That's great, thought they were gone for good.
Just watched her season 1 review. I agree with quite a few of her points, although there are some things I don't quite agree with.
For example, discussing "From Fear to Eternity", she complains that Prue's fear of drowning conveniently comes up and was never mentioned before. Sure, it's convenient, but I have to wonder when exactly she thinks something like that would come up in conversation prior to that. I mean, I'm afraid of spiders, I don't tend to bring it up unless I'm talking about fears or there's a spider.
Also it's kind of a shame that she doesn't comment much on the things in season 1 that are relevant to future seasons. Like learning about their history "The Witch is Back"/"That 70's Episode" and foreshadowing to later plots "Is There a Woogy" for example. Also I'd count Hannah's death among that, since it was the first hint at there being a bigger evil (Later revealed as The Source).
Anyway, there are some opinions that I share with her, but I think we're more on the same page when it comes to later seasons. I don't think season one is as "mindless" as she puts it; but to each their own.

When she first watched Season 1, she had zero familiarity with the show, whatsoever. She didn't have the context of later seasons to compare/contrast Season 1 with. I highly suspect that Lupa's views on Season 1 changed a bit after watching the later seasons.

I'm surprised Lupa hates Season 6 like me, as a lot of fans seem to hate Season 5 more. I liked her S6 & 8 reviews the most, as they are both truly awful in my eyes. Like others have said, she's a little bit harsh on S1 & 2, they were not that bad, and of course the series was still finding its feet. I agree with her on Season 3, it would've been the best season had it not been for the birth of PhoeME.
However, her strongest critique is reserved for Piper. She REALLY doesn't like her does she. Not that I disagree with most of her points. I also like that she gives Billie a break. Looking back, the sisters are such b*tches to her. She literally was the only decent person in S8.

Spiders. Ugh, can't stand them either. Me neither or snakes and loud noises/bangs like thunder and lightening, balloons popping, revved up cars and big motorbikes, fireworks and cars engines back firing.

Watched her season 2 review.
Oh boy, I definitely agree with her on the Piper, Leo, Dan love triangle thing. That story just made me sick of all three of them. Also the way they wrote in Prue's photography was pretty ham-fisted.
Just a couple of qualms-
1) "Phoebe becomes a student this season which desperately hits the point home that this show wants to be Buffy."
While it may be true, I think that's a bit of a stretch. I think it probably had more to do with the WB/CW liking college-centric dramas. Dawson's Creek, Gilmore Girls, Felicity, Sabrina's college years etc. They had a thing about college settings. Sure it coincided with Buffy's college season, but I personally liked that it showed Phoebe going to college as an adult rather than directly from high school.
2) I can only assume that she wasn't really paying attention to "Pardon My Past" since it's made pretty clear that the curse would've killed her current life if she hadn't been wearing P. Russel's amulet.
---
Also just a random comment from me that doesn't really have much to do with her review. I think 'Murphy's Luck' is really underrated. If you want magic/demons used as metaphors for life, I think 'Murphy's Luck' is a very poignant way of illustrating depression, self-loathing and even suicidal thought process.
Maybe that's just me.

Tell me about it. That whole photography thing came right out of left field. In all of Season One, there was not one indication that Prue had ANY interest in the field.
And the way they just wrote off her career at Buckland's by saying she was doing it "just to make ends meet", like it was no different than being a cashier at McDonald's. RUBBISH! Prue was not just answering phones at Buckland's, she was an expert in her field. Remember when Rex tested her at the end of I've Got You Under My Skin, Prue was easily able to tell a fake painting from a real one. That kind of experience takes YEARS to garner. Prue was not doing this just "to make ends meet", this was her career.
I'm glad Lupa called them out on this.

I see what you guys are saying about Prue's passion for photography seeming to come out of nowhere, but I thought it was understandable when I first watched the season. In 'Murphy's Luck' Phoebe said that Prue was "around 20" in he vision of her, so I guess she's been in college for a year or so. She was quite depressed and clearly not happy. I imagine that when Grams told her she couldn't go to college on the East Coast she pretty much gave up her dream of photojournalism and resigned herself to the fact that she was going to be stuck looking after her family in SF. She probably thought she might as well study something more practical and committed herself to art history.
And that's a big part of why she's so uptight and miserable when we first meet her in S1 - she's old before her time. It wasn't till S2 that she began to loosen up and that's what helped her realise her dreams again.

I think that Murphy's Luck is now known its guest star, Amy Adams. Ms. Adams, of course, has become much more famous since she guest starred on Charmed.

I really liked season 2. It is probably my favorite season. The problem I have with this season is that it can be removed and nothing would really change, it didn't really have any effect on the sisters or on the series.

I love Murphy's Luck now, the first time I tought it was a lot boring, I saw it again recently and I liked it Contrary to many of you, I'm reconsidering several episodes of Charmed mainly if I compare them to broadcast series, as OUAT that I stopped watching or the various episodes of Supernatural when they approach witches Maggie is a nice person, I like that in Charmed was depicted the really good people who are working for the neighbor Leo..I love him this way Leo: There's gotta be something in here. Damn it! I can't just sit back and do nothing. Think, think! (He looks up.) Give me my powers back. I want my powers back. I want my powers back, I want them back now! I can't keep being mortal if this is the cost. I don't wanna lose Piper. Not at the expense of losing one of her sisters. This is my calling. You have to let me help. You have to give me my wings back Even Prue's change of job seems like a good idea, Prue has suffered a great loss, often to recover you have to turn around your life As for Phoebe, she returns to school because this is part of her maturation process, the college life is not introduced in Charming turning it in the umpteenth boring teen show And finally, the Darklighters take a clear identity,we were able to understand their purposes and powers An underrated episode, I agree

Rubbish.
Andy's death had nothing to do with why Prue left Buckland's. She left because the new management was passing off cheap knock offs as genuine articles, and she, in good conscience, could not go along with that.

If you haven't watched it before, you have to! If nothing else, go to the last one:
and look for the final video at the 12:33 point - it's fantastic! ESPECIALLY because there's very few signs of Season 8!
