and Forever Charmed once eachback when they first came out. I cannot stomach watching them again.

Third, in high tension situations, just a little slip of the tongue can become the funniest thing ever.

Fourth, in the later years, Charmed didn't know how to leave a tender moment alone, so I'm going to add them back in. I'll admit that Drake was an exception.

I can agree with all except the fourth. Tender moments in tense situations work. Not these reactions of others to them. It takes away from the drama of what's going on. AND doesn't fit the sisters as they were at that point. You do such a good job of writing them as they were, this just takes away from it seeming to really be them and not just three characters with the same names.

But that's just my own opinion. It still doesn't prevent me from enjoying your story and I'm definitely looking forward to reading more.

Es, I thought about having Piper speak up and shorten the scene, but I got lazy. Even then I thought about adding what was going through Piper's mind at that point. Her internal debate whether she should let them have a few minutes or should she interrupt. I could have shown Piper internally deciding to let it go. Remember, that this is pretty much a first draft. I have no one to edit it but myself, hence the errors with the verb tenses.

The Triad stood in the attic just after the Charmed Ones and Coop hearted away looking at each other for a few seconds before one of them spoke, "Maybe we acted prematurally."

"I thought we had Billie and Cristy get them isolated from the magical community," Another Triad added.

"We waited this long for the plan to come to fruition; we can wait a little longer," Said the third Triad.

The three of them get lost in their thoughts for a few mintues when the last one to speak spoke up again, "Somethings changed; I don't think we should stay here any longer."

Out of a puff of smoke Billie Jenkins appears between the Triad. She looks as if eh'd been unkept for a few days as her hair was all over the place and in tangles. Her face was all smugged with dirt mixed with tears.

She threw her head back and in a fit of rage said, "You turned my sister into sociopath, someone who didn't know right from wrong. You had her kill poor Henry an innocent thereby turning her into a warlock. I even followed her around for a while till she killed Henry for tipping the sisters off to your plan."

A few sobs escaped in short breaths before she continued, "Paige orbed her over the bottomless pit and dropped her in with no remorse. You did this! I bid you follow her."

It was as if everything in the attic froze for a few seconds with a look as hard as stone on Billie's face. The floor of the attic fell away in all paces except under Billie's feet, and the Triads feel into this sea of darkness. Billie could hear faint curses thrown her way from the Triad as they fell further from her.

Billie took a deep breath and the floor returned to the attic. She looked around the empty room and even noticed that the Book was missing. She collapsed on the floor and started to sob quietly as if all the energy had been drained out of her.

The scene changed to Phoebe's condo where the Charmed Ones and Coop appeared out of a flash of pink. They all looked around warily until Phoebe said, "Did it work?"

"I'm not sure," Piper said, "But wait for it..."

Everyone looks at Piper questioningly, "Well, if we fixed it, the Angel of Destiny would have returned Leo."

Piper looked around hopefully, but with every passing second more hope passed from her face.

"Not enough information," Coop offered.

"Should we tempt fate and orb back to the manor?" Phoebe asked.

Phoebe looked at Paige, but Paige had a distant look in her eye and smile on her face, "Paige!" Phoebe said loudly.

"What," Paige answered as if she'd been woken out of a dream.

"Orb now, get lost in warm fuzzies about Henry latter," Phoebe chided.

"Oh, Oh, where to?" Paige asked.

"Manor kitchen, Piper, you coming," Phoebe answered.

"Um yeah, sure," Piper answered as she moved to hold hands with Paige.

All four of them orbed out and into the empty kitchen of the manor. All was quiet in the house as far as they could tell.

"Shall we check out the scene of the crime?" Paige asked sarcastically.

"Lead on," Said Phoebe bravely.

Lead by Paige, all four of them entered the attic to find Billie sitting in the middle of the floor in heap sobbing.

"Billie, you're alright sort of," Paige said compassionately.

Billie spun around quickly and looked at Paige with her eyes bulging as she quickly backed away from Paige and the others.

"I'm sorry, Paige," Billie Blubbered through her sobbing.

Uhh, why are you apologizing to me? Where's Cristy?" Paige continued.

"That's cruel," Billie said as she fell back down on her bottom mising the couch where she was trying to sit.

Paige just stares blankly at a loss for words. Phoebe rushes over to console poor Billie.

"It's alright Billie, at least your alive," Phoebe said.

"No it's not. Kristy killed Henry for thwarting the Triad's master plan; then paige killed Kristy, and I was on Kristy's side up until she killed Henry. that's what I'm sorry for, Paige." Billie said holding off the sobs just long enough to get this said.

Paige was stricken by this revelation and on the verge of tears with no one to turn to except Coop. He just shook his head no and looked at Phoebe.

Phoebe also was at a loss for words, so Billie continued to speak, "What's going on? It seems as if you don't know all of this, but I have good news. I vanquished the Triad."

Billie froze as the Angel of Destiny appears in the room.

"You accomplished the the mission even if some one else had to do it for you," The angel said as she looked over at Billie.

"What, how did Billie do it alone?" Phoebe asked.

"After Cristy was vanquished, Billie found to the right place to put her anger. All that rage and a curse of righteous anger put the Triad where they belong.

The Angel looked over at Piper who looked back longingly, "Ok, yes, you can have him back."

The Angel waved her hand and Leo was there right next to Piper. Leo looked around dazed and confused, but Piper didn't care; she just gave him a big hug.

"Two out of three's not bad," The angel said as she waved her hand and disappeared.
