Eurgh, God I hated the magical community, so cheesy and childish. And in season 8, when they betrayed The Charmed Ones and took the side of two witches they barely knew....lost any shred of respect I had left for them. Well, since the Charmed Ones had done nothing for them since "Oh, My Goddess!" (and then only when they were forced) and since I had lost all respect for the Charmed Ones myself, I didn't blame them one bit. Everything the Charmed Ones had done and not done had finally come back to roost and I felt it was poetic justice.

The Charmed Ones had done nothing for them since Oh, My Goddess because they no longer needed help
In Spin City their appearance ruined much of the tension of the story
It would be better to introduce magical characters splitting them along the seasons but we can not forget that Charmed had 40!!!! writers, too many to ensure logic and continuity
In Lost, there were 5 people paid just to check the map of each character to not make mistakes: this is professionalism

Ah . . . the "Stoopid Magickal Creatures" as the TWOP recapper Demian used to call them.
Uh . . . sometimes.

When the Magical Community showed its ugly face, that's when I stopped taking Charmed seriously. I mean what the hell were they thinking? Every time they pulled out these Disney rejects, I collapsed in laughter, and I'm sure I wasn't the only one.
IMO, the Magical Community cost Charmed a lot of credibility and may be a key factor as to why the show is not better remembered today. The MC pegged Charmed as a cute kiddie show.
And poor Paige. Bad enough she never got the character development she needed, in the later seasons, she was often shoehorned into subplots involving the MC.
The Magical Community is another reason why, should Charmed ever return, they need to hit the reset button and start over.

Agreed. When you start off with the world of magic being shrouded in mystery from mortals, it's pretty jarring to suddenly have nymphs dancing around the city, leprechauns wandering down the street and a freakin' ogre sat drinking in P3.
That's part of why I've never actually minded season 3's "Once Upon A Time" despite it introducing fairies (and even worse, Alyssa's baby voice). Only innocent eyes could see them and there was the stuff with the between places, so they maintained the element of it being a hidden world.

Oh my God, Nymphs Just Wanna Have Fun. All that stupid dancing and prancing around. Make it stop!
One of the episodes where I actually wanted the demon to win.
I felt sorry for Rose, who had be a nymph in this awful mess. I can understand why she cried every time the show got renewed after this.

I liked the earlier magical community. But once they made everything real it was silly. No way could fairy tales, witches, leprechauns, unicorns gods and all that exist.
It wouldve made the world aware long before all hell breaks loose and with these battles going on how aren't at least demons or the magical community thriving? You think something would have to give.
I thought of it as fluff and over done

The only magical creature I liked in S5 was the unicorn. Didn't care for the leprechauns nor the Nymphs.
