The mere fact she was cast is the reason I started watching it - little did I know I was gonna get hooked on the series!
Her performance is great as usual, especially in the scene where Ella argues with Byron over the secrets and lies.

I started for her. But fell in love with the girls and their secrets.
I really hope Ella gets more screen time. I love her teaching. It's fun to see her do that.

Ditto. I started watching originally for Holly and for Laura Leighton (who played my favorite original "Melrose Place" character, Sydney). But I'll admit, the girls and their storyline got me hooked too. Now I can't wait until it starts up again -- especially since there's not a whole lot on during the summer that I enjoy watching.

I hope they get back together (if only for Ella to have more screentime....)
Plus I think having two parents under the same roof is going to make it more difficult for Aria/Ezra

How much screentime does Holly get?
I've seen half an episode but had no idea what was going on and was so confused that I just gave up... Is it worth watching from the start?

In regards to Holly's screen time, it depends on the episode.

You have tO watch from the beginning. The mystery is amazing.
As for Holly's screentime.... I need more. I heard there are a few deleted scenes on the DVD.
Ella teachers, so it's fun to see her in school.

I took your advice and have started watching it from episode one and let me tell you, I am most definitely hooked! I'm up to episode 6 and have already been praising it to all my friends and encouraging them to start watching.
I'm really engrossed in all the storylines already and HMC is awesome as Ella. From what I can tell, it seems like a really great show and something that will keep my interest!

Same here like most here, I started watching because of Holly, and ended up loving it. But I’m still getting used to seeing ‘Piper’ with a man who isn’t Leo  Ella and Aria’s chemistry is also good…..makes me wonder things about Charmed  |

Same here! o/ I started watching PLL because of Holly and got totaly in love for it! It's just sooo great, the girls are awesome and the mistery around A's history is breathless! I think it's commom for us to see Ella as Piper, 'cause we get used to see her in this hole for a long time but it's a matter of time. Piper will never be forgotten |

I think she only came back for the finale. But the way the events turned out, she has to be there for the next season too.

FYI: The show runs already in Pay-TV for some time here but around next week, it starts in Free TV again. So not funny! lol
