Quite a few of us have made Wikis.
Yeah, this could happen. Charmed needs a Wiki that fans can respect.
I don't think any fan respects the current Charmed Wiki. Not with the likes of CharmedBozo in charge, that is.

However I cannot agree fully with the treatment of this charmed wiki. How are fans like me who often forget facts suppose to find resources that are correct, if people dont respect canon. Anybody visiting this site expects correct information. We clearly are not getting that. Somebody needs to fire the staff at charmed wiki. They are disrespectful to the program by presenting facts that are not true and how they treat fans with simple requests. I agree completely with you. Charmed fans deserve an accurate, unbiased resource for general information about the show, and Charmed Wiki fails horrendously at that. The people running that site treat their own headcanons as hard fact, and they'll readily insult and ban anyone who has the nerve to disagree. I think the Cafe should pitch together and create a new, better alternative to Charmed Wiki, filled with nothing but hard, canonical fact for the show (and ONLY the show--people who want comic-specific info will be redirected to StoryGirl83's fine Wiki). Heres a suggestion why not call it the Charmed Cafe wiki. Im sure all of us members are more than capable of editing and updating the facts and keeping things canon. Hows that for an idea dears. ☺ |

Heres a suggestion why not call it the Charmed Cafe wiki. Im sure all of us members are more than capable of editing and updating the facts and keeping things canon. Hows that for an idea dears. ☺ That's not a bad idea. The Wiki might be able to help promote this site better and bring in new members. |

I'm on board with that idea as well. Charmed fans need a good Wiki to come to, and the current one is clearly not that.

I'll talk to Simply about this. I do like that idea. I feel like people on this board understand the show a lot and can separate headcannon vs true cannon.

Perhaps, when this new Wiki is set up, it can be sister Wikis to Storygirl's Charmed Comics Wiki and to my Rex and Hannah Chronicles one (and perhaps a few others as well). We can set up our own little network  |

Hey all! It's been a long time since I was here. It's ok if no one remembers me!  Just wanted to share some of my own personal experiences from the Charmed wiki. Some years ago, I spent who knows how long arguing to prove that Phoebe's child was hers and Cole's. Instead being the child from Seer and Source. So eventually I succeeded (yay me lol)! It's still lists Seer and Source as surrogate parents tho.... But as seeing how wacky they can be, I let it go (was even happy I could at least convince some people to follow facts instead of their own headcannon). Also some time later I also tried to fix the whole "Phoebe was the one who wrote in BOS first, not Piper". (as other have tried before me back then) But sadly after all the arguing I did. I did not succeed. After that personal life got in the way, and I left the entire Charmed community. Recently (after hearing of the reboot and Shannen's sickness (hope she stays healthy)) I rewatched some earlier episodes of Charmed. And remembered wiki. So I thought maybe the guy back then (admin). Is no longer there, or was in-active. So I changed it again and then some more times lol. With having the same results as back then. Only this time with new guy (who in my absence) became admin. Also the wiki is now crammed with comic stuff (which personally I don't count as cannon. No way in hell will Cole let his soul/existence be erased for Coop. Just so Phoebe can live a happy life. Makes me gag.). Don't know if I'll stay here again. But I just wanted to share this, before I forget again lol See ya all!  |

Yeah, that Charmed wiki really needs to be reported?
The information on it is not accurate, and it only further confuses fans. I am so glad I joined this community with my answers on Charmed and not to the unpleasant Charmed Wiki.

The only "sources" I can find that "confirms" the comics are "canon" are Wiki pages: Charmed Wiki and Wikipedia. I have, yet, to find anything else that says "the Charmed comics are canon" because IK Wikis (regardless of which ones they are) can be edited by anyone. Everytime somebody "challenges" me expressing "the Charmed comics are canon", I ask them to provide me the source that aren't "wikis". I'm still waiting for this "source". |

I find this forum to be WAY more accurate than the Charmed Wiki OR the Charmed Reddit. I 100% believe both the wiki and reddit get a lot of their accurate information from posts on this board - such as the death count of the sisters through the series. An example of this is the term "molecular combustion" which I do *not* believe is canon. Yes, Leo offered an explanation that Pipers powers were rooted in speeding up or slowing down molecules, but this term was never used in the series. I am pretty sure that this term was first used in the X-Men universe with the character of Gambit (in the comics). X-Men is literally a science fiction series that is about genetically altered mutants which is nothing like Charmed, a supernatural/fantasy series that has never been defined by or explained by science. Unfortunately "molecular combustion" has become synonymous with Piper and not a franchise like X-Men. |

I find this forum to be WAY more accurate Eh, IDK. I still think it's debatable if Cole had free will during his Source Cole phase or not. IDK if we can definitively say he wasn't possessed or not. However, that's not to say all information here is incorrect. I do think there's a lot of wonderful source material, here. In defense of Reddit, because I do post there, they're not as inaccurate as the Wiki site. I post there and do my best to spread correct information LOL |

I thought of this thread while watching S2E14 "Pardon My Past". The Charmed Wiki proclaims P. Baxter's power as " Molecular Deceleration" instead of Molecular Immobilization", like Piper's is. Even though, Anton makes it clear he was going to "fight through her power". But, if we do need a scene of "present day" Piper actually freezing something, but them "fighting through it" exactly like what happened in S2E14 "Pardon My Past", we can turn to S5E5 "Witches in Tights": S2E14 "Pardon My Past" ClipS5E5 "Witches in Tights" ClipSo, yeah, "Past Piper" via "P. Baxter" has the same power as "Present Piper". EDIT: Forgive the way I titled the S2E14 "Pardon My Past" clip. These videos are very old, and I need to update them lol |

While on the subject of Pardon My Past, a lot of people claim that Pearl, Phoebe, and Priscilla are the cousins names!
As much as I love the idea, theories, and small tid-bits we get from the show that MAY hint to possible names-- it's not canon.
(While I'm here, I read that the cousins were initially given names, but were removed to avoid confusing the fans! Oh how I wish that info would be revealed sometime! Maybe one of the actresses knows lol)

I already can't take it seriously counting the comics as canon in the sisters pages. They are not the same as the show. So the wiki is more like a fanon wiki not a canon wiki since it counts non canon stuff as canon. |
