Top 10 Characters You Wished to See More Of

As you all know, this is on my mind a lot! Lot's of great characters have come in and out of the show for a few (sometimes even 1) episodes, and it always made me wonder what they would have been like in the show. I thought we could all share who we liked the most and why - I'm not sure if characters like Shelia and Elise should be included, but if you feel that strongly, put them on your list! She won't be on my list (because to me she is a huge part of the show), but I did wish we got to see more of Elise!

Here's mine, in no particular order.

1. Kyra - well all know I love Kira! I wish she had of stayed on the show and developed a close relationship with the sisters, particularly Phoebe.

2. Charleen Hughes - Charlene was a really spunky cool chick. She had the exact same energy as the sisters at that point, and think that she could have been a useful friend. She knew so much about demons, and she did a great job of injecting the storyline with her father being Phoebe's prof, and him not believing her. Even though she was only in one episode, I feel her presence was a lot bigger than a lot of other innocents.

3. Janna - Yet again, another friend who knew about the magical community that could have really helped the Charmed Ones. Yeah, she probably would have ended up getting killed eventually, but why not?

4. Drake - Oh Drake.. Probably my favourite man in the entire series. He is the only good person they didn't try to save - as in, Phoebe fought so hard to save Cole, Miles, and Eric's love.. I would have loved to see Drake come back for season 8!

5. Glenn - "You and Glenn, together again?" The answer is yes. Yes they should have been. Best onscreen chemistry Rose has had with anyone (her and Henry have great chemistry too) , and I actually wish that he had of kept his power of elasticity. Would have been cool to have another magical being in the show, especially if it was Glenn.

6. Lydia - Ok, yeah.. She's dead haha. Lydia could have been a cool older friend to the Charmed Ones, almost like an "advisor". Lydia was very smart, wise, and overall just really interesting to watch. She had a look and energy that was very Charmed (she fit right in season 5).

7. Melinda Warren - I LOVED seeing Melinda when we did! She was so feisty, and you could definitely see the Halliwell women all had the same flare. I wish we could have got to see her a bit more in either flashbacks or time travel.

8. Bane Jessep - HOTTEST man ever on Charmed! Well, him and Cole are a pretty close tie. I loved Bane, and loved him and Prue. I wish things could have worked out differently for Bane!

9. The Crone - If I could pick anything to change about Charmed, it would be the Crone. Extending the Crone until season 6 SHOULD have been what happened. She was probably the most powerful woman demon on the show, but she wasn't as smart as the Seer. She should have been capitalized on, I don't know of one fan who didn't love her. She was only in 2 episodes!!

10. Derek (The Ex-Manticore Demon Thing) - This episode was one of my favourites in season 6, and I LOVED the parental bond between Piper and Derek. He was a great character, and I would have loved some follow up with what happened with him and his son. It was also nice to see Piper have a personal connection with someone, it felt like she was a little angry a lot of season 4/5/6, and Derek and his son really brought out the nice in her.

I'll agree with most of yours. The only one you missed who would be tiptop of my list would be Maggie Murphy as played by Amy Adams - always my favorite innocent. I'm not sure who Lydia is, so for the time being, I'll knock her out and replace her with Maggie. No, I'd take Derek off the list, put Maggie on top and replace Lydia with Eva from "All Halliwell's Eve". I would love to see them find a way to bring her forward so she could teach them more about being witches, although Melinda Warren could also do that. She would also be a lot closer to the top of my list.

Oops! I just reread your message and some of the ones on my list may not fit - you may have only wanted guest stars who were only on one or two episodes and if that's the case neither Prue or Debbie Morgan's Seer would fit, even if they are indeed characters who I would've liked to have seen more from.

But if that's truly what you mean, here's how my list changes:

3. Drake from "Show Ghouls" (didn't care as much for him in the other episode)

4. Bane Jessup from "Ms. Hellifre" and "Show Me a Sign"

7. The Crone from "Sense and Sense-Ability"

8. Ava from "All Halliwell's Eve"

9. Eva from "The Eyes Have It"

Oooh Es! I forgot about Aviva. I loved her SO much, and her and Phoebes connection. I forgot about Ava too, I agree that her or Melinda would be great to have come back.

As for Lydia - she was a character in "The Eyes Have It" - she was Eva's aunt. Here she is:

I really really liked all the Gypsy characters, in fact. I really think it would have been grey if Gypsy's as a whole were used more in Charmed. They were the closets good beings to witches!

Haven't seen Season Five in ages, so that's why I didn't remember Lydia. I'll take your word that she also would've made a great guide.

Because the sisters didn't grow up with their powers, that's why I felt they needed someone who could've helped them.

I truly hope that in the reboot that Patty is still alive and can help her daughters become better witches. (Note: PATTY alive, not Grams - Grams did a crappy job raising them.)

In fact, if indeed one of the changes is that the sisters are teenagers, it would be great to have them raised by Patty and Sam - with SAM as their whitelighter, not Leo. And that way Paige could be raised with them.

On that note of someone guiding them, it would have been great to see Kit more - in human form, as their familiar guiding them. I really loved how they introduced that aspect of the show, plus I loved the actress that played Kit in "Cat House".

Cam you imagine Kit as Katrina joining them when Paige becomes part of the family - her helping Paige rather than Piper? Piper was so angry at Paige for taking Prue's place, she didn't do a good job.

Yes! OR even better, they could have given Paige a familiar of her own. They could have easily tied that in with "A Paige from the Past" to explain her whereabouts.

On that note, do you think there should have been more Paige centred episodes, particularly about her past? I think this could have made sense. A Paige from the Past was a great episode, I would have liked to see a bit more. I also loved her parents, they were so sweet. That episode gets me every time!

OOO! I like the idea of Katrina coming back during Season 4 and giving Paige her own familiar! And perhaps it would be something different than a cat...an eagle perhaps?

Oh, yes, I definitely think we should've seen more of Paige's past and even of her present. I hate that Uncle Dave and Aunt Julie were forgotten so quickly. Although I would've liked to have seen more of Paige's past if she wasn't the bratty Baby shown in "Paige of the Past" but more of the Only Child she should've been.

And you know what Es? All of these things could have been resolved if they hadn't of instantly became the power of 3 again, and gave at least like, 3 episodes for us to get to know Paige outside of the Charmed Ones.

Also - I really loved seeing Penny in the episode "Witchstock." Not exactly sure I would want to see more of her, but I really liked that episode haha.

You're unusual - most people hate that episode just because it so went against the continuity of the series.

Had they put it back in the fifties, it would've made more sense, or if the witch had been Patty rather than Penny, then it would've fit. But from the way they described Patty, I can't see her having Prue only 3 years later....

But, yes, I would've liked to have seen more of Penny and Patty's past also.

For that matter, I would've liked to have seen more of COLE's past as Belthazar, the mercenary demon - most people want to forget about that part of him, but it's part of what made him him. Just like how dull Leo was when he was no longer a whitelighter, Cole was dull when he was no longer part demon.

In "Charmed: Reset Reality" they showed how Cole and Drake knew Bianca's family long before the Charmed Ones (or, naturally, Bianca) were born.

Now there's a prequel I would've LOVED to have seen - especially if Penny and Patty and Sam were also part of it...

YES I love flashbacks to the past. They are always so good (unless done really awful). Whenever I think of past flashbacks I think of Monica in "Friends" when she wore the fat suit. I love Courtney Cox SO much, in Friends and Scream. Some of my favourite movies!

Yeah, Witchstock is the most heated and discussed episode of S6, because it mainly made no sense. lol If only a decade earlier, then yeah!!

Enola is another character I would have liked to see more of! I am just rewatching seasons 5-8, and Enola was the shaman that led Phoebe on her spirit quest. I really liked her and her powers!

Besides the characters already mentioned, would've liked to see Bianca again and the ghost Mark Chao from S1.

I agree certainly with Bianca and also Mark Chao. As well as Yan Ling from S4. I like the Chinese part very much!!
